Sep 14, 2015I have been traveling for 8 weeks and have hundreds of photos and videos on my s5 internal memory. Unfortunately I went swimming with my phone. I plan on buying another s5. Is there any way of transferring the internal memory module to a new phone and hoping that it's not also water damaged? I really want the photos from my trip. I am confident repairing phones.

Windows gave me an alert saying that the phone should be analysed because of a faulty file system. I ignored this message. Jun 22, 2010I have a C902 that has just started to refuse to power up. It hasn't been modified or reflashed since new. I've removed the battery, SIM and memory card and then reinstalled the battery. On pressing power on, the phone vibrates briefly and then the blue shutter button on the side lights up. That is all it will do. It did complain of a memory issue just before. I have downloaded the Sony Update Service program and it says than an update is available. However, I really need to save the internal phone memory contents (i.e. phone contacts and text messages) as this process will wipe it clean. Sony's PC Suite won't connect to the phone as it refuses to power up. I'm hoping that someone knows of a utility that will connect to the phone like the Update Service program that will allow me to read the contacts and text messages directly from the phone memory. Is this possible? Is there another way, i.e. direct memory access. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Most programs do not recognize the LG 4 for some reason I read but don't remember. I am also not techy enough to root the phone. Jan 6, 2010I have an E75 for a few months now and I have a problem that totally confuses me: I constantly keep getting the System Message that my Internal Memory C: is full and that I need to either delete files or move them to the flash memory. Sometimes it also refuses to open emails, because of the lack of memory.
The sad part is that almost all of my data already is on the flash card, not on the internal drive. There's literally nothing left to delete from the internal memory. I also tried deleting my personal data from the web browser, but it didn't help much. I checked the data that is stored on the internal memory and it is about 18MB while the phone's file manager sais I have only about 2MB free memory left. 20 MB total memory size seems a little small to me, shouldn't it be 50MB?

Aug 30, 2010When I power on my N900 I get a notification message saying device storage format unsupported. Note: I don"t have a memory card, this is the Internal Memory Card. When I check (settings, memory) It says memory card corrupt 1.86GB available. When I check File Manager, It says no files/folders. To me this is a no brainer, most of us have 16 or 32gig cards, I would be more than happy to set aside some space so the phone could run better. Sep 4, 2012When you start maps after having done a backup with the internal file manager, the GPS satellite dish symbol doesn't show up. Maps is not finding any route after showing the location based on UMTS. Although everythings looks ok in maps (you cannot see the missing GPS symbol), navigation will not work. Maps shows always the same location (looks like frozen). I had this now two time in heavy traffic in Aachen an Baden-Baden until I figured out the root cause.. To resolve the situation you need to switch off and on the N8. It is a night mare when you cannot restart the N8 while driving, and you cannot stop on a major street.The bug is reproducable. I hope it gets fixed fast. It's a pitty that maps doesn't show any error warning when getting started about the missing GPS. The recent Belle refresh had no solution to the problem. The bug is with both maps 3.08 and 3.09. Never do an automatic backup when you want to use maps.

So I've read that I need to root my phone in order to try recover these, I've so far downloaded odin and ran the pda which passed. Then I put SUSuper I think on my internal storage and from this point my phone stopped following the tutorial.

Jun 22, 2011i own a 5800 and when i tried to access to the memory card through the file manager it says the card was corrupted. but when i inserted the card in a memory card reader, it works accept that i cant eject it and a pop-up window came out saying an error occured while ejecting the card. it is a 8Gb memory card. i found a solution similar to my situation but is there any other alternative ways that doesn't require me to download huge files?
