LG G4 :: Battery Stats Report - Phone App Listed As Higher Battery Consumer
Aug 18, 2015Since acquiring a G4 recently I've noticed something weird going on with the phone's battery stats report. For some reason the Phone App is always listed as the highest battery consumer, even in circumstances when the screen should definitely be at the top with upwards of 4 hours of SOT.
Here's a shot from today after being off a full charge for about 15 hours and 1.5 hours of SOT (a good chuck of this was overnight idle).
This is happening on every full recharge even after rebooting and full charging in an off state.
However, the GSam report looks much more normal and closer to what I would expect to see

Jan 6, 2010I have bought a brand new nokia 5800 just 3 weeks ago, it was working very well until now i used to listen music a lot and taking pictures and recording videos, but from past 2 days its like pain in the neck, the battery power decreases very fast, without even making calls or recording videos etc. i fully charged my phone last night and made a alarm to wake up but. when i wake up today what do i see that phone is turned off and no alram worked. when i tried to turn it on it didn't worked so then i put it on charging then it turns on. what do it do should i replace my battery or my whole phone.

Sep 15, 2011Is it me or does it seem that the battery graphic on the notification bar is not telling the true story? The phone (in settings) and widgets say 70% but the icon is in no way close to 3/4 full. It looks more like 90%. It always looks fuller then the battery truly is. I do understand that 70% can be anywhere between 70-79 but that's not close to what it shows on top. It's like Apple and the signal bars and how they showed higher then reality.

Jun 29, 2012I have an iphone 3gs and still have warranty on it. I don't talk on it much at all. I use the internet and text and listen to music. the most i use the internet is about 30-35minutes a day, sometimes less. I have everything turned off like Bluetooth and fetch data and even 3g. I can go probably 6 hours and do nothing to loose all of my battery. I literally watched my phone go from 90 to 79 in 30 min. just listening to music.

May 29, 2012I never had the battery drain problem with my iPhone 4S but recently over the past month at least my battery seems to have degraded abnormally quickly, not the battery drain some had, but as in its simply not holding as much charge anymore & I got it on Oct 26, 2011.. if anything I would guess its abound 82% of its total capacity ALREADY & going by Apple's battery tips on their site it should be at 80% total capacity after 400 charge/discharge cycles, im lucky to have gone past 140 of those at best (was trying to count then lost the count). I have always followed proper battery care tips, the once a month full charge/discharge, dont let it get hot, leave out of sun etc. I still have the regular warrenty till Oct 26, 2012, would Apple replace my battery for no charge? If so I would want to do this soon before the warrenty is up.. This is concerning after just over 6 months my battery has less capacity than my 3GS did after 1 year of use.. & im a light/moderate user.

Jun 19, 2010I face one problem today is that for cleaning my X10 i shutdown my phone and i remove the battery, on that time the battery is upto 85% charge .after a couple of second i reinsert the battery and reboot my phone. while rebooting it shows that please connect the charger the battery is low and it automatically shutdown. this is first time i am seeing likeproblem or ?. But all the phone if we remove the battery and reinsert ther is a little % will be discharged.

Dec 20, 2010I recently received my N8 (1-1.5 weeks ago) and have been having a lot of fun with it however my biggest gripe is that the battery would require charging far too soon (once or twice a day depending on use)I was a little dumbfounded as reviews have been praising the N8s battery life. However I thought perhaps my usage was a little more extreme than the common user/reviewer.
Until the other night, before bed, my battery indicator showed roughly 50% battery life; I had turned my widgets and apps off (my bluetooth and gps were also off the only thing on was my wifi)
I locked my screen, leaving the clock screensaver on, and proceeded to sleep not 4 hours later I awoke and wanted to check what time it was but my phone had shut off, the battery was drained!
This doesn't seem normal to me and I posed the question to the aforementioned blog and the replies I received also found the situation odd.I have proceeded with a test after charging my battery to full. This time I have insured everything is turned off, that is the: widgets are in offline mode; apps; wlan; gps; bluetooth; FM transmitter. I have left the clock screensaver on and am waiting to see how long the battery lasts.

It looks OK but although I was able to view status of battery in old version, currently either I couldn't find how or there is no such thing anymore. When I touch to battery symbol, it just tries to pull the dashboard down like Android but it doesn't show there.

Jan 12, 2012Recently, my Nokia N97 had water leaked into the phone while it was on. I had it in a friend's bag, and it sat at the very bottom, when his drink bottle leaked, causing half of the phone to be submerged for around 10 minutes, before we realized what had happened.
His own phone was also submerged, but he managed to get it working fine. Mine however, turned off, or seemed to go black in the screen, and had water filled up in most of it. Jan 28, 2011I have Nokia N97 Mini handset and I am facing problem in it with Battery Low error message, when ever I call someone or I receive any call.Battery works fine in case of standby mode, or even when I do SMS chat for whole day. Even if I listen to music for 10 to 12 hrs, the mobile works fine, no issue of battery low. But during that if I receive any call, then suddenly it displays the battery low error message and the mobile is switched off.I try to check everything of it. The mobile functions normal and in good condition in following cases
1. Wife Connectivity
2. Bluetooth data transfer
3. Sms chat for lets say 12 to 14 hrs.
4. Video play for 2 hrs.
5. Music plays for 10 to 12 hrs.
6. Clicking photos or recording Videos.
7. Browsing internet.
But it only falls down in case of Call. Either I receive call or make a call. I don't know how to Rectify this problem. I had once shown to Nokia customer care, but even after that the problem still remains.I even try factory restore settings and hard format of OS. But still no improvements.

Sep 13, 2011my Nokiaa 5800's battery started dying and then it started swelling up (!). I left the phone as usual on my computer table and when I woke up in the morning, the battery was dead and when I plugged in the charger, it started charging. Then after a few hours the phone shut off by itself and didn't turn on, no matter what I did (didn't even turn on when I plugged it into the charger) so I went to the Nokia store and bought a new battery ) exactly like my old one. I took out the memory card and SIM card and tried turning it on but it STILL didn't turn on -___-. I then took out the battery and lightly pushed the copper pins at the bottom (where part of the battery goes into) and then the phone turned on. I put on (or rather, taped back on ), the back cover and the phone turned off. I didn't turn off straight away but in a weird way. You know how, when you update the firmware, then it starts loading (loading bar) horizontally and then the phone screen turns white and some funky colored vertical lines appear? Well, that's what happened and how it turned off.

Mar 28, 2012Thought I's start ANOTHER thread on this topic as the other one a) had not official response, and b) slipped down the list.
Have now tried all different types of remedy for this fault Re-set at least a dozen times (pressing the power button for 15/20 secs) Factory re-set, then having to re-install all my apps
Still got a massive battery drain fault - Used to get 3 to 4 days out of it before Belle upgrade, now I'm lucky to get a day & a half and I switch the phone off at night when in bed.
What on earth is going on Nokia? Such as shame that a very good phone & platform is letting your long term customers down with such a severe battery drain.
Will be talking to vodafone later this week to get the phone looked at but I will expect the response that the phone will be sent away for testing and I will be without a phone for the duration.
Also, is it correct that by not updating to Belle can invalidate the warranty on the hand set?
