Coming from a BlackBerry Z10 to the M9 I am missing a few features that the BlackBerry had.
One in particular is the option to be in vibrate mode for all apps but phone calls will vibrate and have a tone.
I want to know that how a person can stop vibration when phone is ringing on silent mode..when there is only vibration no ring tone...just want to stop that vibration either on silent mode..

Is there a way to tell the iPhone to "hold my messages" until I hang up?

When I get a call the following things are happening: My phone will NOT ring, it will not show up as a missed call in the call logs, and lastly the only way I even know I received the call is if the caller leaves a voicemail. This all started about 3 weeks ago and was not doing this when I first activated the phone in December 2014. This is unacceptable and cannot continue to happen because I use this phone for business and personal use.
I want to make it clear that this does not happen with every phone call I receive. What I can do to stop it.
All of a sudden, I see voicemails on my phone but the S5 will not ring when someone calls. I have the volume up.

I have done everything, form checking the soung a million times, to restarted it from itunes,and restarted withot icloud copy, and still doesn´t work. how to reach an apple support? the is no such thing as world warranty if you live in argentina as I do and online this is the only way to write something.

I run a business from my personal phone. I have people calling in a few times a day to order products, but I also text on it all day. I keep it on silent because I text alot and I don't want it to drain my battery and be annoying all day on ringer or vibrate. View 6 Replies View RelatedThis is happening often. When I have an incoming call the call screen appears and phone rings. I go to answer by dragging the icon to the green answer icon and nothing happens. The phone continues to ring. Trying to drag to the red ignore call icon has the same result. Eventually the caller gets sent to voicemail, but the phone remains locked in this state and needs to be rebooted before it is operational again. I thought it was related to teh phone being in a lockscreen state, but it now appears to be random. I have contacted Google and they said they have not heard of this issue before. Essentially it is unusuable as a phone.

Tests today also showed that when I put it in Silent/Vibrate mode it doesn't vibrate when receiving calls either.However when I select Silent/Vibrate mode it does the little vibrate feedback so its not like the vibrate feature doesn't work at all.
Whenever a call. Comes immediately becomes missed call in single ring though I try to attend.

This is a new problem that I have been having. It is with a blackberry curve. I will make an outgoing call and it will say connected, but there is no ring. When the person i am calling picks up i can hear them. I am not sure if I switched a setting?

I have checked the side button and that's not the problem. I get no sounds with incomming calls or when i receive texts or emails. My phone does vibrate. There is sound when music is playing. I've check all of the settings in 'calls' and 'phone'.

My iPhone 4 has suddenly stopped ringing when someone calls/texts. Its not on mute. When I press the volume buttons & the mute button noting happens - no display on the screen to show they are responding.
My son has some apps on my phone & there is no sound coming out of those either. But if I go into settings & change ringtone I can hear the different ring tones. Also if I plug in headphones I can listen to music.
I have been docking my phone into speakers lately & noticed that its vibrated a couple of times when I have done this.
I have turned it on & off several times, and taken out sim, to no avail.
Haven't tried resetting it, as wasn't sure if I would lose my contacts/music etc?
