i've noticed that when i call someone who is engaged in call i can't recognize it as it's not like Nokia or any other Symbian Device that shows CALL WAITING to know that the other party has a call.
Wanted to know is this available on the new Torch OS 6?
I am having a problem. My email indicator light won't go off. I have deleted all email messages from both folders and in fact deleted all messages from all folders and yet I still apparently have an email message that is unread.
I'm a bit annoyed that every time I get a call while in a call an attempt to answer it now asks me if I want to hang up or place the current call on hold, this is a great feature it's just poorly implemented, instead of skidding right to hold and up to hang up or left to ignore it forces me to slide right to answer then press what I want to do in a popup.
I was on a call. My call waiting function told me that another call was coming in, but it also ended my first call. How do I continue my first call when I receive notification of another call with call waiting?
1) when I receive a new call (waiting) while i am already in a call, the calling contact name is not appearing, its covered by the current call info !!!
2) during a normal call , if i get the mobile off then on my head ,sensor should get the display off again swiftly , its not the case at all, sometimes display keeps running, & sometimes it give a" black light" not turning off , this is not normal...
Is it possible to turn off both the new message indicator (red asterix) and the new message count?I would like no message indicators to appear on my blackberry home screen.
I've looked all over the web, my instruction manual, the index inside the phone, and in still cannot find the meaning of this symbol in the middle of my battery bar. From what I've seen on the internet, its as almost as if it does not exist. I would probably believe so if it was not for the fact that I am staring at it right now as I type this. I have had problems with the USB port on it before and I am pretty sure that has something to do with it. Also when Its plugged into the computer and the port and USB are finally working in unison, the computer says that it is malfunctioned.
In my Nokia 3120 classic mobile, the call waiting option is not working. If a new call comes while you're on a call, it shows the new call. But if I try to answer it, it shows some error.
I have a friend that just bought this BlackBerry Bold 9700 and the call waiting beep volume is so low he is missing his calls. He called blackberry, his provider and is getting nowhere they keep telling him to return the device for a new one and he did once but of course didn't fix this problem. They came out with a new download that was suppose to fix this problem but guess what it didn't.Blackberry doesn't seem to care about this problem but you bet if it was their buisness calls they was missing they'd fix it faster.Anyone no of any new News on this? Just switched to a HTC One dual sim 802d from iphone 5 a few weeks back. One issue I'm facing with the One is the call waiting notification beep volume level is too low. Most of the times, when I'm on a call and if someone else calls my no. I don't even come to know that call waiting was activated as the notification beep volume is just plain too low.
Its okay on speakerphone mode, but when I have the set next to my ear, I just can't hear that beep. Never had the issue with iphone 5 or my earlier Nokia's before the HTC one, on most of these the call waiting beep would be too darn loud and annoying, now its just way to low. Spoke to HTC Tech Support and the guy asked to me increase the Ring volume to max and see if that works, but that too made no difference.
Just updated to Android 4.4.2 a few days back and Sense 5.5
I have been on the phone with Verizon 3 times. They tell me my call waiting is turned off on their end, as I requested, but it's still interrupting me daily. Is there a way to turn it off on the phone?
Ive just got a new bold 9900, and i have set up call waiting, but cant seem to set an alert for it. So i still dont know when someone else is trying to get through.
I'm having prpblems with imessage it just won't activate, I've tried everything turning it on and off, rebooting the phone many times, waitning 24 hours to try again and I keep getting the waiting for activation message, what can I do?
When I make calls if the person I call is buzy talking with third person its suppose shows "call waiting" on my phone right? but Nokia 5800 XpressMusic never shows this msg. Is it the phone software like that or I need to setup something on it?
I am trying to set up call waiting on my Galaxy 6. I followed the directions: Tap: Phone, More, Settings, More Settings. I am supposed to see a Call Waiting choice at this point, but all I see are choices for TTY mode and hearing aids.
I am using my Samsung Galaxy S5 (Verizon) for my work and I recently noticed a flaw in the phone. Here is the scenario:
1) Dial a phone number and begin your call # 1. 2) While keeping the call # 1 active, ask someone to give you a call. 3) Accept the incoming call # 2, and speak for a few seconds. 4) Disconnect or 'End' the call # 2. 5) This will also end the call # 1 and you have lost both calls.
Here is another scenario:
1) Dial a phone number and begin your call # 1. 2) While keeping the call # 1 active, ask someone to give you a call. 3) Accept the incoming call # 2, and speak for a few seconds. 4) SWAP the calls from #2 to #1 5) End the call #1. 6) This will also end the call # 2 and you have lost both calls.
BOTTOM LINE: Disconnecting any one call during call waiting will automatically disconnect the other call as well.
I have a Galaxy S5 and recently installed the lollipop update. Not sure if that is what is causing this issue or not since I can't be sure if it didn't begin immediately, but I now have a situation that when I am on a call and another call comes in (call waiting), both calls drop without me touching a button or accepting the incoming call.
