Xperia X8 :: Changing Direction Of Incoming Call Indicator?
Feb 25, 2011
Can you change the direction that you move the indicator to answer an incoming call? My phone is set so that you move the indicator to the left to answer a call. I would like to move it to the right.
Was just wondering if its possible to mute the incoming call ring without rejecting the call? I have seen that feature in some htc phones and tried on my phone but it didnt work.
I was facing the problem of contacts & call log after updating the 2.1(multitouch update). My call log doesn't record the incoming, outgoing and missed call. Sometimes it records and sometimes it doesn't.
Whenever a call comes in while I am speaking on the phone, the current call automatically cuts off and the new call starts immediately. I have checked the call settings but doesn't seem to be anything there that can work. How do I prevent this?
How can I silence an incoming call? RIght now all I can do is slide the red phone icon to the left and it goes into vmail. Is there are way to just silence the call on the touch screen without answering?
Perhaps stupid but in android 1.6 together with the wifi and gps there was a icon to select the sound on/off/vibration know after update to 2.1 i can't find a fast way to change de sound to off or vibration execpt via the setting menu. Is there a widget or perhaps a link so you can put it on one of the screens.
My wife rang me yesterday. The answer screen lit up, but there was no ringing sound. I noticed that the icon for 'sound off' was showing at the top. I answered, we spoke and she rang off. The icon changed to 'sound on'!
I have tested this. I watch my phone and ring myself using other phones. As soon as the screen lights up with an incoming call the 'sound-off' icon appears and the phone does not ring. I can still accept the call and have a conversation. When I hang up, the icon returns to 'sound-on'.
I've cracked it. I have an app called Extreme Call Blocker which has just had an update. It appears that this was causing the problem. I turned off the app and Z2 rang perfectly.
I got it from one year, without problems. From 2-3 months a got this problem, when someone call (but not everytime) me the device is restarting it self. I reinstalled the firmware several times, but it's still the same. The device is R800i, Android version 2.3.4, Buid number 4.0.2.A0.42, Rooted.
Early today it started acting strange.. it rang by itself without anyone calling and with no mp3 playing. I tried turning it off and then after 5 mins, it happened again.. funny phone. Strangest thing is.. the music playing is not even my default ringtone..
my xperia mini pro (built 4.0.2.A.0.62) doesn't play ringtone on incoming call (sometimes it plays only 2 seconds), all sound set correctly (not in silent mode), I tried to call from another phone, there was incoming call but no sound, I can answer it, everything is fine only no ringtone sound. Any solution?
When listening to my music and an incoming call comes in, you cant hear the ringtone in my headset. The only time you hear it is when you press the button to accept the call for about 1 second.
i have a problem with my gps the arrow is pointing to a other direction not the direction i'm pointing my phone to in google mape i dont know if its a hardware issue or what
Phone doesnt ring or set of tone when texts come in anymore. I push the volume button and everything stays quiet, the volume bar now says incoming call volume for some reason too. Its not in silent mode either.
I am linked to the company Exchange Server. The phone successfully updates when changes are made on my PC, but changes made on my phone are not going back up the line to Exchange. Can anyone help with suggestions on what to investigate. I do not have direct access to Exchange settings and would need to involve IT if suggestions relate to server settings?
I have an Iphone 4 and I just changed my number. After changing it ( last weekend) my phone has not let me receive or send texts or calls. Also, when I go to message settings on my phone my old number is still there and idk how to put in my new one. I have already tried resetting network settings. but that hasn't worked....
My call log only shows the latest call to/from a contact/number. (If I had a missed call from someone, it won't show up after I've called them back). Is there anyway to change that so it will show multiple calls / missed calls from the same number?
new to the evo here. Is there a way to have the phone indicate that there a call in progress when I am on the home screen (and any other screen that is not the phone screen)? If i hit the home button durning a call only a small green phone on the top of the screen indicates that a call is still in progress. any app for this?
I know previous versions of the iPhone did not have this, but do the latest iPhones still not have a missed call indicator (like my old Droid) used to. why this useful feature is missing?
My missed call indicator will not go off. I have cleared the call logs, I have cleared the missed calls folder, you name it. I pulled the battery, not once but twice, and it is still there.
i've noticed that when i call someone who is engaged in call i can't recognize it as it's not like Nokia or any other Symbian Device that shows CALL WAITING to know that the other party has a call.
Wanted to know is this available on the new Torch OS 6?
I am using Nokia C2-01 Mobile.Recently I am obseving a New Identification Symbol on the Home Screen once the end party answers the Call.I have read the manual. But, I couldn't find it what is it or I might have missed.A part of that symbol looks as square root symbol and extended by another slant line and a horizontal line. The picture is shown in UnIdentifiedSymbol.JPG ?
Soo I could only find out how to do this on older phones (the options must have changed), but I have 2 gmail accounts set up on my Bold and I want to be able to differentiate emails from them without scolling up after I open the message. A color coding system would be ideal, where messages from one email would be a different color or something.
