Nov 25, 2011Im getting this problem since 2 days now. When I send a text message to anyone, I get an error saying ''Messaging: Feature Not Supported". After quite a few attempts the message finally is sent but I dont receive any delivery report even though I have enabled that option. And when I check the sent items or conversations, the recipient is totally someone else! I tried soft reset and the problem solved. But now it came up again. Soft resetting my phone every day is not an option.

Jan 28, 2011I have Nokia N97 Mini handset and I am facing problem in it with Battery Low error message, when ever I call someone or I receive any call.Battery works fine in case of standby mode, or even when I do SMS chat for whole day. Even if I listen to music for 10 to 12 hrs, the mobile works fine, no issue of battery low. But during that if I receive any call, then suddenly it displays the battery low error message and the mobile is switched off.I try to check everything of it. The mobile functions normal and in good condition in following cases
1. Wife Connectivity
2. Bluetooth data transfer
3. Sms chat for lets say 12 to 14 hrs.
4. Video play for 2 hrs.
5. Music plays for 10 to 12 hrs.
6. Clicking photos or recording Videos.
7. Browsing internet.
But it only falls down in case of Call. Either I receive call or make a call. I don't know how to Rectify this problem. I had once shown to Nokia customer care, but even after that the problem still remains.I even try factory restore settings and hard format of OS. But still no improvements.

Feb 26, 2012Got my N8 back with belle installed by vodafone but got snags trying to reinstall my apps.

Tried countless times to open Nokia Ovi store however a "required update" is necessary. Clicked to update to 3.22.054, downloaded 4.54mb fine then installing, then "required update failed". Retry failed each time too. Tried to uninstall via application manager but it self cancelled before installing. Tried turning phone on and off to reset with 3 vibrations and still no joy.
Also Google maps app wont install so i suspect it may be install related rather than app related.
Got 72.3Mb free c memory and 4Gb's free mass memory.

And now whenever I try to install something (app, theme - you name it), I get the "Unable to install" error. This goes for both via usb and directly from phone.

But i have a problem with it ..... the problem that when i download any thing from nokia OVI Store from my mobile like: Games, apps and videos when download finished and starting to install the games or the apps it's say's: "installation failed" and when i redownload it again nothing change and keep saying "installation failed" ........ and i noted that when i install app ( themes, apps and games ) on my mobile by ovi suite or by file manager it also say's to me "Expired Certificat" even if i signed this apps but it alwyas say's "Expired Certificat"....... for this problem i did: hard reset - format my mobile - format my sd card - update my mobile to v40 - but the problem never stops to return in a few hours ..... then i find out that when i need to install any app on my mobile (by ovi suite or ovi store in my mobile or file manager) i have to switch off the mobile and turn it on again to install what ever i want ...... so Plz help me out

Dec 14, 2015I am running Windows Phone 10 latest build on a Lumia 1520. Everything was working great except I had an issue with my bluetooth connection in the car so I decided to do a reset on the device to see if it would fix the problem. After the reset, the problem was fixed, however I have 7 apps that will just not install. I keep getting an error saying
"Application name needs to be installed on my internal hard drive. We'll override your settings only for this installation" (apps are installed on my SD Card). After I say OK, it will start downloading and then I get "Error, see details" and I get the same error message again. If I cancel the download, the next time I check for updates, these all come up again and I get the same error messages again.

Dec 19, 2011Recently I bought a used N8 which has been working as expected until I noticed that it wouldn't install a single app. When I got the phone the previous user had reset the phone to factory settings and in general tried to turn it back to it's original condition. At first all apps installed without problems. The only app I experienced problems with was Nokia Store, which always got stuck on the loading screen and never opened. Now my N8 hasn't been able to install any apps what so ever, especially no .sis or .sisx files. The installation of .sis or .sisx files results in a error message Unable to install (or something similar in english). The newest software of Symbian Anna is installed on the phone. The only app I've been able to install is one with a .wgz ending.I've tried to reset the phone to factory settings again, reset the device with *#7370# code and held the power button for 8 seconds, and my problem persists.

Nov 25, 2011I have two N8 phones. On my first N8, I did the Anna update. I now have two sets of "midnight" themes on this phone, one set that looks like it did before, and one set that has a symbol at the right of the theme name that sort of looks like a coffee cup. For the themes with the "coffee cup" symbol to the right of the theme name, all the theme icons have been modified to something a bit fancier than the original. What does the "coffee cup" symbol mean? My newest N8 was recently updated to Anna. It only has the old-style themes named "midnight color-name". The icons for the themes still look like they did before the Anna update. How can I get this fancier theme icons on my other N8? If it's simply a matter of downloading the new, full and complete Nokia "midnight" themes for the N8 phone with Anna, where do I go to get them? I've searched all over, and found lots of "midnight" themes, but not the ones I'm looking for (which apparently were installed on one of my phones as part of the Anna Update.

Checking c: with x-plore filemanager I have found many files coming from a quickoffice install attempt that didn't finish because there wasn't enough space in c: when I tried to install.Now I cannot remove those files from x-plore (permission denied) and I cannot uninstall the quickoffice application because it never installed properly.Is there a way to remove those files? Everything appears normal except it does not ask me where I want to install the app. Instead it just stops the whole process and does nothing. I have plenty of memory. May 28, 2011I'm having a lot of trouble getting any Nokia software to work on my PC.(This was the same for my previous Nokia 2730.)The first time I connected my N8-00 to my PC, running Windows Vista 32, my PC worked out it was an N8-00 and a window appeared asking me to confirm AutoPlay settings - there was a checkbox (which I checked), but no OK button.
I could go to Start > Computer and see the N8-00 there though.I opened the device and found the Ovi Suite Installer and tried to run that (because the downloaded version didn't work either - I'll start another thread about my troubles with Ovi Suite) but it didn't work.I then removed the phone from my PC.Now whenever I connect my phone to my PC Windows tries to install the N8-00 drivers and fails, giving me these messages:
"Found New Hardware - Nokia N8-00""Windows encountered a problem installing the driver software for your deviceWindows found driver software for your device but encountered an error while attempting to install it.Nokia N8-00 USB Phone ParentNo such interface supportedIf you know the manufacturer of your device, you can visit its website and check the support section for driver software."Obviously not being able to connect my phone to my PC is very frustrating and restricts many of the features I wish to use.
