Tried countless times to open Nokia Ovi store however a "required update" is necessary. Clicked to update to 3.22.054, downloaded 4.54mb fine then installing, then "required update failed". Retry failed each time too. Tried to uninstall via application manager but it self cancelled before installing. Tried turning phone on and off to reset with 3 vibrations and still no joy.
Also Google maps app wont install so i suspect it may be install related rather than app related.
Got 72.3Mb free c memory and 4Gb's free mass memory.

Recently I bought a used N8 which has been working as expected until I noticed that it wouldn't install a single app. When I got the phone the previous user had reset the phone to factory settings and in general tried to turn it back to it's original condition. At first all apps installed without problems. The only app I experienced problems with was Nokia Store, which always got stuck on the loading screen and never opened. Now my N8 hasn't been able to install any apps what so ever, especially no .sis or .sisx files. The installation of .sis or .sisx files results in a error message Unable to install (or something similar in english). The newest software of Symbian Anna is installed on the phone. The only app I've been able to install is one with a .wgz ending.I've tried to reset the phone to factory settings again, reset the device with *#7370# code and held the power button for 8 seconds, and my problem persists.
I have a new Nokia 700. Updated firmware, connected to Telstra, connected to the web but can't install any apps. It downloads then gives error "can't install".
I have N8 and here is my problem. When I am going to install new app from OVI WiFi or from my Notepad shows msg that's not possible. I Upgrade the store and I install 5-7 app and again the same problem, now I upgrade the phone to news version Anna and again I was able to install about 10 app and the phone stop to install programs...
I've had the phone since January and I have had no problems. Recently I went to install some new apps. Everything appears normal except it does not ask me where I want to install the app. Instead it just stops the whole process and does nothing. I have plenty of memory. I did a Soft reset I believe going to settings>phone>phone management > factory settings... I used the code 12345. That did not solve the problem. I tried doing a hard reset using #7370# but the phone kept responding with "request not complete".
I tried to update my N8 to belle but an error message always appears cannot install software your phone is currently not compatible with the current software?
There is no way to install nokia apps (maps, messaging, point and find, etc) in the mass memory of the n97 ? There is simply no space in n97's c: to install all of nokia apps and e: has a lot of gb !!! I understand that the apps will operate slower if installed on e, but really there is no alternative! And if there isn't, is there at least an option for nokia messaging to store its data on the mass memory? It is one of the best nokia apps/services, but using it with 5-6 mailboxes means that I will not have free space on c and memory errors start to appear. Any option to install your apps in E:?
I've updated my N8 with official Belle software afterwich i found there's a ton new apps and their widgets installed my N8. They appear to be installed by an operator and are all on some language unknown to me, maybe Polish or Czech. I guess that's because my phone's product code is from one of those countries. Examples are: "MTV WebTV", "Postr", "TV2.hu", "AXN", "DunaMobil", "Ozone", etc. Anyway, for me they are junk apps and I don't need or understand them at all, they also take up a lot of space on my C drive. The problem is I can't delete them. When I try to delete any of them the phone immediately says "Removing cancelled".
I cannot install Microsoft Apps software update to my Nokia 700. I've tried to install it through Nokia Suite and through software update app in the phone without success. Several tries and all I get is "Error in installing try again later." Latest Social update was successful at the same time.
I use my Social app & widget frequently throughout the day. A few hours ago it forced me to download version 1.3 and when it went through the install process it said "Unable to Install. "I still cannot access the social app without the forced upgrade and the upgrade keeps failing.I've also tried updating with software updates and it is not showing up.In addition I downloaded it on my PC, transferred it to my N8 and attempted a reboot and install, still "unable to install."
I'm having a lot of trouble getting any Nokia software to work on my PC.(This was the same for my previous Nokia 2730.)The first time I connected my N8-00 to my PC, running Windows Vista 32, my PC worked out it was an N8-00 and a window appeared asking me to confirm AutoPlay settings - there was a checkbox (which I checked), but no OK button.
I could go to Start > Computer and see the N8-00 there though.I opened the device and found the Ovi Suite Installer and tried to run that (because the downloaded version didn't work either - I'll start another thread about my troubles with Ovi Suite) but it didn't work.I then removed the phone from my PC.Now whenever I connect my phone to my PC Windows tries to install the N8-00 drivers and fails, giving me these messages:
"Found New Hardware - Nokia N8-00""Windows encountered a problem installing the driver software for your deviceWindows found driver software for your device but encountered an error while attempting to install it.Nokia N8-00 USB Phone ParentNo such interface supportedIf you know the manufacturer of your device, you can visit its website and check the support section for driver software."Obviously not being able to connect my phone to my PC is very frustrating and restricts many of the features I wish to use.
I am using the nokia n70 cell phone. My problem is that, when I install a theme then it reply an error is "installation security error. unable to install".
So I re configured the mail boxes as the Nokia Flagship N97 mini thrashed these. Yet after going through The Wizard of Ovi settings the mailboxes don't work as advertised nor as before. It downloads the headers correctly (although not complete) but opening an E-Mail instead of displaying the message shows an error message: Unable to display the rest of message.
In what way do I correctly open E-Mails on the N97 Mini?
I updated my Nokia N8 to Anna ages ago and everything was fine. But then a few days ago I got a notification about a new software update, so I did it. And now whenever I try to install something (app, theme - you name it), I get the "Unable to install" error. This goes for both via usb and directly from phone.
I just installed the 10166 build on my lumia 1020 and after sometime the start screen did not appear only black screen saying loading. I tried hard reset and now there are only 4-5 apps on my phone, no call no store nothing? What should I do?
I am running Windows Phone 10 latest build on a Lumia 1520. Everything was working great except I had an issue with my bluetooth connection in the car so I decided to do a reset on the device to see if it would fix the problem. After the reset, the problem was fixed, however I have 7 apps that will just not install. I keep getting an error saying
"Application name needs to be installed on my internal hard drive. We'll override your settings only for this installation" (apps are installed on my SD Card). After I say OK, it will start downloading and then I get "Error, see details" and I get the same error message again. If I cancel the download, the next time I check for updates, these all come up again and I get the same error messages again.
All my apps including email have stopped working.. and i have no idea why this happened a few days ago now and ever since ive noticed that ive no GPSR icon only 3G. First noticed my apps not working when the normal facebook at twiter wouldnt work and then bbm messages wouldnt send and the same for emails as i havnt been reciveing any and nethier will they send.
I am currently using the m8 and its a great companion . just that i am worrying about the space. When i look at the "apps" (settings > apps> downloaded) i realised that there is still memory taken up in the phone storage although i have moved it to the sd card ( selecting "move to sd card" after tapping the app ) . So is there any way of moving the memory in the phone storage to the sd card such that no remaining memory is left in the phone storage?
Have had my HTC One since last September. Never had any issues until today. No matter what music app I'm using, even Google play, the music will stop playing. It happens on different songs and with different headphones. The headphones icon still shows stays up. So the plug is good. But I have to keep unlocking my phone and restart the app. It's like every app closes. I'm running all stock. Never rooted. I restarted my phone. It worked for a few minutes but started up again.
Also noticed when you lose Internet connection a phrase down on the bottom of the screen pops up that says "yikes you lost Internet connection" I've never seen this before. Especially using the word "yikes" seems odd to me. I'm was on my home screen when it happened.
My mobile phone is Nokia C5-03.I uninstalled Opera Mini browser and What's app application. Now I am trying to reinstall the same. But both the applications are still showing in installed apps and hence unable install the same.
