Few days ago my n8 started playing up - doesn't recognize my sim card - or any other, if i take sim card out - phone worx just fine in offline profile , but as soon i put sim card in and try to change to general profile - it goes on and of i reseated phone in hope it will be fixed but no change?

a few months ago, as I put a newly bought 8gb micro sd in my n97 mini, on which I had copied all the folders from my previous micro sd, the audio player bugged: I couldn't refresh the music list anymore, and couldn't see the musics of the micro sd. The memory card was fine since there was no problem for pictures etc.Since then I tried everything... soft reset, hard reset, other memory cards, musics on the internal memory of the phone... my firmware's updated (v30.0.004), never used a hack or anything like that, all updates made from nokia suite.By the way, the message displayed when I refresh the musics from the audio player, it says (in French) Operation cancelled: file corrupt.

View 1 Replies View RelatedIt wasn't a huge problem before, bet phone isn't reading memory card and has started to reset it self. Lagging became much more active as well. I took it to shop which fix phones, So it reinstalled my 10V OS (I had installed it by my self) into 9.40V it is quite better, but phone lags a lot, restarts it self, memory card isn't working well too. Memory card is good, works on other devices, and I used it for lot of time before on this device.

I did not know my media files were saved on my SD card. I thought they were saved on my device.
In the options, under Memory, it says Media Card cannot be read. Verify that the memory card has been formatted.
First I took the memory SD mini card 8G out and put it back in.
Still same message.
So then I went to Format and formatted it...as it asked me to do.
Error message came up. Saying Format Failed.
However all my files are gone.
I am so mad that my blackberry told me to ensure it was formatted. Everything is gone off my BB.
Is there a way to recover this data?
I haven't backed up my BB before.
I have following problem:on my N97mini i have installed MfE and it works. But when I receive an email and i read it in outlook or OWA the "new Mail icon" on my N97mini doesn't disappear. It shows that I have a new email but when I click on it there is no new email.The icon only disappears when i reboot my N97mini.

View 6 Replies View Relatedi own a 5800 and when i tried to access to the memory card through the file manager it says the card was corrupted. but when i inserted the card in a memory card reader, it works accept that i cant eject it and a pop-up window came out saying an error occured while ejecting the card. it is a 8Gb memory card. i found a solution similar to my situation but is there any other alternative ways that doesn't require me to download huge files?

When going to file manager, seems it doesnt find memory card, even it is inserted.Then when removing memory card, phone works normally and not slow, fast. After restaring the phone it works fine. An even more annoying problem is that when this has happened my phone doesn't receive calls either. I've heard that people have tried to call me and it has rang normally but my phone doesn't show that someone has called me.
