my battery doesn't even last a day regardeless of whether or not I have made a call, started happening this last week or two for no reason. Anything I can do? Not paying nokia loads for a problem they cause in designing it poorly (irreplaceable battery).

After restaring the phone it works fine. An even more annoying problem is that when this has happened my phone doesn't receive calls either. I've heard that people have tried to call me and it has rang normally but my phone doesn't show that someone has called me. It keeps telling me that certain programs are installed while they are not or if I want to reinstall them, I get a system error. One that I really want to have fixed is fMobi but I got to my total amount of downloads and I can still not get it back installed onto my phone. View 2 Replies View RelatedWhen i lock the phone with the slider on the right side, the screen used to go black (or any screensaver would go on, if activated).Suddenly, when locking the phone, nothing happens. the screen dimms a little bit, but it's still on. It doenst matter weather i activate any kind of screensaver, the display always stays on (the keys are locked, i also see the locked sign in the menu bar). When i restart the phone, nothing changes.Only when I take out the battery for a while, the screen saver comes back up again. Everything seems to be working fine, until the next restart. Then the same problem happens again.
Is this a known bug (couldn't find anything on goole)? Am I doing anything wrong? It's driving me really crazy to see my Display on all the time (I also don't want to take out the battery after every restart).I also have to say that this happens to me on FP1 and FP2, even on a 2nd phone.
the mail app sucks on nokia belle ...it just stops synchronising on my n8 after sometime...let it be auto or manual sync, it just doesnt work...it was working on anna for me...i have tried everything also tried not using the ovi server for synching mails...still doesnt work .i am using the gmail id ....it only works for sometime after i reboot my phone...and then again stops.nokia need an update?

I can connect to my WiFi network, yet after a while of inactivity the phone starts using 3G data again. I go into the WiFi networks and see that my network is listed as "Known" but not "Connected". I have to manually select it to re-connect.Power saving mode for WiFi is set to off.Is there a setting to automatically connect to any known WiFi network when in range? I am happy to manage battery life by manually turning ove WiFi when not needed.
