Does anyone know if Blackberry has a call-waiting app similar to "Feel It" but with an audible ring tone instead of just vibrating?

I have tried everything I know to find a ring tone which lasts long enough to get the phone out of my pocket with no success - whatever ring tone I select ends in under 3 10 secs and then registers as a missed call. I called O2 and was told to look on the blackberry site - where it seems to indicate that it's down to O2 to adjust this feature.

So the 'Normal' profile of my 9700 (Phone) is set up to play ALWAYS simply because it is on my desk in the office, it is not in the holster, and I want to hear when it rings.
I also have a ring tone that I downloaded (not the default).I noticed that when the phone is in the holster and it rings, as soon as I take it out from the holster the ring tonne changes from the one I set up to the default AT&T ring tone.

View 3 Replies View RelatedI have a BB Curve 8530 and I have an icon on my home screen that I cannot figure out. It looks similar to the icon used for missed call or placed call except it has a curved arrow next to it. It is a gold phone receiver and the arrow is bent at a 45 degree angle. (Kind of like a backwards check mark with an arrow head on the bottom). I have a suspicion that it has to do with call forwarding since I forwarded calls to different phone # the other day, however, I cancelled that. I have checked my messages folder, rebooted, pulled battery, done an update, etc. Nothing works. I looked through the manual and it doesn't show the icon.

View 2 Replies View RelatedI have the N86 8MP, I can't fault the phone other than the ring tone problem that I have tried to live with from when I got the phone in December. I don't know if anybody else has had this problem or its just me, but when my phone rings the ring tone slows down like a broken record and then speeds up and slows down again. Whatever I chose to be my ring tone either one from the phone or one I have put on it, it still has this problem. The funny thing is you can play the songs or ring tone's and they play normaly its only when you set them as a ring tone does the problem occur.

I have following problems with my phone lumia 900
1- i can not put running call on hold to receive call on waiting.
2- i can not disconnect current call to answer call on waiting.
I'm using a 5530 XM, latest firmware and my message tone just doesn't ring! I have 4500 messages in my inbox right nowand whenever i recieve a new message it comes into the inbox but the message tone doesn't ring. The settings in the profiles are correct, i've set the ringing tone and vibration for messages, but it still just doesn't ring or vibrate.

Now I am having a problem setting songs as ring tones, my previous phone was easy select song goto options, set as ring tone done. Now unless I am being thick I just cant seem to do this new X6 as east as that as far as I can tell you have to go via settings...Personal...Profiles...Options... Personalize.. Ringing Tone. Then yo have to scroll the WHOLE SONG LIST.
Also I have downloaded songs via Nokia and I can't seem to use those as a set ring tone(when I eventally find them!!!) says thay are locked. Somebody help me it is driving me up the flippin wall.
I have a Storm2 and my wife has a Tour. I need some help with hers. All of a sudden her phone ring tone has switched from "calypso" to "bb pro1". When you check her settings in profiles it still shows "calypso"! I have battery pulled and tried to change the tone to almost every other tone on the phone with no luck.

My wife has an iPhone 4 with which we've been having an issue. If it'd either plugged into Apple charger or a Sony digitasl radio/dock, whilst charging there are no message tones activated if a message is received.
Checked and there's nothing in any settings to indicate that it's a turn on/off feature. Last software update was about a week and a half ago, but this has been happening for 3 - 4 months, through a few updates now.
She doesn't want to do a restore, as it takes forever to get it back to the way she wants it. Seems like it shouldn't be that hard anyway, there's no reason it shouldn't work right just as it is.

When I connect my iPhone running 5.01 to my mac vie iTunes, and transfer contacts, it always duplicates the contacts when synching.So if I have a single John Doe entry on both my iPhone and Mac, I now get two.Sometimes it will make 3 or 4 copies.I want to: copy my contact list from my iPhone TO my Mac, and update existing entries on my mac, and add new ones that are on my iPhone and not on the Mac, andtransfer contacts from Mac to iPhone that are new to the iPhone Basically,I have to separate contact lists that I dont want to mix or mesh entirely, and I also want to stop them from duplicating.The User Manual does not address keeping them from duplicating.

I'm a bit annoyed that every time I get a call while in a call an attempt to answer it now asks me if I want to hang up or place the current call on hold, this is a great feature it's just poorly implemented, instead of skidding right to hold and up to hang up or left to ignore it forces me to slide right to answer then press what I want to do in a popup.
