I have Nokia N97 Mini handset and I am facing problem in it with Battery Low error message, when ever I call someone or I receive any call.Battery works fine in case of standby mode, or even when I do SMS chat for whole day. Even if I listen to music for 10 to 12 hrs, the mobile works fine, no issue of battery low. But during that if I receive any call, then suddenly it displays the battery low error message and the mobile is switched off.I try to check everything of it. The mobile functions normal and in good condition in following cases
1. Wife Connectivity
2. Bluetooth data transfer
3. Sms chat for lets say 12 to 14 hrs.
4. Video play for 2 hrs.
5. Music plays for 10 to 12 hrs.
6. Clicking photos or recording Videos.
7. Browsing internet.
But it only falls down in case of Call. Either I receive call or make a call. I don't know how to Rectify this problem. I had once shown to Nokia customer care, but even after that the problem still remains.I even try factory restore settings and hard format of OS. But still no improvements.
After updating to FP2 the phone was working well but after some days each time i boot up the device it always says "System error"i tried to hard rest the device but that didn't work ,also i tried reinstalling the software via nokia suite but with no luck so: if i reflashed the phone myself will that void my warranty?
Im getting this problem since 2 days now. When I send a text message to anyone, I get an error saying ''Messaging: Feature Not Supported". After quite a few attempts the message finally is sent but I dont receive any delivery report even though I have enabled that option. And when I check the sent items or conversations, the recipient is totally someone else! I tried soft reset and the problem solved. But now it came up again. Soft resetting my phone every day is not an option.
I have been using my N8 for one year. I have not faced any problem so far except this one. For the last couple of days, Whenever I start to speak on the phone , in a few seconds time, call ends and I get same message."CONNECTION ERROR"
I tried to update my N8 to belle but an error message always appears cannot install software your phone is currently not compatible with the current software?
I have a noia lumia 710, and whenever I connect my windows phone , zune opens but then an error message prompts. " Connection error, Can't connect to your phone.Disconnect it, restart it, then try connecting again."I have tried all possible solutions.I try every steps suggested in that link.htmand also that link I could do the Certificate steps cause when I open certmgr.msc I don't see anywhere the Zune certificate.
I've got a Nokia N95 with the latest 35.0.002 firmware and a brand new genuine Nokia BL-5F battery. When I first got the battery I cycled it twice to calibrate the gauge as recommended. However, it shows 100% 7 bars until the battery is almost discharged, when it will drop about a bar every 10 minutes until it no longer switches on. This is quite annoying as I don't know how much battery I have left. I'd like it to stop lying to me and drop steadily according to how much charge is left. Also, if I discharge the battery a bit by, say, browing the web so the battery gauge is still showing full and then plug the charger in for a few seconds and unplug it again, it then shows me the true battery level by dropping a couple of bars. However, it will get "stuck" at this level until the charger is connected and disconnected again. It shows full for about two days of heavy usage - WiFi, 3G, GPS and all that, upon when the gauge drops. Is there a way to calibrate it better or should I flash the phone again? Or is the battery faulty?
my battery doesn't even last a day regardeless of whether or not I have made a call, started happening this last week or two for no reason. Anything I can do? Not paying nokia loads for a problem they cause in designing it poorly (irreplaceable battery).
is it possible to customize the sound for low battery notification? In my Nokia 700 the default sound is very quiet, so I notice too late when the battery is near exhaustion... Or I do not notice it at all.It would be even helpful to set the percentage of the capacity, when the notification beeps. In my previous Nokia 6233 the phone beeped in advance, enough for me to manage recharging. New Nokia 700 beeps too late...
Ever since I got my Nokia 2320 (which for some unknown reason is not listed on this site) back in December, it ran slow when I turned it on and took a few minutes (up to five) to what I call "recall the messages and remember it could send messages." But lately the time it takes to recall the messaging is longer and longer. A couple days ago it took me 27 hours. This time, its been 30. I read on another site about a guy who had this same message on this same phone and it had been 3 days and the problem had still not corrected itself. I want to know what is happening, why, and how to fix it. I called my carrier customer service and have been on the phone with them on and off for about a month about it. They have NO CLUE what it is.
I am facing the problem on my N95 8GB where the name of the message sender is not displayed. The phone number is displayed instead without the + sign but with the country code. I have checked that it is not stored as duplicate and its stored in the international format i.e. with the + sign and the country code. Also, only the options of Forward and Delete appear for such messages i.e. i am not able to Reply to the message. The point to be noted is that the name is displayed correctly when there is a incoming call from such a number. I had recently updated my firmware to latest version available with Nokia. I guess the problem has appeared after that.
I have about 5500 messages on my N97 and want to transfer them to N8 but when it try the phone switch and transfer them with Bluetooth it literally takes for ever, last time I tried it transferred like 30 in 5 minutes, is there anyway I can make it go faster? Also tried to backup my messages on Ovi suit and PC suite, well on PC suit it gives me an error saying there is not enough memory(On the PC suite application on my computer) and it backs it up short, only 1000 I think and in OVI suit, I backed it up fine but when tried to restore, it did it and took some time but nothing happened, number of txt messages didn't change.

