Aug 3, 2011From day one the D3, i received on july 8th after placing a phone order, seemed to have really dim button backlight. Well after a couple weeks i went into a VZW store to purchase an extended battery and noticed that the D3 they have out on display has very bright buttons. I've been very busy at work so i finally got around to seeking some tech support and thy are sending me a CLNR to replace mine. I wished i had sought out tech support a couple weeks ago so i would be getting a new phone and not one someone else returned.

Motorola Droid 2 :: Back Button Quit Working?
Jul 30, 2011Having major trouble as of yesterday afternoon. Seems my touch Screen is on the frits. I noticed my back button didn't work all of a sudden, but the search and home and menu buttons all still work. and i could barely unlock my phone because a strip up from the back button wasn't working. I have done all i know to do at this point, pulled the battery twice, As bad as i hated to, i did a factory reset, which did increase the speed but i lost all of my customizations, and apps. I had 122 market apps and salvaged about 20 - 40 from the market, only 4 was paid. Anyways the problem still existed. IT came back for a few minutes after about an hour after the factory restore, and started working, then went away again. and didn't work again until i started typing this thread. I know it won't last though....
I'm out of warranty and i got shot down by calling verizon for a replacement, thought i might run by a store later to see what i can do. I want to hold out on an upgrade until next year when hopefully the droid 4 will have a keyboard and 3g . I hate to upgrade to a 3g phone this year when 4g is in my area now.

Feb 4, 2016Not sure if this is a Windows 10 Mobile problem or a Lumia 950 issue.
When using my Edge or UC Browser I find that each time I press the BACK button on a page it sends me to the top of the screen I was previously on.
With my 920, and desktop browsers, when I press back it takes me to the location of the screen I was previously on. This is a huge inconvenience when the page I am browsing is long and I then need to scroll all the way back down to get to where I was before.
I also notice this to be the case on the Microsoft Sports app. The News app works properly but the Sports app, Edge, and UC Browser all exhibit this irritating trait.

Jul 13, 2010I downloaded the blackberry desktop manager to my computer.. and connected my blackberry 8330. i went to the application loader to put more apps on, checked all of them and downloaded them to my bb, but i didnt know that it was gonna delete the ones i had there. So now i dont have the internet browser.. how can i get it back ? I already tried: Option> Advanced opotion> host routing table> register now; and it say "registration message sent!" and nothing happens. i dont have blackberry maps either.

Oct 23, 2011I upgraded my wife's phone finally to the new software release. She has been going along pretty good but just this morning, the internet browser won't open anymore and I get an error:
"The application browser (process com.android.browser) has stopped unexpectedly. Please try again"....."force close" button appears.
I also tried this in "safe mode" with the same error. I also tried with "wi-fi" on and "wi-fi" off. No difference.
Just writing this post, when the phone went to sleep and I tried to turn it back on.....it wouldn't do anything (not responding). Once it did turn on to the "locked screen" window, the screen would not unlock or even respond. A few minutes later, it decided to react.....still in safe mode, too.

Mar 16, 2012one widget I've always liked was a battery level indicator, usually a little picture of a battery showing the percent of remaining charge, like 49%, 87% or whatever. I've installed several of these on this phone, and none of them work. They freeze at whatever the battery level is at bootup.Installed Juice Defender. It's in "Balanced" mode, which is supposed to disconnect data flow when the screen is off. I hope it's working. On the JD setup screen, I tried to change to Customize, but the "Confirm" button doesn't respond. It appears to be working normally, though.Sometimes, the "bars" are turned off, until I make a call. Then when I dial, they suddenly light up.When I look at the battery activity, it shows "Browser" as using 19%! That's an awful lot, considering that it's not open. If that's what's really happening, is there some way to turn it off until I need to use it?

Aug 21, 2011My Droid 2 Global does this, too, so it doesn't seem to be specific to the D3, but if you've scrolled down a bit on a webpage, then you tap a link, the new page that you will navigate to will position itself approximately at the same position rather than starting you at the top.Give it a try on these forums. Go back to the topic list, scroll down a bit (maybe half way), then tap a link. More times than not, you will be placed roughly halfway down the new page, making you scroll up to read the page from the top.

Jul 5, 2012The bookmarks with ICS appear as tiny, hard-to-read icons with tiny, hard-to-read text on my Razr Maxx. I can't find a way to change the bookmarks from icons to pure text so that they are recognizable and usable. Seems like one of many features that is much worse with ICS than it was with GB. Is there a way to have the bookmarks appear as text-only? As an aside, is it only me, or is ICS a disappointment, with little to offer that makes learning a new OS worth the aggravation?
