Nov 16, 2011So they finally added the ability to share info about the current song you're listening to with friends, however when it comes up with the content of what to send it says "Me recommends <song name> by <artist name>", and continues on with the link to info, etc. Where is it picking up the "Me"? Obviously I have to tell the system who I am somewhere, but haven't found any option inside the Music player nor in the Contacts to specify one of them as my own contact.

All pins okay in the phone and battery is sound yet phone will unpredictably lose power.Support recommended a Factory Data Reset to "refresh the power system inside the phone" and I'm uncertain about doing this even though all of my apps are backed up on the SD card.

Oct 5, 2012When I receive a meeting invitation sent from Microsoft Hotmail / Microsoft Windows Live Mail / Microsoft Outlook to my Google Gmail account, I am unable to accept or decline the invitation from the Android 4.0.4 Gmail App. The Gmail App displays the email message as having an ".ics" attachment. Clicking the ".ics" attachment opens the event in the Android 4.0.4 Calendar App. Unfortunately, neither the Gmail App nor the Calendar App provide a way to respond to the sender with an indication of accept or decline. Further, the event on the calendar loses the information about the event organizer and instead incorretly shows me as the creator of the event rather than as an attendee.
A related issue is that the Calendar App insists on storing the event on the "Device calendar." More information on saving the event to the default calendar is described in the post "Problem saving meeting invites on RAZR." Android Issue 1257, "Calendar should support opening iCal .ics files" is also relevant.
Is there any way to use the ATRIX HD in a way that is compatible with iCalendar (.ics) format invitations? Test System: Motorola Atrix HD, Android 4.0.4.
Motorola Milestone GSM :: Oil Stain Inside The Screen?
May 13, 2011I have a moto milestone which I am using for last five/six months. Recently I realized that it's hardware keyboard is getting harder to slide out. While sliding out, it felt like it is brushing somewhere inside or the feeling was as if it needed lubrication.
I made a huge mistake (which I realized afterwards) of putting a drop of very thin high grade oil on the slider rail. Although it was only a single drop, it sipped through from inside the screen. After three days, it has started showing. The bottom portion of the screen looks like there are oily stains from side. The touch screen functionality has NOT got affected at all. But it is looking bad when the screen lights up and the background is white.

Apr 24, 2011I have noticed ever since i've gotten my Atrix that the wifi is always getting dropped when im inside a bedroom or some 20 ft away from the router. At first i thought it might have been just my router having issues but my laptop never experienced any wifi droppage like that though. The only times i don't get dropped signals are when im actually right infront of my router
I've read that sim-unlocked devices may experience this issue but mine isn't, or at least i don't think it is. I bought it from n AT&T store and im pretty sure they wouldn't sell an unlocked device, ever...
So my question is then, has anyone found a solution to this? I mean it's starting to become a real big hassle having to wait for my connection to come back up so i can continue using my phone
My brother also bought an Atrix lest than a month ago and its having the same issue so i have no clue if either both our devices are defective or if its a general issues most users are having, cause if so, i think Atrix users should either get a refund or at least an update to fix this issue.
Motorola Xoom :: SD Card In Wrong Slot, Stuck Inside It?
Jul 25, 2011I just sent my Xoom off on a repair ticket because when I went to put in the SD card, I goofed. I did not realize the clear plastic "fingernail" was holding the SD slot. I tried to put the card in and it slipped under the appointed slot and got stuck inside the Xoom.if you haven't inserted your SD card yet, don't do what I did. There is a clear plastic tab that must be removed from the slot for the SD card. get the card back with the Xoom. It worked fine even with the stuck card, but the dust cover wouldn't go back on.

Jul 24, 2011After a recent update to ES File Explorer it is now possible to open and view video directly from a shared folder in a wifi network. I used to stream video using DLNA and upnplay from my nas, but now I can play the files directly from the share on the nas! Much simpler and it seems better. It's almost like having a few TB of storage on the Xoom.

Nov 2, 2010I use gmail and google calendar on my blackberry. My work outlook syncs with google calendar and the BB syncs my calendar. That all works fine I also have an outlook web access connection to my work email.When I get work emails that are appointment invites they show up on the BB calendar. This happens even if I dont accept them. Just the fact that there is an email coming to by BB that is an invite gets them on my calendar. Then the next time my BB syncs with my Google calendar I end up with duplicate appointments for all items that I received invites for via my OWA account.Is there a way I can stop these work invites from ending up on my calendar. I just the OWA email. Even if the invites showed up in my BB message list that would be fine I just dont want them to make their way to my calendar.
