Galaxy S6 :: Vibration Feedback Keeps Turning Off
May 18, 2015Everytime I take my phone off of power save mode, my vibration feedback turns off on its own and I always have to turn it back on manually. What's causing this?

Aug 27, 2015So realistically speaking, by turning off the vibration haptic feedback on the phone, and the Google keyboard, does that really Save a substantial amount of battery power?most people say yes. Just out of curiosity.

Apr 15, 2015I just received my S6 a few days ago (T-mobile variant). Got the latest update, factory reset it. Lately I've been having some issues with the haptic feedback and vibration when typing or receiving notifications. The haptic feedback when typing will suddenly be really unnoticeable or completely gone. I checked my settings in both keyboard settings and the Vibration settings under notifications and made sure I didn't accidentally lower the intensity. When I adjust the sliders, I can tell that the vibration is considerably less stronger than before.

Dec 8, 2012This morning I have upgraded to Jelly Bean. Everything works a charm except for one small snag; I cannot seem to activate vibration feedback. The option is grayed out.
What I've tried:
1) Enabling sound feedback, disabling it, trying each variation of quiet, loud etc
2) Deselecting show �rroe keys"and "Trace keyboard".
3) Reset device (only soft reset) - I don't want to reset it to factory settings.
Have I missed something? I want to be able to turn this feature on - [URL]
Google Nexus 5 :: Do Not Have Any Haptic Feedback / Keyboard Vibration
Dec 10, 2013Under Settings/Sound, I have Vibrate on touch checked. I use SwiftKey and under those settings I also have it checked to vibrate on keyless but still nothing. I tried using the stock keyboard in case it's a SwiftKey issue but that doesn't vibrate either.
I just realized the phone doesn't vibrate at all, even for calls. When I set the ringer to vibrate, it's just quiet. Guess it's a hardware issue.

Mar 20, 2012Is there any information about haptic feedback (vibration) signals on the Droid 4? I have noticed sometimes after adjusting the volume with the side-mounted rocker buttons that I will sometimes experience a double (short) vibrate or a longer vibrate, but it doesn't seem to happen all the time. I have also experienced these feedback signals at other times, and can't figure out what is triggering them or what they are meant to indicate. They don't seem related to notifications or other obvious indications.

Jan 22, 2012im trying to figure out whats wrong with my photon, its been almost a month and when i get a notification (email,text,ect) i dont find out untill hours after i recived it because my phone doesnt vibrate. It vibrates when i get a call and when im using the keyboard but not when i get a notification. I have the vibration for notifications turned on but it doesnt seem to affect anything. I dont get any notification vibration feedback when my phones on vibrate or its on sound.

I uninstalled the app to see if that was the cause, but it is the still doing it. It will sometimes come back on its own. And it will come back after a restart. Is there anything else I might try before I do a factory reset?

Aug 26, 2015I first had vibration feedback when my fingerprint did not match for screen unlocking. But now I have realized that my phone no longer vibrates upon not matching my fingerprint to the records it's got. It only says "no match" on the bottom of screen, without any vibration.
Since I've played around with my phone settings I'm guessing it might be something I have accidentally disabled. So I went back to settings and browsed through everywhere that looked like relevant to my issue but did not succeed to find anything (tried enabling some features and checking the "no match". And my phone is NOT on battery saver mode).

Sep 8, 2014I started using Hangouts again for SMS on my Verizon S5 and quickly remembered why I had stopped in the first place. I cannot seem to turn off the Hangouts app vibrations for new texts. See, I use Light Flow for all my notifications, and I have it set up to vibrate twice when I get a new text message. Light Flow is working fine, but the problem is that there is always a third, longer vibration immediately before the Light Flow ones. I assume it's coming from the Hangouts app itself but I've poured through every setting, turned off vibrate everywhere I've seen it, and yet the single, long vibrate persists. I've even gone through all the main phone settings to no avail. I'm also relatively certain that Light Flow isn't the issue; when I disable that app, I still get the single, long vibration from Hangouts.

When you unclick the vibrate option in notification settings in the stock messaging app, it won't vibrate when you receive a text if you set your phone to vibrate mode.
I don't want my phone to vibrate and make a sound with volume on when receiving texts, but there doesn't seem to be a way to have it vibrate only when in vibrate mode and make a sound when in sound mode without vibration.
Other apps like groupme allow you to separate vibration and sound mode, but can't in the stock messaging app...
