When I'm using the browser or facebook, if anyone calls, the phone doesn't ring and send the incomning call to the voice mail. I guess this has something to do with the configuration of incoming calls (sure there's an option to stop the calls or not while online), but where the f&&k is this option to priorize incoming calls, so my BlackBerry has any use as a phone??

I was wondering if you guys have it too if you guys are with Telus. I really thought that they fixed the network and everything was fine. Reply back on suggestions on what I should do, because I already called technical support and they said they're in the process of fixing it.

Already did a hard reset, changed ringer phone, turned on and off vibration, listened to music through Itunes - all works except ringing when receiving a call. Also no click sound when turning off.

It just sits there with Set ring tones/Alerts highlighted but doing nothing? It used to work ok and I have used it to change and set ring tones in the past but now nothing happens. View 4 Replies View RelatedI've just bought a Storm 2 and I am not happy at all.I thought Blackberry would market & sell a product after have been well tested and ready to go.My Storm2 does not have anything installed just the stuff which came with the smartphone. By other way, my Blackberry does not have any service running: Email, Internet, any other apps. I just have been used to call and get incoming calls and to synchronize with Outlook.
1. The problem 1. is that very often my calls (in or out) are interrupted. I loose the signal, with no one other advise or signal. Suddenly I don't hear anything anymore.
2. The problem 2. is that during calls I often get OS restart. Suddenly during a voice comm the phone turns off and restart. When it turns on again, alone, he gives the following message:
"Uncaught Exception: Missing Resource Net.Rim.Device.Apps.Internal.Bis.Resource.BISClient"
Frequently - typically once a day - I synchronize the Storm 2 and consequently get it online updated.This is stopping me to use my new phone. Keep using my old iPhone and start thinking that using Desire or iPhone would be much better.

View 7 Replies View RelatedWhen I get a call the following things are happening: My phone will NOT ring, it will not show up as a missed call in the call logs, and lastly the only way I even know I received the call is if the caller leaves a voicemail. This all started about 3 weeks ago and was not doing this when I first activated the phone in December 2014. I have checked the side button and that's not the problem. I get no sounds with incomming calls or when i receive texts or emails. My phone does vibrate. There is sound when music is playing. I've check all of the settings in 'calls' and 'phone'.

My iPhone 4 has suddenly stopped ringing when someone calls/texts. Its not on mute. When I press the volume buttons & the mute button noting happens - no display on the screen to show they are responding.
My son has some apps on my phone & there is no sound coming out of those either. But if I go into settings & change ringtone I can hear the different ring tones. Also if I plug in headphones I can listen to music.
I have been docking my phone into speakers lately & noticed that its vibrated a couple of times when I have done this.
I have turned it on & off several times, and taken out sim, to no avail.
Haven't tried resetting it, as wasn't sure if I would lose my contacts/music etc?

View 7 Replies View RelatedI am a new EVO user. I previously had a Blackberry and it had a Vibrate then Ring function on it, which allowed me to catch calls before the ringer kicked in. This was a great feature. I am not able set my phone to be on vibrate at certain times, as my schedule is not a set routine. I have looked for apps that would allow me to do this, without any luck. Someone suggested creating a ringtone and leave silence in the beginning, but all of the "custom ringtone apps" that I have tried, cannot do this.

BTW, it seems like people with software/firmware 039 has more issues with their phones, such as flickering and random reboot.
My 18 month old iPhone 4s has stopped ringing and only vibrating on incoming calls. I am sure this is not an isolated issue.Â

Some times when I an driving it rings even the signal is poor. Using iTunes the phone was backed up and restored to factory settings and then back my settings. All these have not worked.
