Jun 7, 2010It was just announced that the IPhone 4 will have zoom for the camera, but will this be real optical zoom, or will it simply be "digital" zoom? Digital zoom is so stupid - I can duplicate the effect of digital zoom by cropping the photo with photoshop afterward. Not only is digital zoom in effect the same a cropping a photo, but because the photo was cropped from the get-go, you have LOST information that you might have wanted. What if you "zoomed in" and took the picture, but mistakenly chopped off the top of your subject's head? That portion of the head was actually being perceived by the camera's sensor, so you could have had a complete photo, but it is now lost forever thanks to digital zoom.

Aug 23, 2014So recently I dropped my phone, around 3 feet so not much right? Plus I have an Otter box on. So when it fell My home button broke so i had to turn off the phone and turn it on to get to settings and when I turn Accessibility Touch on i tap on it and it turns from Light gray to dark gray but doesnt open the interface or w/e u call it(The options) it just changes color of the button from light gray to dark gray but all other clicking works on my phone. I cant turn it off by clicking the home button and lock button at the same time considering by home button is messed up

Apr 11, 2012I have a hotmail account, with MS Outlook, through Century Link ISP. After I set up the account on my new iPhone 4s (using the Hotmail option for adding an account), I discovered that deleting emails on the phone deleted the emails from the server as well. Doing some checking on-line, I read that you could select the Advanced option, and then specify "never" delete emails on the server. However, my hotmail account on the iPhone doesn't have an Advanced option. I talked to Apple support, deleted the account and re-added it using the Other option (vs. Hotmail). I was then able to see the Advanced option. However, I no longer have the option to Sync calendars, contacts or reminders.

May 25, 2014It seems to have occurred recently and am wondering if it is related to the recent Nokia camera/beta camera updates. I'm running 8.1 DP but I don't believe I was having this issue before and I don't believe I have had any recent big falls or jolts to the phone that might cause mechanical problems and I believe the zoom works fine in still pictures.

Jun 8, 2012I have read lots of questions about the Shuffle function and I am aware of how to turn it on/off by clicking once on the album artwork. In ITunes and on my Nano, I can choose a playlist and when shuffle is activated it only shuffles the songs in my chosen playlist. This is not happening for me in my IPhone. When shuffle is on, it shuffles through all the songs including across playlists. When it is off, I can only play the playlist in order.

Galaxy S6 :: Accessibility Settings Unable To Turn On
Jul 11, 2015I have a rooted AT&T S6 and was using Tasker normally, but I decided to clean up/freeze some more system apps, and then I ran into a problem. For some reason, accessibility settings for Tasker become disabled and when I tried to re-enable them, I was prompted with this error message: "Error: "Turn on universal switch. Universal switch does not support the current system language. The text-to-speech language will be set to null, but this might cause unexpected behavior". After hitting "Ok", it would say settings has crashed.
I fixed this by unfreezing Samsung text-to-speech engine. Afterwards, the message about Universal Switch never came up again. This is just an FYI if cannot enable any accessibility settings due to settings has crashed.

Luckily, I paid attention for how to scroll and tap, but when I came to the accessibility shortcut feature in the settings page, I turned off the feature, but the accessibility shortcut was still on! There you have it, it's off, but it is still running.
