Sep 2, 2011When leaving a voicemail for someone, often times they call right back while I am leaving the voicemail. I curently only get the option to answer the incoming call or ignore it. Is there a way to disconnect from the first call and answer the incoming call? Right now I have to "ignore" the incoming call, then "end call" that I am on and then call the person back again -or- "answer" the incoming call and leave the voicemail hanging. Seems there would be an option to end current call and then (or in the same action) answer the incoming call.

Jul 31, 2010Everyone wants to know how to conference two calls; my user wants to know how to take the second call and end the first call. Go figure.Her first Curve enabled her to choose, when a second call arrived, whether to put the first caller on hold or end the first call.
Her 8330 doesn't - it has no menu button choice for "Hold/End" in order to take the second call. Also, choosing the Send button appears to end the first call, but after ending the second call, the first call calls back!
What are we missing? Is it Sprint, is it the Curve, or is it us? How do you end the first call when a second call comes in?

Jan 26, 2010a buddy of mine is on verizon and NOT on a blackberry, I know what the crap is wrong with him right? Anywho, he has something set up that when he gets a phone call and doesn't want to answer it he just hits ignore and has it set up that it will automatically send a text message to that number saying "i'm in a meeting I will call you back" is this possible to set up with a Blackberry Curve 8330 on Sprint? Feb 21, 2010My data port on my 3 month old 8330 died and Sprint gave me a new one today. The contacts were transferred at the store - but after I restored from my DM backup done one week ago - none of my other settings were restored. What did I do wrong or what have I missed? Sprint rep told me the backup restore would get my new 8330 back to being just like the old one - but it's not.I want to get my email settings, apps, ring tones, wallpapers etc, back. I don't want to have to create everything over again when I have a good backup.

Mar 12, 2010I have two Blackberry 8330's here. One is a 8330 and the other is a 8330m. The 8330m receives MMS pictures embedded and the 8330 receives an SMS with a link to look at the picture online.I know this isn't new but I haven't been able to find any solution to this if there even is one.
One thing I found is that somewhere it was said that the two phones receive different types of Service books depending on the model.Now, maybe this is a stupid question but I am asking it anyways .Can I somehow copy the MMS service book from the 8330m and put in on my older 8330 ? If it's possible, will this fix the MMS as an SMS link problem ?

Feb 23, 2010I bought a Plantronics 855 headset/stereo headset can't get it to work in a2db mode with my TP2. I can pair to it but my phone only sees it as a hands free headset. Feb 17, 2011About the upcoming devices all featuring touchscreens, how about adding touchscreen enable/disable option ?For example, my company operates gas stations so I work with liquid hydrocarbons (gas, biodiesel, motor oil) and most of the time during the day I use the trackpad for phone calls and work apps like DocsToGo or BBM instead of a touchscreen because of its functionality and well, it won't become a mess if my hands are a little dirty, just like the touchscreen would. But during the night, hanging out with my friends or family, when sharing videos and photos, I'd love it if my BB 9700 running OS6 had a touchscreen (that's why I'd buy a Bold with a touchscreen), so I could have better media playing and internet browsing experience.Also, I've heard smartphone processors render faster when they are not handling touchscreens, so disabling it could give a merely functional experience while working (which is what most working people love about BlackBerry devices) and would save some battery life as well. Still, you could get the full social and media experience(which is what RIM is aiming at too with the upcoming devices) anytime by enabling it again.
