I don't know what it is but while using Here Drive for navigation, the phone has rebooted both times. The 2nd time, Here Drive act like it's starting up for the first time, settings, downloading maps etc.
I've been browsing endless forums for the past 4 days looking for drivers on this phone to find absolutely nothing. I've downloaded PC Studio 3 and 6, and Vista still won't recognize my phone. Mounting and data transfers work, but I want to tether my phone. Anyone have drivers they could send me please, or a link t download it.
I just upgraded from an S3 to an S5 a few days ago and I'm loving it so far. One thing that's bugging me though is that whenever I'm using my phone as an actual phone (Who actually makes phone calls anymore, right?!) there is an annoying buzzing/rattling/almost kind of like distortion) when the person is talking to me. It usually goes away if I turn the volume almost all the way down, but this is obviously not a practical option since I'm not always making phone calls in a dead silent room.
The speaker phone works fine. This only happens when I'm using the earpiece. Is this normal? Is it related to the camera autofocus sensor rattle? Are the sound vibrations from a person's voice enough to set off the rattle? It's really annoying as I tend to make phone calls a lot and I don't like using speaker phone or a headset. This was never an issue on my S3.
Searching the internet and some say that it is a format issue and I should buy a converter, it is not a format issue since the same file will play on the network drive but not on the S5 network card.
I ahave just spoken to a support agent at Samsung and I am told that there is no driver available for this phone. Doen anyone have any suggestions other than returning the phone?
I'm trying to use QuickLink Mobile Phone Book on a Dell Vostro 200 desktop running Windows XP. I can't seem to load the drivers from the install disk. The installation wizard can't find the drivers. Has anybody run into this problem?
I recently got the Samsung Impact from Bell Canada and I've been trying to use Samsung New PC Studio to back it up. The problem is Windows XP won't find the proper drivers for it. The Samsung website says to point the Hardware Wizard to folder '1' in the PC Studio folder for the USB driver for SAMSUNG CDMA Technologies but it's not finding the proper drivers.Has anyone had any luck doing a back up for this phone? I can't find anything online at all.
I have a Samsung Hue 2 tethered as a modem through Alltel (now Verizon). It worked fine with Windows XP, but not with Windows 7. I called Samsung and was told that a Win 7 driver does not exist yet. This phone is still under contract so I cannot switch it for a different brand. Great, the only computer I could buy now is Win 7, 64 bit.
I've used Amplify to deal with wakelocks, alarms and services. Everything seems to be in order as I configured it. But yet I see awake time in Batterbatterystats. Which process is causing the awake time?
Ive found several devices or apps that actually block Texting emailing even calls for phones in motion. But they all seem to work with Droid or every other phone besides Apple!? Does anyone know of a device or app that actually BLOCKs a driver from texting while driving.
Whenever I connect a 3.5mm cord to my phone I get the message, "Hi, to get started please go to google app settings on your phone, which is now locked. Here's how, go to your google app settings, choose voice, and under hands free turn the wireless headsets option on."
This message plays constantly, it plays over the audio I'm trying to listen to and when I unplug the headphone cord from the jack it keeps playing through the phone speakers.
I don't have a wireless headset, I'm just trying to use a 3.5mm cord to connect to a car stereo. I've tried 4 or 5 different cables and they all do the same thing. I can sometimes listen to audio through the headphone jack without getting the message but if the cord gets moved around at all it will start in with the message again. It will also start a google search for no reason when there are headphones plugged in.
Sometimes I unplug the headphone jack and plug it back in when I'm trying to use it but when you unplug the headphones, it lowers the volume to a "safe listening level" and I get a message when I try to raise it. Again, I'm not using headphones, just trying to connect to a car stereo.
This has been going on since I bought the phone just after it was released. I was hoping it would stop with lollipop but it didn't. The message used to say something different / shorter, but it's still a louid / annoying message that drowns out my podcasts.
need some help with this samsung slash sph-m310 phone.I bought the Samsung 20pin data cable, but WinXP won't recognize the phone. Searched for USB drivers for this phone and downloaded some software from Samsung called Samung PC Studio 3, also tried studio 2. They had usb drivers but doesn't look like any of them helped. Then I was looking in the forums here http://www.howardforums.com/showthread.php?t=1434738 and saw someone said to type ##7678# and enter V-I-R-G-I-N into the phone, that there was a data screen to allow data transfers. I did enter this into my phone, but nothing happened. Wrong code it said. Tried some other numbers eventually the phone just rebooted and then shut off. Was worried i locked the phone, I hit end and the phone works fine now. whew!So please help, what is this screen ##7678# on my phone? And did I screw it up? and is there a usb driver for the m310 phone?
texting adds country code causing failed messages and I keep failing. I have removed assisted calling. This is a galaxy s6 edge from verizon and i am now in Germany. I am using telekom network.
The memory on my phone's memory card was almost full. So, one day, I decided to copy some files from my phone to my computer. I connected my phone to my computer with a usb cabe, and my pc was able to detect the memory card and open files. However, whenever I try to copy files onto my pc, it gets 3/4 of the way completed copying and then the error message for an I/O error appears. Sometimes, it also says "the wrong diskette is in the drive".So then, I tried taking my memory card out of my phone (micro sd card) and plugged it into my computer (which has a built-in micro sd card port) and for some reason, it isn't able to detect the card and all of my pc's disk drives "disconnect" and I can't see them in "My Computer". I have to restart to get the ports working again.Flash Drives and other SD cards work, just not my phone's.So in conclusion, some problem with my phone or computer is causing an error that doesn't allow me to copy/move files. (I am running windows vista and my phone is the Samsung Memoir btw) Any help would be GREATLY appreciated.
How can I backup photos to a USB drive from a samsung galaxy s6? I have a micro USB to USB A adapter, but what is the process / app for backing up my photos and vids from the phone to a USB drive.
I'm on my 3rd new Torch & this latest one rattles when I'm on a phone call. It sounds like when someone has the volume too high & the person on the other end is shouting but I don't have the volume very high at all & can still hear the noise. It doesn't sound this way on speakerphone, only when I hold the phone to my ear.

My phone has a muffled rattle inside it. My other phones don't do that. I thought it might be the power button. When I remove the case it seems quite loose even though it appears to be attached securely.
I talked to Verizon they sent me 2 refurb phones that both did it. We got Motorola on the call and they wanted to ship my phone back for repair but I'd have no phone so that wasn't an option. The local manager at the corp. store near me let me get a brand new one. He had never heard of it but it took us 3 brand new phones before we got one that didn't rattle. Even the floor model rattled as well.Yes I know the phone works and camera.
I've purchased my Galaxy S6 (SM-G920F) a month earlier. It has updated to Lollipop 5.1.1 15 days before. Yesterday, I bought a OTG cable but it can't read 64GB flash drive. However, it can read all 2 of my 32GB flash drives.
Why: 1. it is not reading 64GB flash drive? 2. what to do to read 64GB, 128GB or more storage via OTG cable?
