How can I silence an incoming call? RIght now all I can do is slide the red phone icon to the left and it goes into vmail.Is there are way to just silence the call on the touch screen without answering?

View 4 Replies View RelatedJust wondering how I silence an incoming call on the C903? I know I can press the hang up button but this immediately sends a busy signal to the person calling. Most phones allow you silence the ringer so the incoming call continues and you can still choose to answer it or leave it to go to through to the answer phone. Is that possible on this phone? I've search the manual and can't find anything. Any help would be appreciated.

Since I'm in the middle of a conversion I'd like to just reach into my pocket, hit one of the buttons and stop the ringtone/notification from playing. This doesn't seem to work out of the box. I'm a bit new to android phones (finally got fed up with iPhone) so I know there is probably an app or setting that will let me do this, but I can't find it.

My wife rang me yesterday. The answer screen lit up, but there was no ringing sound. I noticed that the icon for 'sound off' was showing at the top. I answered, we spoke and she rang off. The icon changed to 'sound on'!
I have tested this. I watch my phone and ring myself using other phones. As soon as the screen lights up with an incoming call the 'sound-off' icon appears and the phone does not ring. I can still accept the call and have a conversation. When I hang up, the icon returns to 'sound-on'.
I've cracked it. I have an app called Extreme Call Blocker which has just had an update. It appears that this was causing the problem. I turned off the app and Z2 rang perfectly.

i have xperia sk17i when i switch off and on its ringing for incoming calls then its not ringing to any incoming calls and messages also.Its is normal mode only not in silent or vibrate mode and ringing volume olso full. incoming call is showing on screen but also ringing is not coming.
