Galaxy S6 :: Accessibility Settings Unable To Turn On
Jul 11, 2015I have a rooted AT&T S6 and was using Tasker normally, but I decided to clean up/freeze some more system apps, and then I ran into a problem. For some reason, accessibility settings for Tasker become disabled and when I tried to re-enable them, I was prompted with this error message: "Error: "Turn on universal switch. Universal switch does not support the current system language. The text-to-speech language will be set to null, but this might cause unexpected behavior". After hitting "Ok", it would say settings has crashed.
I fixed this by unfreezing Samsung text-to-speech engine. Afterwards, the message about Universal Switch never came up again. This is just an FYI if cannot enable any accessibility settings due to settings has crashed.

Mar 27, 2011I just bought a new Xperia X10i the other day because my old nokia crashed and died. I've never had an android phone or iPhone before so I'm having trouble figuring things out. I couldn't export all my contacts onto my sim card from my old phone because it died, so I've been trying to add them manually. My phonebook is filled with all my contacts from facebook, yet I can't see a way to edit those contacts to add a phone number.

Aug 23, 2014So recently I dropped my phone, around 3 feet so not much right? Plus I have an Otter box on. So when it fell My home button broke so i had to turn off the phone and turn it on to get to settings and when I turn Accessibility Touch on i tap on it and it turns from Light gray to dark gray but doesnt open the interface or w/e u call it(The options) it just changes color of the button from light gray to dark gray but all other clicking works on my phone. I cant turn it off by clicking the home button and lock button at the same time considering by home button is messed up

Luckily, I paid attention for how to scroll and tap, but when I came to the accessibility shortcut feature in the settings page, I turned off the feature, but the accessibility shortcut was still on! There you have it, it's off, but it is still running.

She does not want it. It was a gift from an admirer and won't take it back. They are now going to just sell it and take the money.So my current situation is this, I currently have the iPhone box, sealed at my house. The box displays IMEI and some other information stuff. What I don't know is if the phone was bought from a carrier like Rogers/Fido or from a reseller store or something. The friend overseas would like the phone to be brand new and sealed. Also he would like the phone unlocked so he can use it.Problem, is there a way to find out through IMEI or somewhere on box to figure out if the phone was bought from a carrier? I've never bought an iPhone from Rogers/Fido so don't know if there'd be a logo or something somwhere on box. As of now there are no indications somewhere saying it is from a carrier. My friend over here also thinks it was not bought at a carrier. We can't really ask the original guy who bought it because of whatever issues too.So yeah, if anyone knows if its really easy to figure this out or something, please let me know.

Sep 16, 2010I have a BB Curve 8530 and I have an icon on my home screen that I cannot figure out. It looks similar to the icon used for missed call or placed call except it has a curved arrow next to it. It is a gold phone receiver and the arrow is bent at a 45 degree angle. (kind of like a backwards check mark with an arrow head on the bottom). I have a suspicion that it has to do with call forwarding since I forwarded calls to a different phone # the other day, however, I cancelled that. I have checked my messages folder, rebooted, pulled battery, done an update, etc. Nothing works.

Jun 12, 2010I bought a second hand Iphone 3gs which is working fine on other carrier (not AT&T) . So I know its not locked, it also came with Cydia installed so I know its jailbroken. But in Cydia I don't see any of the unlock Packages or Sources that are supposed to be used to unlock the iphone. Does that mean its officially unlocked? Right now its on 3.1 (7C144) and modem firmware 05.11.07.
