HTC One M7 :: Random Noise And Vibration From Phone
Nov 8, 2015
My htc one m7 keeps making random notification style noises and what it can be. I can't see a pattern and the short noise it makes is not one of the ones listed in the notification sounds in settings. It still vibrates in silent mode and I've installed a notification history app but there is no record of any notifications at the appropriate times. Nfc is turned off.
So I had a software update come in the other night and I let it run OTA (). So anyways, things went ok, except I get this random click or pop noise every few minutes. It's very soft, but others can hear it.
Over the past couple of days, my phone (iphone 4) has been random vibrating and/or making various sounds. When this happens, there are no notifications. It will just sound or buzz for what seems to be no reason. Most of the time, my applications are not on. I have push on for my mail application, but that's it. The phone is in good condition, it's never been dropped or damaged in any way.
I have just got a new N8 (as I damaged my old one), and every 10 minutes it makes a noise, like something dropping in water. I have no apps or anything open, no messages etc so I've no idea why its making this noise?
I have just got my N5800 but one thing is driving me crazy - it randomly makes a "ching ching" noise and its very irritating - its just done it twice while I am typing this up. Is there some application that I have got open (ie checked and cant see any) or is there some kind of alert that I have forgot to turn off - either way its doing my head in. The alrm function seems to do what ever it wants, so far it will either got off on time or 3 mins late or just not at all - am I missing something ? Surely the alarm function cant be that complicated to set and get right?
I have the X6. The phone rings and I unlock the keyguard using the slider on the side of the phone and the phone stops ringing. Then in order to answer the phone I press the green button on the bottom left of the phone or I press answer call on the screen and then I can speak which I suppose sounds fair enough. But I just think that something is wrong because surely the phone should continue to make the 'ringing' noise until I actually answer the call rather than going mute just because I have unlocked the keyguard.. Am I doing something wrong or is this just how the phone works?
On silent and normal profiles, the vibration stops after around 20 seconds even though the incoming call persists. How do I get the vibration to continue?
So I just got the factory unlocked HTC One M8 from the website and so far I'm loving it. The only thing with me though is that I REALLY think the vibration intensity on this device is too high (or is it just me?).
My HTC One keeps losing it's vibration. It'll come back sometimes then be gone again for days. I think I might have to exchange it but... I have it so customized and some paid apps too,
While on a phone call with anyone, I get a random clicking noise no matter if on speaker, bluetooth, or earpiece of phone. I have already tried pulling back, factory reset, and clearing the cache. Verizon phone on BOG5.
When my phone vibrates you can really hear the vibration, so if the phone is in my pocket and it vibrates someone next to me would be able.to hear it.Is the vibration suppose to be loud that way?
During a call, if there's any kind of notification (email or sms) or alarm the phone will annoyingly vibrate which I and the other person can hear.I've looked in the settings and haven't found a way to only turn off vibrate during calls. The only thing in the settings I've seen is to just turn of notifications completely, which I don't really consider a solution since I would like my phone to vibrate when things come in normally.I've missed the simple setting that stops vibration during a call.
Got my IPhone on Monday and I haven't had any problems until today when i grabbed my phone and i heard a cracking noise coming from behind the the device. Its only when I apply very little pressure to the back with my fingers or when I am touching the screen from the front. Everything works fine still but the noise is getting me concerned.
I was sitting at my desk and all the sudden I hear a high pitched whistle or whine coming from my phone. I picked it up and it is locked. I can't turn it on, I can't turn it off and it just keeps making that noise. A minute later, the noise stops and the phone reboots.
When I record a video and play it back I can hear a loud whirring noise in the background. It happens regardless if the camera is moving or not when the video was taken and is quite an annoying sound.
i was using my phone then later i went to get something i heard a buzzing noise coming from my phone and when i clicked the home button the screen was black it wouldn't come on.
i tried switching it on by pressing the home button and power button together but it continued to make the noise and the screen is black. Also i did put it on charge to see if it would come on but it didn't.
Whenever my phone disconnects from wi-fi, it makes a short noise. Apart from why it is disconnecting all the time, the noise is annoying because the phone is set to vibrate - hence it shouldn't be making any sound at all! I'm using the stock 5.1 ROM on the S6 international version.
My phone is constantly putting o's into every word, and often just straight up barely types. It also is continuously calling numbers even after I've deleted them from my phone.
I called Bell and they had me wipe my phone and that didn't do anything, so I upgraded the software which also did nothing.
I want to know that how a person can stop vibration when phone is ringing on silent mode..when there is only vibration no ring tone...just want to stop that vibration either on silent mode..
It's my third day owning the Lumia 1520 and all of a sudden it doesn't vibrate anymore. Vibrate is turned on. I even restarted the phone. It's never been dropped or had any rough treatment.
Just got my S6E about 1 hour ago and still setting it up. I have vibration turned off under sounds and notifications, however I'm still getting a buzz every time I pick the phone up.
While taking a photo in a silent environment, I just noticed that the camera module of my Lumia 1020 (running the Black update) is making a weird 'fan'-like noise - akin to when your laptop in becoming warm. You can only hear it, if the the camera module is placed close to your ear. Is this normal,
So the other day I switched over from an iPhone 4, my gf bought the HTC One X after I recommended it to her since shes not an Apple person and after playing around with it my self I decided to also switch. So far I'm loving the phone but a couple of things that are bothering me are this; How is it that you cannot send DECENT quality videos?! On the iPhone I was able to send high quality minute long videos with no problem. I took a 15 second video in lower resolution and pixel rate and EVERY TIME it would say the file is too large.Next, group messaging.. iPhone did this no problem. Me and 3 other people could send messages back and forth like we were in a chat room, HTC? Nope, sends them individually to each person. I heard some recommendation of apps that do this but they make you sign up for some lame account where my name is displayed instead of my phone number or name listed in THEIR contact list.
Lastly, is there a way to change the keyboard other than the tilt way to make the space bar button bigger? I'm always hitting the period button after every wordAre there any ways to get around these little inconveniences? I'd appreciate any recommendations or suggestions cause I'd hate to have to go back to the ATT store and upgrade to the iPhone 4S.Edit: Another issue.. noticed while in camera mode, taking pictures theres a constant clicking noise coming from the phone. Not sure what it is its very faint but annoying. Anyone else experience this?Another issue I found! Check this out this is definitely strange! So I dropped my phone today and I thought I had broken the three buttons on the bottom of the phone because they would not light up in my room... So I figured I would exchange it at the store on monday and went on with my business. I went downstairs into my gym to work out and those lights magically started working so I thought huh, thats cool maybe its just because it was charging.. but then I went back into my bedroom and the lights stopped working again
