View 6 RepliesI am wondering if anyone else has problems keeping wireless connected to WatchGuard firewalls since the ICS update. I have an XTM 23-W and an XTM 26-W both running the latest WatchGuard firmware, version 11.6.1. I have a DROID 4 that was recently updated to ICS.Ever since then, I cannot get it to stay connected to either XTM firewall on any access point (each device has 3 available APs). It will connect, authenticate, get an IP address, and work fine for 30-45 seconds, then disconnect, reconnect, and go through the whole process over and over again.The phone works fine at Starbucks (open networks), and it works at two different locations with two different Netgear wireless routers both using WPA2-PSK with AES, the same as the WatchGuard units.I have tried using 802.11 ngb, just gb, and b by itself. When using ngb, it does it about every 30-45 seconds, with gb it makes it as much as 90 seconds, and b only does it even more frequently. With an open network, it does it every 30 seconds or so.Changing channels from Auto (it was on 11) to 2 or 9 made no difference.Changing from WPA2-PSK and AES to an open network made no difference.Having only one AP active (they have 3), regardless of which one, made no difference.On my Netgear WNR3500L at home using WPA2-PSK with AES (the same as the WatchGuard units), it works fine.I cannot figure out why this phone will not stay connected.

View 12 Replies View RelatedI updated the software to 2.3.4, a small blue facebook icon appeared on my status bar, saying: Unabla to sync facebook, or something like that, in hungarian. When I delete this from the status bar, it appears again in seconds, even when I'm on wifi or 3g, and using facebook. So it' driving me crazy, can't make it go away,In the settings menu, at sync settings, my emails and the facebook are synchronised, but facebook inside xperia is not, and there is a green circle next to the others, but this one has red circle and saying there were problems with the sync, it's gonna continue later.is it just because the facebook inside xperia app is not updated yet?

View 24 Replies View RelatedEvery now and then, almost as if my phone chooses when it wants to mess with me, I'll open a conversation in the messaging app (the standard app on the phone). I can see in the main conversation window that there was a picture sent and I can see the picture. When I tap on the picture to enlarge it to full screen, it doesn't open. Instead it just shows a black screen with the thumbnails from previous sent pictures along the bottom.
To give a real example: My brother just had a baby and my mom has been sending pictures like crazy. When I open a picture from the messaging app, the screen is black but the previous pictures that were send can be opened via the thumbnail selection across the bottom of the screen.
If I close out of the app and reopen the app, I can usually see the picture I was having trouble with, but the next one will do the same thing. Sometimes I'll be looking at a picture someone sent and it will go black while the picture is already open.
It's as if something running in the background is interrupting the process and even shutting the process down in some cases. Even pictures that I've seen before, for instance, my mom sent baby pictures of my brother a few weeks earlier, won't open even after I've already seen them through the messaging app.
As you can imagine, it's terrible. Especially when I want to show my wife a picture someone sends me, I have to jump through 5 minutes worth of hoops to get it to open and in some cases I can't even get it to open!
What I want is to be able to receive a picture via the messaging app and tap on it to enlarge with NO issues. This really doesn't seem like too much to ask for.
Im not really sure how it all happened i got out of my car and i put my keys in my poket, the same poket as the iPhone normaly i never cary anything else in my poket but my iphone everything else in the other one, So as soon as i remmembered that i put the keys in the same poket i took out my phone to see if there was any scrashes but it was works there was a crack inside the phone not on the outside but inside the display. I just bought the phone a little less then a month ago. i bought it a telcel retail store and there is no apple retail store to take it for the warranty what should i do ?

I have an IPhone 4. I do not get signal at all when I'm inside some specific location. fx, inside a supermarket, even in my work-place but not in my apartment. I generally get no-signal in a location which has wall on 3 sides. I suspect that my iphone is not capturing signal well. I do get signal in other places but not inside those places. I'm having this problem since Apri. I bought my IPhone in June 2011. I get 'searching' or 'no service' message. I returned my phone to my carrier for the repair, however, they examined my phone and told me there is no problem. They possibly could not understand the actual problem of my phone.I suppose my phone has only 1 year of warranty and if so, then it expired on June 1. what should I do now?

When I shook the phone,I could clearly hear something rattle inside.I kept shaking it to see if I could figure out what was loose checked all the buttons and didn't seem to be them.Then I noticed after a little shaking it said "NO SIM" so I thought this must be it.I took the sim card out and shook again and it still rattled so it doesn't seem to be the sim. Everything seems to be working fine.Anyone else seen this?

I noticed that my Lumia 800 has a scratch inside of the screen. The scratch doesnt appear to be on top of the screen but underneath it. Its kinda noticeable specially when looking at the phone under the sunlight. I just got this phone for a day. I got the phone in the afternoon and only saw the scratch in the evening.I wonder if there are other issues about a Lumia having a scratch underneath the screen.
View 2 Replies View RelatedI have a moto milestone which I am using for last five/six months. Recently I realized that it's hardware keyboard is getting harder to slide out. While sliding out, it felt like it is brushing somewhere inside or the feeling was as if it needed lubrication.
I made a huge mistake (which I realized afterwards) of putting a drop of very thin high grade oil on the slider rail. Although it was only a single drop, it sipped through from inside the screen. After three days, it has started showing. The bottom portion of the screen looks like there are oily stains from side. The touch screen functionality has NOT got affected at all. But it is looking bad when the screen lights up and the background is white.
I have a notification and I don't know what it means. It is a blue circle with the letters 'NG' inside it. anyone know what it might be?
