View 1 Replies View RelatedJust got my S6E about 1 hour ago and still setting it up. I have vibration turned off under sounds and notifications, however I'm still getting a buzz every time I pick the phone up.

View 1 Replies View RelatedIm having a huge problem with my phone. Galaxy s5 is the phone. Sent it to Samsung because it wouldn't charge. So they replaced the battery port and LED screen. Sent it back. I hooked it back up. Starting using it and now i cant get 4g anymore. It will come on then go out and have a X on signal bar. Then i cant do anything no calls no text no nothing. I have to switch over to 3G which really sucks. And even that goes out now. Im lost. What to do??. And this is my signal strength -113 dbm 0 asu. Not sure what it means
View 1 Replies View RelatedI have vibrate set for when using the keyboard so that it vibrates when typing, and I have it on maximum strength...but every so often, the vibrate seems to change and it seems to be less strong even though I haven't changed the vibration settings.
View 2 Replies View RelatedI get a poor signal indoors at home - on Orange and it's always been the case. I spoke to their customer services and was told to switch the phone from auto select for Network Mode to GSM only. My choices are GSM only, WCDMA only or Auto.
True, having done so, the signal strength seems better though not amazing but, ordinarily, I get then just a "G" for data. I found that switching to WCDMA only, data goes to 3G or even H and sometime H+ but I nearly always lose the standard signal.
I dont understand the difference between GSM and WCDMA nor whether the results I see when choosing each are to be expected or not. I'd welcome any information from those of you who know more about these things than I do.
I bought neo v and having 2 issue on that,
1) Wi-fi issue: Wi-fi signal strength is weaker then other phone like HTC wildfire S, i am having another phone wildfire s and in the same room the signals of wifi of HTC is good and in neo v signal is too low/poor which results connection is lost time to time , to resolve the issue i've to delete/forget the connection again n again.
2) Its light sensor is too sensitive , in dim lights its brightness is too low while in gud background lights its brightness is gud. Please provide any solution to switch off that sensor.
My S5 constantly drops calls. I have done a search and I do not have HD voice. My mobile network is set to Global. The signal strength will fluctuate wildly from 4 bars to 0 and drop. happening at least 50% of time. Many iphones in the house no dropped calls.
View 1 Replies View RelatedI've noticed for the last couple of months anytime I check my "Network type and strength" in the About phone/status menu the 4G varies depending on where I am, but no matter what, the 1x always shows -120dBm.
View 10 Replies View RelatedI recently debranded my C905a and I want to know if anyone knows for a fact that if by doing so I have reduced my phone's ability to mainain a decent reception signal. If I remeber correctly, I had the same problem before I debranded. I've called Sony Ericsson about the low reception strength and they told me that it was a network problem. I know that is not true b/c before the C905a, I was using a Nokia 2610 (a cheapie until I could upgrade) and that phone always had a signal virtually anywhere and I can count on 1 hand how many dropped calls I had using that phone. I do live out in a semi-rural area but, my mother has a Nokia 6555 (I live w/ her) and she does not have the problem with dropped calls like I do. But, w/ the C905a, I have to put the phone on speaker 3/4 of the time b/c when I put the phone to my ear, it simply looses all reception. The closer to the city I get, the reception problem becomes less an issue.
View 5 Replies View Relatedi have an IPhine 5s and the vibration has stopped working?
Info:
iPhone 5s, iOS 8.1.1
On silent and normal profiles, the vibration stops after around 20 seconds even though the incoming call persists. How do I get the vibration to continue?
View 1 Replies View RelatedEverytime I take my phone off of power save mode, my vibration feedback turns off on its own and I always have to turn it back on manually. What's causing this?
View 4 Replies View RelatedI use the stock messaging app, and when I get a text message, my phone doesn't vibrate. Yes, I have vibrate checked in the notification settings of the Messages app, and every other notification vibrates my phone.
View 3 Replies View RelatedUpdated to Lollipop last night and frustratingly I am now getting the same vibration notification for everything where as before it was for example 2 shorts vibrates for texts, 1 long vibrate for emails etc. Because I use my phone mainly on vibrate I need this so I know what kind of alert I am getting in my poket.
View 24 Replies View RelatedThe vibration function of my S6 (G920l) works when I press the keyboard, when I receive SMS or WhatsApp messages, when I answer and hang up a call.
It does not work when I receive a call.
I have the VIBRATE WHILE RINGING option enabled. My phone is NOT on power saving.
I first had vibration feedback when my fingerprint did not match for screen unlocking. But now I have realized that my phone no longer vibrates upon not matching my fingerprint to the records it's got. It only says "no match" on the bottom of screen, without any vibration.
Since I've played around with my phone settings I'm guessing it might be something I have accidentally disabled. So I went back to settings and browsed through everywhere that looked like relevant to my issue but did not succeed to find anything (tried enabling some features and checking the "no match". And my phone is NOT on battery saver mode).
So I just got the factory unlocked HTC One M8 from the website and so far I'm loving it. The only thing with me though is that I REALLY think the vibration intensity on this device is too high (or is it just me?).

I also want to make the ringtone silent in this contact group but this can also not?
I had a system update on my brand new s6 and now it won't vibrate for notifications it works for the keyboard and when it turns on and off so the motor is good. And I went into setting and it's all on. But I just can't get it to work.
View 1 Replies View RelatedI started using Hangouts again for SMS on my Verizon S5 and quickly remembered why I had stopped in the first place. I cannot seem to turn off the Hangouts app vibrations for new texts. See, I use Light Flow for all my notifications, and I have it set up to vibrate twice when I get a new text message. Light Flow is working fine, but the problem is that there is always a third, longer vibration immediately before the Light Flow ones. I assume it's coming from the Hangouts app itself but I've poured through every setting, turned off vibrate everywhere I've seen it, and yet the single, long vibrate persists. I've even gone through all the main phone settings to no avail. I'm also relatively certain that Light Flow isn't the issue; when I disable that app, I still get the single, long vibration from Hangouts.
View 13 Replies View RelatedHow to disable vibration and sound in messaging app?
When you unclick the vibrate option in notification settings in the stock messaging app, it won't vibrate when you receive a text if you set your phone to vibrate mode.
I don't want my phone to vibrate and make a sound with volume on when receiving texts, but there doesn't seem to be a way to have it vibrate only when in vibrate mode and make a sound when in sound mode without vibration.
Other apps like groupme allow you to separate vibration and sound mode, but can't in the stock messaging app...
I did a google search and a search on this forum but i could not find a solution. After i send a text i get a balance notification from O2, This notification vibrates. Is there a way to turn this vibration off (or only have it vibrate in silent mode, like i have enabled for my SMS)
View 2 Replies View Relatedmy phone won't vibrate on notifications or calls anymore and it's killing me. settings > sound > vibration is set to 'always'. i didn't drop the phone or anything, so i don't know what it could be. the vibrating phone icon is visible on the top bar too.i'm using go sms pro and have that set to vibrate always, and even if i run the test notification, it says that vibrate is on, but it doesn't actually vibrate.
View 1 Replies View RelatedI just received my S6 a few days ago (T-mobile variant). Got the latest update, factory reset it. Lately I've been having some issues with the haptic feedback and vibration when typing or receiving notifications. The haptic feedback when typing will suddenly be really unnoticeable or completely gone. I checked my settings in both keyboard settings and the Vibration settings under notifications and made sure I didn't accidentally lower the intensity. When I adjust the sliders, I can tell that the vibration is considerably less stronger than before.
