Is there a way to silence incoming night time calls and texts automatically on my Z3?Apple has Do not disturb and Samsung has blocking mode. I keep forgetting to manually put it on silent.

However, I'm noticing that for incoming texts and calls, it shows that the time received is 4 hours behind from when I've actually received it. The time on my phone is set and the time on outgoing texts and call are fine but incoming texts and calls are inaccurate. Is there any way to fix this?I live in Vancouver BC, Canada and my friend got this phone for me in Hong Kong. Does that affect anything.

I see that there is an option to create a customized profile, but I am not able to figure out how this might be accomplished.Anyone know how I can select "to receive only calls from 2 people" in my contact list? Should I give them a specific ring-tone and allow only that tone? Or is it possible to specifically select their names from the contact list?

My phone is a UK model.UK Vodafone have terminated the Passport service as of 1st November which means I now go on to NZ roaming which at �1.65/NZ$3.30 a minute is somewhat steep - I also pay that amount for the incoming call.I now need to block all incoming calls on my phone so as I am not tempted to answer calls at odd times of the day or night (quite hard when we are 13 hours ahead of UK and totally out of sync with them) and pay extortionate amounts of money BUT I need to leave the phone available to make and receive text messages.It is not as easy as to just get a NZ phone contract as this was my life line with friends and family in UK until my provider pulled the passport service so need to disable the phone I have.how to do this so as I can still send/receive text but NOT receive voice calls on my S2?

View 6 Replies View RelatedI have a blackberry curve 8330. The vibrate works well, but anytime I set the phone to normal or loud, it will not ring at all. I can hear the ringtones phone in the media section quite clearly but that's all. I have tried switching ringtones, I have checked all my settings, I have taken the battery out and put it back in, the phone is not on mute. I have even downloaded my own ringtone to the phone and that doesn't work either.

when I make a call it immediately says "call ended/closed" and when I enter *110# I get this message: Connections problems or invalid MMI-code.When I restart my phone, maybe repeting that process like 10 times then I can send/recieve calls/texts, but only for a brief moment.Before it wasn't as bad... I always got the Connection problem message after a I've made a phone call. But now it is bugging me 24/7.I have resetted my phone, I've even upgraded it. Still nothing.I have changed network operator. Still nothing.I have inserted my phone card into another phone and with that phone I have no problems.So I suspect it most be my phone's fault. When the phone answer's you can't hear the caller. And on the other end (if you're calling me) it still rings and then goes to vm. I did have the auto answer setting on before when you wave your hand over it. I thought that was it so I turned it off but it's still messed up. I'm stock on 4.4.4

I turned my phone off and it helped for a few calls and now the problem has returned. I have heard of USB ports going bad or something of that sort (not really familiar with it). Most phones allow you silence the ringer so the incoming call continues and you can still choose to answer it or leave it to go to through to the answer phone. Is that possible on this phone? Since I'm in the middle of a conversion I'd like to just reach into my pocket, hit one of the buttons and stop the ringtone/notification from playing. This doesn't seem to work out of the box.
