IPhone :: Flash Doesn't Work With Apps Like Flash Light Or Heart Rate But Works Fine With Camera
May 10, 2012The flash works fine with the camera but doesn't work with any other app using the flash like flashlight or heart rate monitor. I tried downloading different apps or deleting the app and reinstalling rebooting the phone each time but the problem persists. Any suggestions? I upgraded to 5.1.1. The same

Oct 7, 2011I have problem with my X6-00 16GB primary camera. When I turn camera on, screen stays black, only this focusing white box and other symbols are visible on screen. But no picture. When I push "take picture button", then focusing box starts blinking and stays like this, until camera goes standby mode. Secondary camera, in front of the phone is working fine. Also I have a Flashlight program (Brightlight v1.0) on my phone and it doesn't turn camera flash on, like it should be.
I gave my phone to friend who reset phone to the factory settings. After that camera worked for a while, but one day it was again black. I have done a couple of times software reinstall with nokia ovi suite on my computer. After that camera works couple of days or only couple of hours and then goes black again. Software version is the newest for that phone, v32.0.002.

Feb 21, 2012since updating the sofware (knew I shouldn't have done that!) I can no longer dial people in the contacts by name, it is like the phone is searching a different contact list than before but I only have one contacts list.

Dec 23, 2011i am unable to make calls. When I try to make phone call it doesn't even try to make the call. I choose a name from the address book to call and nothing happens. After restaring the phone it works fine. An even more annoying problem is that when this has happened my phone doesn't receive calls either. I've heard that people have tried to call me and it has rang normally but my phone doesn't show that someone has called me. Otherwise the phone works fine so I newer know that it is in this "problem state" until I try to make a call.Software version is 025.007.240.02

Nov 9, 2012The flash light on my 808 goes on on its own frm time to time. Mainly it happens during SMS arrival. It goes on and stays on untill I switch it off by pushing slider down for few seconds. Accidental pressing of slider is excluded as it happens even when phone is laying on my desc. When I notice this I switch it off but it happened few times in the pocket and flash is draining battery.I just send few SMS and observe that flash goes on for a moment but switches off. I wander if flash is somehow related to notification of SMS or other messages?

The camera doesn't work. I open the camera application with both methods (button on side and icon in apps) but it does the red dot thing in the corner for about 4-6 seconds then disappears and applications tells me the app is running. I try to go to the app but it wont go on it.
Problem 2:
The green key, dialler and contacts icon on the home screen do not work at all. I have no way of opening my dialler as there is no option for it.
I updated my firmware to v40.0.005 last week. Please be aware the problems were both there BEFORE i made the update and are still here after the update.Is there any way of doing this without soft/hard resetting. Also, does soft/hard reset mean you lose the data in an app (eg your high scores in a game like bagatelle)?
