My girlfriend's N95 8Gb came to something of a nasty end over the weekend. No screen, no keyboard, camera unit's out, but, with a battery the lights still come on. The question is whether we can recover anything from the internal 8Gb flash memory. Any thoughts as to whether anything's salvageable and/or how to go about it? Has anybody been in the same position and succeeded in recovering any data?

Windows gave me an alert saying that the phone should be analysed because of a faulty file system. I ignored this message. I have now noticed that I can no longer save any data on the internal memory, on the microSd there is no problem. I have no idea how to solve this problem so any advice would be great.

View 7 Replies View RelatedI have an E75 for a few months now and I have a problem that totally confuses me: I constantly keep getting the System Message that my Internal Memory C: is full and that I need to either delete files or move them to the flash memory. Sometimes it also refuses to open emails, because of the lack of memory.
The sad part is that almost all of my data already is on the flash card, not on the internal drive. There's literally nothing left to delete from the internal memory. I also tried deleting my personal data from the web browser, but it didn't help much. I checked the data that is stored on the internal memory and it is about 18MB while the phone's file manager sais I have only about 2MB free memory left. 20 MB total memory size seems a little small to me, shouldn't it be 50MB?

View 8 Replies View RelatedWhen I power on my N900 I get a notification message saying device storage format unsupported. Note: I don"t have a memory card, this is the Internal Memory Card. When I check (settings, memory) It says memory card corrupt 1.86GB available. When I check File Manager, It says no files/folders. I tried flashing the firmware and emmc and it worked everything was back. But when I restart my phone same notification. When run mount/home/user/MyDocs via X-Terminal. In File Manager I can see N900 folder but in Settings/Memory is still says memory corrupt. When I restart phone everything does not work again. Can someone please assits me.

To me this is a no brainer, most of us have 16 or 32gig cards, I would be more than happy to set aside some space so the phone could run better. Most of the new flash cards these days are reasonably fast and could easily be used as a swap file place holder or reside some of the dormitory features.

I open details of Phone Memory and it says that Images take 5787 kb. I open image folder in it and theres nothing.
So what should i do ?
Does anyone have any tips or tricks to free up storage? My understanding is the phone has 512MB, however out of the box, maybe 60MB tops to install anything. I realize you can't expect the full 512, but having less than 100MB is pretty ridiculous.

I'm fine with purchasing so steps to acquire a movie for free aren't important. I bought a movie thru Google Play which worked great until I was in a rural area with poor signal and the video kept buffering. The problem is that each download takes memory from my phone and i dont know where to look and delete it and free my internal memory back.
My GS6 was at around 30% battery when I went to bed last night and this morning when I woke up was dead.
I plugged it into the factory fast charger and original cable, and although it gets warm to hot, it doesn't switch on or respond in any form.
The automatic backups seem to have only backed up to mid-Aug, and I have photos I would like to get off the phone from prior that date. Why the automatic backup didn't do them. A family member passed away and I have photos I would really like to have.
Is there an internal memory card, or are these memory chips attached to the board? I have the GS6 128GB edition..
