My phone has a muffled rattle inside it. My other phones don't do that. I thought it might be the power button. When I remove the case it seems quite loose even though it appears to be attached securely.
View 10 RepliesI'm trying to record video. I'm getting some nice image quality, but almost no sound. The audio is extremely muffled. I have my playback volume as high as it will go, and still can just barely hear anything. I can use Tango and make phone calls just fine, so it seems that my mic is working. The only time I've noticed the problem is when I'm trying to record a video. Even if the person I'm recording is standing right in front of my and speaking in a loud, clear voice, I can't hear much in the recorded video.
View 5 Replies View RelatedI have noticed ever since i've gotten my Atrix that the wifi is always getting dropped when im inside a bedroom or some 20 ft away from the router. At first i thought it might have been just my router having issues but my laptop never experienced any wifi droppage like that though. The only times i don't get dropped signals are when im actually right infront of my router
I've read that sim-unlocked devices may experience this issue but mine isn't, or at least i don't think it is. I bought it from n AT&T store and im pretty sure they wouldn't sell an unlocked device, ever...
So my question is then, has anyone found a solution to this? I mean it's starting to become a real big hassle having to wait for my connection to come back up so i can continue using my phone
My brother also bought an Atrix lest than a month ago and its having the same issue so i have no clue if either both our devices are defective or if its a general issues most users are having, cause if so, i think Atrix users should either get a refund or at least an update to fix this issue.
My front facing camera has a bunch of dust inside of it. Is there anyway to clean it? It really affects the clarity of the picture.

I talked to Verizon they sent me 2 refurb phones that both did it. We got Motorola on the call and they wanted to ship my phone back for repair but I'd have no phone so that wasn't an option.The local manager at the corp. store near me let me get a brand new one. He had never heard of it but it took us 3 brand new phones before we got one that didn't rattle. Even the floor model rattled as well.Yes I know the phone works and camera.

View 6 Replies View RelatedI've tried to use the Roadster's FM mode, but find its audio quality in FM mode to be very bad. I can barely understand peoples voices as the audio sounds muffled. I can try to make it better by reducing the BASS on my FM radio to minimum, and maximizing the TREBLE.I'm almost ready to open up the Roadster and see if I can figure out a hack for the hardware to fix this.

It doesn't seem to be a problem calling voicemail, I can hear the machine just fine, but on all voice calls, I sound very muffled, and have a hard time hearing the other person. I tried holding the phone in every conceivable way which made little difference. This is especially bad when my wife and I call each other. I went to the Verizon store (not where I bought it), and they denied there was any problem and sent me away. I am running Android Jellybean (4.1.1). On my old Sprint phone, this was never an issue, but background noise was horrible. With the RAZR M, there is no background noise, but no clarity either.
View 7 Replies View RelatedI have a moto milestone which I am using for last five/six months. Recently I realized that it's hardware keyboard is getting harder to slide out. While sliding out, it felt like it is brushing somewhere inside or the feeling was as if it needed lubrication.
I made a huge mistake (which I realized afterwards) of putting a drop of very thin high grade oil on the slider rail. Although it was only a single drop, it sipped through from inside the screen. After three days, it has started showing. The bottom portion of the screen looks like there are oily stains from side. The touch screen functionality has NOT got affected at all. But it is looking bad when the screen lights up and the background is white.
I have two google music Invites to give out and one will go to someone willing to invite me to google plus.
View 7 Replies View RelatedI just sent my Xoom off on a repair ticket because when I went to put in the SD card, I goofed. I did not realize the clear plastic "fingernail" was holding the SD slot. I tried to put the card in and it slipped under the appointed slot and got stuck inside the Xoom.if you haven't inserted your SD card yet, don't do what I did. There is a clear plastic tab that must be removed from the slot for the SD card. get the card back with the Xoom. It worked fine even with the stuck card, but the dust cover wouldn't go back on.

It sounds like when someone has the volume too high & the person on the other end is shouting but I don't have the volume very high at all & can still hear the noise. It doesn't sound this way on speakerphone, only when I hold the phone to my ear.

One thing that's bugging me though is that whenever I'm using my phone as an actual phone (Who actually makes phone calls anymore, right?!) there is an annoying buzzing/rattling/almost kind of like distortion) when the person is talking to me. It usually goes away if I turn the volume almost all the way down, but this is obviously not a practical option since I'm not always making phone calls in a dead silent room.
The speaker phone works fine. This only happens when I'm using the earpiece. Is this normal? Is it related to the camera autofocus sensor rattle? Are the sound vibrations from a person's voice enough to set off the rattle? It's really annoying as I tend to make phone calls a lot and I don't like using speaker phone or a headset. This was never an issue on my S3.
A lot of Lumia 900 owners are reporting a rattle during vibration alerts.

Now, just this evening I got two calls when I didn't have my headset on and both times I had bad sound quality from the phone itself. It was muffled, almost like a thin sheet was over the speaker and vibrating against it. Has anyone else experienced this issue?
