I have been using my N8 for one year. I have not faced any problem so far except this one. For the last couple of days, Whenever I start to speak on the phone , in a few seconds time, call ends and I get same message."CONNECTION ERROR"
View 3 RepliesI just received my 808 replaced by Nokia for the 3G bug issue. Now I have been noticing that annoying Connection Failed connection unavailable message every few seconds. Turned the positioning methods OFF and the frequency of the error message goes away but it still pops up every few minutes. I did a hard reset, removed the memory card where most of my apps are installed and it still gives me that same error. Ordered a new SIM to see if that makes any difference - none - Still same error message. That message is so annoying. Anyone have any other ideas that I could try ? Privacy mode is OFF also.

View 4 Replies View RelatedI have updated my N8 to Belle via Nokia Suite. Now I am getting Internet connection failure (GPRS and 3G) while connecting. I have checked this with two other sim on which internet is already activated.
But when I do a hard reset to my phone, I get the internet activated for a while (I also keep WiFi disabled as I don't want it).
I'm trying to install "Belle" on my N8 during the installation process I get the message that connection with the phone as been lost! Error code 12052 is displayed My phone is product code 059c5q8 A folder is created with the name of Nokia_Belle?
View 6 Replies View RelatedWhen I select a WiFi network from the E72 home page, it shows me the option to "Start web browsing".(The other 2 options at this stage are "Search for WLAN" and "Switch WLAN scan off". When I select the option to "Start web browsing", I get a list of bookmarks for the browser. But when I select any of those bookmarks, I get an error message "WLAN: WLAN connection already active. Close it and try again". Has anyone seen this before ? Any clues as to how to solve this?

View 5 Replies View RelatedSo this is a new problem, never had this before. I often use wireless, but sometimes it has poor signal and is impossible to use so I also use simple mobile internet. Usually the phone using opera mini asks if you want to use mobile internet (not wireless) but now it almost never does, so I get the connection error message as there is no wireless, but I also cannot use my mobile internet. Just today it gave me problems because of that. bassicly, I cannot use internet, unless I have good wireless signal.And I have mobile internet as priority number 1 in my settings. So is there something else to do? This problem is appearing and dissapearing. Thought could be from bad wireless, it kinda locks itself on it or something, but turning off the phone doesn't help.I hope I gave all the neccesary details for someone to understand this

The status bar gets to about 15% and then the installation is interrupted. I've tried using WiFi and non-WiFi connections, but the result remains the same. My N8-00 was upgraded to the Belle OS over the weekend and it caused most of the apps to be uninstalled. Now I'm trying to get them back but fail to do so because of the error.

The message won't go away by clicking on the screen. The only way to force it away is by clicking the red button, but that would also take me away from whatever menu or application I was at, so I'd prefer not to do that. Also, I don't want to change to connectivity settings per se, (as seen in, for example, this topic: [URL]). Rather, is there any way to disable just the message?

View 4 Replies View RelatedIm getting this problem since 2 days now. When I send a text message to anyone, I get an error saying ''Messaging: Feature Not Supported". After quite a few attempts the message finally is sent but I dont receive any delivery report even though I have enabled that option. And when I check the sent items or conversations, the recipient is totally someone else! I tried soft reset and the problem solved. But now it came up again. Soft resetting my phone every day is not an option.
View 2 Replies View RelatedI have Nokia N97 Mini handset and I am facing problem in it with Battery Low error message, when ever I call someone or I receive any call.Battery works fine in case of standby mode, or even when I do SMS chat for whole day. Even if I listen to music for 10 to 12 hrs, the mobile works fine, no issue of battery low. But during that if I receive any call, then suddenly it displays the battery low error message and the mobile is switched off.I try to check everything of it. The mobile functions normal and in good condition in following cases
1. Wife Connectivity
2. Bluetooth data transfer
3. Sms chat for lets say 12 to 14 hrs.
4. Video play for 2 hrs.

But it only falls down in case of Call. Either I receive call or make a call. I don't know how to Rectify this problem. I had once shown to Nokia customer care, but even after that the problem still remains.I even try factory restore settings and hard format of OS. But still no improvements.

View 2 Replies View RelatedThere seems to be a problem with the map upgrade. The data connection always goes on if I use the internet. Just browsing turns the data connection always on. I have been unable to find a fix for this. Unless I just reboot the phone or terminate the data link manually. There is no reason for this to happen. I am not running any program in the background that I can see that demands constant data connection. If it was, I would have disabled it long time ago.
But just browsing the internet seems to turn on the constant data connection. From what I can best tell. This started after I upgraded to the newest versions of map. It is my suspicion this has something to do with the new software that checks the location of the phone to gather information about local events. But I cannot find that program anywhere running to terminate it once it starts. But it is visible in the program add menu on where widget can be added to the home screen.
I just received a N8 and wanted to totally update everything. When it was doing the "N8 firmware update" it suddenly stopped, saying the connection to the phone was lost.

Am I doing something wrong?, or is this feature not available on the N8?
