secondly,my cell phone is unable to even download stuff from any site

Mar 16, 2010I got my Blackberry Bold 9700 from AT&T about a month and a half ago, and recently I've been having problems opening texts. It'll say I have a new text and I'll go in my inbox to open it but when I click, it won't let me read it. It'll let me open the ones before it, but not the unread one. Even if I click the the menu button then "open" it still doesn't work.

Jan 25, 2010i've never had this problem until recently. i'll go to Internet's mobile site, perform search, etc. and when i go to click on the video, nothing happens. the browser doesn't open the media player at all. i've tried with my native browser and evn with opera mini, which ultimately requires the native browser anyway. i don't remember changing any particular settings on my browser so i couldn't imagine why i would have this issue. any help would be appreciated. just to reiterate, i don't even so much as an error message. nothing happens at all when i try to play the video. it just stays on the same page.

Jul 28, 2012Just upgraded from an N8 to the 808. All good but I am getting the unable to obtain licence message for downloaded programmes from the Iplayer. I have I installed the WMDRM DLA plug in but no joy. Checked my N8 and this is still able to acquire the licence.

Jul 27, 2012Main issue is that all attempts at downloading games/apps via the onboard "Store" app end up failing. Click on download, shows "downloading" briefly but almost immediately shows an error that download has failed. This happens with ALL apps in the Store.

Mar 17, 2010Lately, one touch of my power button causes it to open the profile menu, and then it restarts on it's own, without me holding it. Then it comes back on by itself too, like the power button is jammed...
When I pull the battery out, and leave it out for whatever length of time (I tried 10-20 min), as soon as the battery is back in, it turns itself on.As of the last few days, it has decided than when I place it on a table, or sometimes just getting moved around in my pocket, it wants to restart...
I do NOT want to send it back to manufacturer, as they will give me a $4 phone to use, and still charge me data rates and all that for 8 weeks.... But is there a fix for this, like a program or something that alters what the power button does? Can I disable the power button at all? Other than this issue, my phone is awesome! And if there IS a way of disabling, is there a way I can shut down not using this button, like if my phone freezes or something, besides pulling the battery?

I have noticed that sometime, when I am in the call logs / browser / menu / messaging screen the screen freezes up. this happens randomly but i have noticed that it happens mostly when I try to unlock the keypad.I am able to move to other open apps while long pressing the home button on the phone but when i try to kill /exit from these apps (by pressing the back button), it gives be a message box as to whether i want to exit the app and when i press "yes", nothing happens.

I quite like this feature but want to ask.......can you edit these functions? For example, rather than go from General to Silent, I'd prefer be able to select 'Meeting' rather than "Silent'.

Now I have a really annoying bug: the menu key, sometimes, stops working and won't bring up the menu if pressed briefly, and won't bring up the task list either (when pressed long). Anyone experiencing this bug? The only way I found to make it work again is turn off and on again my phone... And the task list can't be found in menus, AFAIK. I could do that with my old 5800XM...
I bought my phone ONE WEEK ago... I really wouldn't like to format/reinstall already!

Nov 20, 2011I have noticed that I always have to select my home WiFi network when at home but I am (pretty) sure this used to happen automatically.Is it possible that the menu options have been changed during the update to Symbian Anna.I never managed to be offered the 1/2 update to Anna so maybe something is missing.I have 3 menu's under connectivity in WLAN
- Switch to WLAN
- Data use in home country (user manual says Data use in home network)
- Data use when abroad (not mentioned in User Manual)
