I talked to Verizon they sent me 2 refurb phones that both did it. We got Motorola on the call and they wanted to ship my phone back for repair but I'd have no phone so that wasn't an option. The local manager at the corp. store near me let me get a brand new one. He had never heard of it but it took us 3 brand new phones before we got one that didn't rattle. Even the floor model rattled as well.Yes I know the phone works and camera.
View 9 Replies View RelatedI just upgraded from an S3 to an S5 a few days ago and I'm loving it so far. One thing that's bugging me though is that whenever I'm using my phone as an actual phone (Who actually makes phone calls anymore, right?!) there is an annoying buzzing/rattling/almost kind of like distortion) when the person is talking to me. It usually goes away if I turn the volume almost all the way down, but this is obviously not a practical option since I'm not always making phone calls in a dead silent room.
The speaker phone works fine. This only happens when I'm using the earpiece. Is this normal? Is it related to the camera autofocus sensor rattle? Are the sound vibrations from a person's voice enough to set off the rattle? It's really annoying as I tend to make phone calls a lot and I don't like using speaker phone or a headset. This was never an issue on my S3.
While on a phone call with anyone, I get a random clicking noise no matter if on speaker, bluetooth, or earpiece of phone. I have already tried pulling back, factory reset, and clearing the cache. Verizon phone on BOG5.
View 7 Replies View Relatedi was using my phone then later i went to get something i heard a buzzing noise coming from my phone and when i clicked the home button the screen was black it wouldn't come on.
i tried switching it on by pressing the home button and power button together but it continued to make the noise and the screen is black. Also i did put it on charge to see if it would come on but it didn't.
Whenever my phone disconnects from wi-fi, it makes a short noise. Apart from why it is disconnecting all the time, the noise is annoying because the phone is set to vibrate - hence it shouldn't be making any sound at all! I'm using the stock 5.1 ROM on the S6 international version.
View 1 Replies View Relatedinstalled the Kies software and the USB driver that comes with it rattles the floppy disk drive constantly!
Yes I have a floppy drive i'm an IT technician and sadly require it for some older machines.
I have the dreaded echo when I'm using the phone and would like to know if there is a permanent way of turning off Noise Reduction as this is the only way I can get rid of it. As I already have a hearing impediment the echo is extremely annoying and having to turn off NR everytime the phone is used strikes me as ridiculous for such an expensive and otherwise marvellous piece of kit; its also a silly inconvenience.
Any hacks that will turn off NR or any chance Samsung will cure this in a software update?
I just received my iPhone 4 and noticed some play in both volume button? Is that normal or should they be rock solid and not move an inch?

View 9 Replies View RelatedI have the X6. The phone rings and I unlock the keyguard using the slider on the side of the phone and the phone stops ringing. Then in order to answer the phone I press the green button on the bottom left of the phone or I press answer call on the screen and then I can speak which I suppose sounds fair enough. But I just think that something is wrong because surely the phone should continue to make the 'ringing' noise until I actually answer the call rather than going mute just because I have unlocked the keyguard.. Am I doing something wrong or is this just how the phone works?
View 4 Replies View Related1. While an SMS is received, is there anyway to make the phone vibrate more than two times? Let's say 4 times?
2. Make the phone vibrator to vibrate more strongly so that the incoming call is never missed.
As much as I see that the vibrate alert is handy when one carries the mobile in one's pocket there are times when I want to switch it off. One such occasion is Sleeping. I don't put my w660i in my pyjamas pocket in bed. I put it on the table beside the bed. All it wants to do is vibrate off the table when the wake up alarm goes off. Can I deactivate the vibrator for sleep times?
View 1 Replies View RelatedFor some reason my phone is now making an incredibly loud screeching noise when I am making a call. Both I and whoever is on the other end hear it. It could be a problem with the mic or earpiece. It is rooted with a custom rom on it.
View 1 Replies View RelatedI've had my Samsung Galaxy S6 since launch and everything has been fine up until the past few days or so when everytime I open up either the camera or snapchat, the phone makes a weird buzzing sound that only stops once I tap to focus. It makes the noise everytime I re-open the app, the camera also struggles to focus on occasions but is fine most of the time.
View 24 Replies View RelatedI had just got done texting my girlfriend, and so I set my phone in my pocket like usual. 5 minutes later I took it back out and it just didnt turn back on, I tried everything to fix it. I tried checking if it was the battery and it wasnt, I tried rebooting it and it didnt work either. I know its not the screen because it would at least vibrate or make noise or light up but the only thing that lights up is a lil green light at the corner when I plug it to charge.

View 3 Replies View RelatedMy htc one m7 keeps making random notification style noises and what it can be. I can't see a pattern and the short noise it makes is not one of the ones listed in the notification sounds in settings. It still vibrates in silent mode and I've installed a notification history app but there is no record of any notifications at the appropriate times. Nfc is turned off.
View 1 Replies View RelatedI use a wireless charging dock in my car along with connecting my phone via bluetooth to the entertainment system. I've encountered an annoying issue when playing media.. here's the simplest way I can put my scenario:
1. Place phone on wireless charger and starting playing music
2. Phone becomes 100% charged and emits a screen wake + notification noise telling me so
3. Wireless charging stops because the phone is fully charged
4. With music playing, the battery drains to less than 100%, which engages the wireless charging
5. Repeat from step 2
This loop happens over and over endlessly. The charged notification makes an audible noise like every 3-4 minutes which is super annoying while I'm listening to music.
Is there a way for me to disable the audible noise that occurs when I place my phone on a charger or when the phone becomes fully charged? Is there a way to keep the wireless charging "active" so my charge doesn't dip while on the dock?
i am new galaxy s ii owner. i got this device two days ago and when i was playing with the camera i noticed a strange noise every time i went to the camera app. i tested with other camera apps and updated my firmware via kies and i can still hear the noise. the noise is like ,, two clicks" at every camera startup and that's all. after it my camera's autofocus and everything else works perfectly fine. exact sound i found in one of Internet videos: [url] but his camera does not work and the noise repeats. so my question would be is that noise perfectly fine? or is it just me and i should replace the device?