I just bought a N8 and have a little problem with a message. As I did not have a proper connection when I sent it the message went to the outbox. Now its stuck there. Its not sent and I can't delete it. In 'Google' I was reading that older Nokia phones had also this problem. But the N8 is brand new, so how can this happen ? Will Nokia make an update any time soon or have you folks an other solution for me ?
There must be some bug with the low battery alarm on Nokia 700. When the phone is on a long call, it just shuts down without any alarm at all. I had this issue several times. My battery shows that it's full for about 30% or something. Then I call and have a long conversation. And the phone just dies without any alarm at all. When I try to start it again it seems that battery is drained and I have to charge it to turn it on again. When the phone is in standby and battery is starting to running low, it beeps and shows a message. However, when I am on the call, nothings is happening, it doesn't give me a message that battery is low and that it's time to connect to the charger. [code]
Bt a few days ago my phone was like overheating even whn Im nt using Gps, internet, and I din even talk on the phone... I was jz texting and taking some pics with the camera n it went from warm to very hot... This is the 1st time Im using a touchscreen phone so is it normal? If I were to change a new battery will it solve my problem? N whr can I get a genuine Nokia battery for my 5230?
The power button seems to do nothing. When plugged in it will show a white screen with nokia logo and show that the battery is charging but it will still not turn on. Tried removing sim and/or SD card and using a different battery but that didn't work as well.Does anyone else have this problem and do you know how I could fix this?
I recently received my N8 (1-1.5 weeks ago) and have been having a lot of fun with it however my biggest gripe is that the battery would require charging far too soon (once or twice a day depending on use)I was a little dumbfounded as reviews have been praising the N8s battery life. However I thought perhaps my usage was a little more extreme than the common user/reviewer.
Until the other night, before bed, my battery indicator showed roughly 50% battery life; I had turned my widgets and apps off (my bluetooth and gps were also off the only thing on was my wifi) I locked my screen, leaving the clock screensaver on, and proceeded to sleep not 4 hours later I awoke and wanted to check what time it was but my phone had shut off, the battery was drained!
This doesn't seem normal to me and I posed the question to the aforementioned blog and the replies I received also found the situation odd.I have proceeded with a test after charging my battery to full. This time I have insured everything is turned off, that is the: widgets are in offline mode; apps; wlan; gps; bluetooth; FM transmitter. I have left the clock screensaver on and am waiting to see how long the battery lasts.
I just updated my Nokia 500 through Ovi Suite. It looks OK but although I was able to view status of battery in old version, currently either I couldn't find how or there is no such thing anymore. When I touch to battery symbol, it just tries to pull the dashboard down like Android but it doesn't show there.
After updating to Belle update i am not able to view battery status by touchng battery bar. This was the best feature in Nokia prior to Belle upgrade, i would request nokia to kee this feature in Belle update also.
I just bought an N97 mini and the most the battery has lasted is 1 hour, though I assed GPS and used the browser in the interval. It suddenly went off. Plus it writes 'systm error' when I switch it on. whatcan I do?
Recently, my Nokia N97 had water leaked into the phone while it was on. I had it in a friend's bag, and it sat at the very bottom, when his drink bottle leaked, causing half of the phone to be submerged for around 10 minutes, before we realized what had happened.
His own phone was also submerged, but he managed to get it working fine. Mine however, turned off, or seemed to go black in the screen, and had water filled up in most of it. I immediately took the battery out, wiped down the phone and placed it into a bowl of rice. In three days, most of the water disappeared from the phone, except for a small blot, which left a white patch when it dried under the screen. Now, when I put the battery in, the phone lights up at its buttons on the screen such as the menu button, and the red light of the camera.
I have enabled ENCRYPTION ON for my Phone memory of my 701. So if i try to hard reset it ll it reset or it wont ?
After FP1 update my battery is draining so quickly dont know why. Am using this device since october 2011 never faced this problem except after FP1 update. My mobile is always connected to 2g network and EDGE mobile data never faced this quick draining of battery except after FP1 update from few days..
3) When can we expect SKYPE VIDEO CALL & MS APP'S ?
I've been having a problem with my Nokia N8,It gets really really hot, and drains my battery in just over 3 hours, I have tried:soft reset, hard reset, its currently running symbian anna with all updates. I bought a new BL-4D OEM from Amazon, and the problem persist, so I know its not a battery problem.
I have been using N97 mini since more than a year now. Till yesterday it was functioning OK but today after full recharge it battery got drained in 5 hours without any usage !! I noticed the phone is getting too hot without any usage. I recharged it againg and same thing happened again. I tried to switch if off for few hours and took out the battery from phone but it didn't help. I am using latest firmware.
