BB Curve :: All Apps Including Email Have Stopped Working?
Mar 11, 2012All my apps including email have stopped working.. and i have no idea why this happened a few days ago now and ever since ive noticed that ive no GPSR icon only 3G. First noticed my apps not working when the normal facebook at twiter wouldnt work and then bbm messages wouldnt send and the same for emails as i havnt been reciveing any and nethier will they send.

When i look at the "apps" (settings > apps> downloaded) i realised that there is still memory taken up in the phone storage although i have moved it to the sd card ( selecting "move to sd card" after tapping the app ) . So is there any way of moving the memory in the phone storage to the sd card such that no remaining memory is left in the phone storage?

Feb 6, 2014Have had my HTC One since last September. Never had any issues until today. No matter what music app I'm using, even Google play, the music will stop playing. It happens on different songs and with different headphones. The headphones icon still shows stays up. So the plug is good. But I have to keep unlocking my phone and restart the app. It's like every app closes. I'm running all stock. Never rooted. I restarted my phone. It worked for a few minutes but started up again.
Also noticed when you lose Internet connection a phrase down on the bottom of the screen pops up that says "yikes you lost Internet connection" I've never seen this before. Especially using the word "yikes" seems odd to me. I'm was on my home screen when it happened.

Tried countless times to open Nokia Ovi store however a "required update" is necessary. Clicked to update to 3.22.054, downloaded 4.54mb fine then installing, then "required update failed". Retry failed each time too. Tried to uninstall via application manager but it self cancelled before installing. Tried turning phone on and off to reset with 3 vibrations and still no joy.
Also Google maps app wont install so i suspect it may be install related rather than app related.
Got 72.3Mb free c memory and 4Gb's free mass memory.

I would plug it into Nokia Suite once that's done, and download the latest version of the handset's firmware. After having tinkered with it for a couple of years now, downloaded and then deleted various apps, I find that it's running a bit slower, and whenever I check for software updates, I only ever get the same four, which I've been offered now for over 6 months without any change. I suspect that the phone's update facility isn't working properly.

In ITunes and on my Nano, I can choose a playlist and when shuffle is activated it only shuffles the songs in my chosen playlist. This is not happening for me in my IPhone. When shuffle is on, it shuffles through all the songs including across playlists. When it is off, I can only play the playlist in order.

Oct 28, 2012I have a S2 on UK Vodafone contract even though I am currently living in NZ. My phone is a UK model.UK Vodafone have terminated the Passport service as of 1st November which means I now go on to NZ roaming which at �1.65/NZ$3.30 a minute is somewhat steep - I also pay that amount for the incoming call.I now need to block all incoming calls on my phone so as I am not tempted to answer calls at odd times of the day or night (quite hard when we are 13 hours ahead of UK and totally out of sync with them) and pay extortionate amounts of money BUT I need to leave the phone available to make and receive text messages.It is not as easy as to just get a NZ phone contract as this was my life line with friends and family in UK until my provider pulled the passport service so need to disable the phone I have.how to do this so as I can still send/receive text but NOT receive voice calls on my S2?

Dec 20, 2015Randomly my Nexus 5 stoped booting yesterday, not progressing further than the Google boot logo. I can reach the option to load the recovery mode, but, once selected from the vol down+power menu it loads into a similar black screen.
From what I understand this is a soft-brick issue, but I'm unsure of how to reflash if I cannot access the recovery mode.
