Nokia :: E73 Browser / Call Log / Menu / Messaging Screen / Apps Freezing Up Randomly
Jun 29, 2010Got a E73 from T-mobile last week. I have noticed that sometime, when I am in the call logs / browser / menu / messaging screen the screen freezes up. this happens randomly but i have noticed that it happens mostly when I try to unlock the keypad.I am able to move to other open apps while long pressing the home button on the phone but when i try to kill /exit from these apps (by pressing the back button), it gives be a message box as to whether i want to exit the app and when i press "yes", nothing happens.

Jul 2, 2010my Nokia Web Browser after the site is completely loaded the broswer goes into full screen view mode and doesn't get back to its normal mode making it impossible for me to exit it manually which makes me yurn off my phone and then exit. Douple tapping doesn't help I have tried that it zooms in the and zooms out nothing else.

Mar 4, 2011Basically, ever since I got my BB in Oct 2010, the BB browser has been working fine.But only recently I can't use it properly because its menu has randomly disappeared.What I mean is, is that there's that button you press to get the menu (the BB logo button) on BlackBerry. I press that on the browser and what that now does is that it makes my cursor vanish from the screen and it shows no menu on the browser.True, I can use the browser shortcuts (for example, R means refresh) but there are so many I have to remember and I don't want to do that. All I want is to press the menu button and for the menu to appear.I've restarted it, nothing happened.I do have another, faster browser (BOLT) but you can't watch videos on there.I use the BB browser to watch videos and also other things.Is there any way to fix this problem or can it be possible to delete and reinstall the BB browser?

The reply from support is simply update software, I can't see why I have to do all this, as apart from anything else I don't currently have a phone line for internet due to illegal BT sales activity! It is also suggested that I send phone off in a jiffy bag to be repaired if unsuccessful, and what do I do for a phone in the mean time?? Not only that they suggest that it will cost me if it is not a fault they cover.

When using my Edge or UC Browser I find that each time I press the BACK button on a page it sends me to the top of the screen I was previously on.
With my 920, and desktop browsers, when I press back it takes me to the location of the screen I was previously on. This is a huge inconvenience when the page I am browsing is long and I then need to scroll all the way back down to get to where I was before.
I also notice this to be the case on the Microsoft Sports app. The News app works properly but the Sports app, Edge, and UC Browser all exhibit this irritating trait.

I installed my backup to reinstall my contacts but I now have no browser and the instructions of register now from the Advance options does not work!!! It stays blank. My phone is working with calls and text but no Internet? It was working fine prior to OS update. How do I get my Internet back and my Browser?
I see all these great post for those on At&T and Verizon, but no one is listing any info to those users that are not paying 100.00 + bucks a month! Im in California and am using Cricket paying only 45.00 per month with unlimited text, calls, and internet. I paid $75.00 for the BB 9530 and $30.00 to flash. I surely dont want to pay another 30.00 to re-flash the phone just to get the internet back that was working fine prior to OS upgrade.
