How can I set my phone to still ring/alert me for phone calls at night BUT not have all the other notifications (email,FaceBook, iMessage) on/off individually?

View 1 Replies View RelatedMy IPhone 5c stopped alerting me to text messages. I have gone into settings, went to sounds, scrolled down to messages & selected an alert tone. IPhone will only vibrate on texts, volume is turned up. It stopped ringing for phone calls too and will only vibrate.  It is super armored with an Otterbox and has not been dropped or broken.Â
I turned off vibrate. I have even went to Settings General and Reset the Phone totally.Â
Volume is turned up. Text and Ringtone for Calls was set in settings. It plays them fine when I choose them.Â
I have no more updates available for the phone   Update is current OS 7.1.2

Is there a way to have the iPhone set to ring at night without having to turn off all the notifications one by one? Forgive me for bringing the Blackberry into the conversation but it did have an option for phone only, as well as silent, vibrate, vibrate with sound and so on.

With the latest software update (V5.0.0.807), my Yahoo icon is gone. Cannot locate it.Also, after I perfomed the update, all of the preloaded and my downloaded ring tones are not recognized. States ""invalid ring tone selected, please make another selection" for every one.
Now my phone won't ring, or alert for SMS or email, or direct connect.Video camera also appears not to be functioning. Getting an error message of "Error Playing. device media processor is busy." when nothing else is running.
I need to silence my phone at night but allow emergency calls to ring through if necessary?

Coming from a BlackBerry Z10 to the M9 I am missing a few features that the BlackBerry had.
One in particular is the option to be in vibrate mode for all apps but phone calls will vibrate and have a tone.
When I get a call the following things are happening: My phone will NOT ring, it will not show up as a missed call in the call logs, and lastly the only way I even know I received the call is if the caller leaves a voicemail. This all started about 3 weeks ago and was not doing this when I first activated the phone in December 2014. This is unacceptable and cannot continue to happen because I use this phone for business and personal use.
I want to make it clear that this does not happen with every phone call I receive. What I can do to stop it.
All of a sudden, I see voicemails on my phone but the S5 will not ring when someone calls. I have the volume up.

I keep it on silent because I text alot and I don't want it to drain my battery and be annoying all day on ringer or vibrate. View 1 Replies View RelatedThis is happening often. When I have an incoming call the call screen appears and phone rings. I go to answer by dragging the icon to the green answer icon and nothing happens. The phone continues to ring. Trying to drag to the red ignore call icon has the same result. Eventually the caller gets sent to voicemail, but the phone remains locked in this state and needs to be rebooted before it is operational again. I thought it was related to teh phone being in a lockscreen state, but it now appears to be random. I have contacted Google and they said they have not heard of this issue before. Essentially it is unusuable as a phone.

View 6 Replies View RelatedI have a Bold 9900. Of late, I have had a problem wherein I am unable to hear the phone's ring. The phone vibrates and I can see a call coming in. When I answer the call, I cant hear the person at the other end of the line, nor can the other person hear me. If I try ringing someone, I cant hear their phone ringing, but I get the message that we are connected, but cant have any conversation. When I do a full power off and restart, its all back to normal.

I have checked the side button and that's not the problem. I get no sounds with incomming calls or when i receive texts or emails. My phone does vibrate. There is sound when music is playing. I've check all of the settings in 'calls' and 'phone'.

My iPhone 4 has suddenly stopped ringing when someone calls/texts. Its not on mute. When I press the volume buttons & the mute button noting happens - no display on the screen to show they are responding.
My son has some apps on my phone & there is no sound coming out of those either. But if I go into settings & change ringtone I can hear the different ring tones. Also if I plug in headphones I can listen to music.
I have been docking my phone into speakers lately & noticed that its vibrated a couple of times when I have done this.
I have turned it on & off several times, and taken out sim, to no avail.
Haven't tried resetting it, as wasn't sure if I would lose my contacts/music etc?
