So I had a software update come in the other night and I let it run OTA (). So anyways, things went ok, except I get this random click or pop noise every few minutes. It's very soft, but others can hear it.
View 3 RepliesMy htc one m7 keeps making random notification style noises and what it can be. I can't see a pattern and the short noise it makes is not one of the ones listed in the notification sounds in settings. It still vibrates in silent mode and I've installed a notification history app but there is no record of any notifications at the appropriate times. Nfc is turned off.

View 8 Replies View RelatedI have just got my N5800 but one thing is driving me crazy - it randomly makes a "ching ching" noise and its very irritating - its just done it twice while I am typing this up. Is there some application that I have got open (ie checked and cant see any) or is there some kind of alert that I have forgot to turn off - either way its doing my head in. The alrm function seems to do what ever it wants, so far it will either got off on time or 3 mins late or just not at all - am I missing something ? Surely the alarm function cant be that complicated to set and get right?

This is NOT the delay you have with some providers.The problem becomes very annoying if there is a strong ambiant noise. For example I recently had a phone call while watching tv.I could hear the tv in my ear, it was coming through the microphone of the phone.But as I have it loud, this sound goes back through the microphone, creating a loop. and giving a strong high feedback sound. (this stops when i go into a silent room)(its like in the radio, when the radiostation calls someone on the phone and they dont turn the volume of their radio down)No, I am not using handsfree or speaker mode. Just plain phone call, the phone on my ear.Normally ( it was like that before) I could NOT hear what was going into the mike, only the person on the other end of the line should be able to hear it.
PS: it has nothing to do with the provider, as my other Phones work perfectly with the same sim card.(I use the x3-02 in the office as it is very small and fits into the breast-pocket of my suit.)

Tried to identify by a notification logger but does not show anything, the phone just pings with no led flash... I heard its a yahoo app but I do not have yahoo account or on my phone.
Phone is UK model, unlocked on EE carrier from carphone warehouse. Android Central App (S6 White 64gb)
My device is GS6, few days ago received OTA update. Updated phone like usual and all went fine. Few days later started noticing that device randomly restarting. Today it happened 4 or 5 times so far, mainly when I want to unlock screen, after swipe everything freezes and device restarts.
Also when I left phone on charge, come back to it, unplugged charger and phone is dead, won't start won't respond to anything. After pressing volume key power and home button, I managed to restart it.
Since the update supposedly began, my X has been randomly shutting down with no warning.

I called Bell and they had me wipe my phone and that didn't do anything, so I upgraded the software which also did nothing.

View 2 Replies View RelatedI have recently updated to v50 firmware. I did first OTA, and then through Ovi Suite. I am experiencing several issues, the most severe of which is a substantially patchier internet connection. The internet connection worked well previously, but now it's a coin toss whether it will or not. This change coincided with the update. The auto-rotation has also become substantially slower. I have tried reinstalling the firmware, resetting the phone, rebooting, removing battery and SIM card, to no avail.
I am very happy for Nokia to be updating the firmware for a phone that came out a while ago, so this is just constructive criticism. I am overall happy with the phone, and all the improvements are very welcome. The main issue I had been experiencing was random crashing of the browser, and occasional random reboot from the phone.
found a terminal program and ran the dmesg command. I dont know much about android, but everytime this shows up in the dmesg output "qtouch_force_reset:forcing HW reset" it corrosponds to a time my phone randomly reboots.
View 1 Replies View RelatedToday my JB'd 3G on 3.1.2 went into a funky state and I attempted to reboot. Since then I've been stuck on the Apple logo at start up and nothing.
So, i put the phone in DFU mode and Itunes 9 is giving me the option to "Update & Restore", HOWEVER, I dont want to do this because I want to stay on 3.1.2 for obvious reasons. I also have been reading stuff about SHSH but I have no clue what this is so one can assume I never did anything prior regarding SHSH.
When itunes has the pop up on the screen saying "update and restore" can I hold "shift and click "update&restore" to choose a 312 ipsw, or is that option only available if restoring without being in DFU mode.
I have a red star on the "Software updates" icon on my BB Torch screen. When I click on it, I get the information "Version 6.0 Bundle 2391. Perform Update". But when I go to update, I get the message "This update includes enhancements to your Blackberry Device Software. If you download it over the wirlesss network, charges may apply." hat is this update and do I need it and why are there charges?

My Curve 9380 is emitting a noise like if it's the processer that's continually running even after switching it off. I've Rebooted it and the noise is gone now. Any Idea what might cause this to happen?

But when I try to connect it to Philips Fidelio E5 I only get static noise.Can it be the APTX? Is there a way to turn that off?The Philips Fidelio works perfect with many other devices. View 2 Replies View RelatedI bought my Z2 in September and after 3 weeks the right earbud of my noise cancelling headset provided with the phone stopped working 100% of the time. By moving the jack connection it would come and go. This did NOT happen with my third party earphones and when trying in the Three store I bought the device in, my suspect noise cancelling phones worked with the Z2 on display OK.
My phone was sent in first time in end of Sept/start of Oct and after I got it back the issue remained and the service log showed only a flashing of the software happened.
I then contacted Sony Xperia support again to complain and was told all I could do was return the phone AGAIN to check the QA process used.
This happened and I returned the phone again. I received the phone back today and the issue still persists! Again no hardware changes made.
When I plug in my noise cancelling earphones my tablet thinks a mic has been plugged in and earphones don't work.? I've been thru sound settings and can find nothing..
