I cannot install Microsoft Apps software update to my Nokia 700. I've tried to install it through Nokia Suite and through software update app in the phone without success. Several tries and all I get is "Error in installing try again later." Latest Social update was successful at the same time.

From nokia conversations website, I could see that MIcrosoft Apps is available for Nokia 701 [URL] post Belle FP1 update. But I am not able to get that update. I am from India. My product code is 059J7M4 (This is a new code that I got after taking my mobile to Nokia care for software update).

I have rebooted several times, and upon reboot the wifi connects and never disconnects. I have removed any widgets that access data and the problem remains, however those widgets were there prior to the update and wifi worked normally.

View 9 Replies View RelatedRecently I bought a used N8 which has been working as expected until I noticed that it wouldn't install a single app. When I got the phone the previous user had reset the phone to factory settings and in general tried to turn it back to it's original condition. At first all apps installed without problems. The only app I experienced problems with was Nokia Store, which always got stuck on the loading screen and never opened. Now my N8 hasn't been able to install any apps what so ever, especially no .sis or .sisx files. The installation of .sis or .sisx files results in a error message Unable to install (or something similar in english). The newest software of Symbian Anna is installed on the phone. The only app I've been able to install is one with a .wgz ending.I've tried to reset the phone to factory settings again, reset the device with *#7370# code and held the power button for 8 seconds, and my problem persists.

Everything appears normal except it does not ask me where I want to install the app. Instead it just stops the whole process and does nothing. I have plenty of memory. I did a Soft reset I believe going to settings>phone>phone management > factory settings... I used the code 12345. That did not solve the problem. I tried doing a hard reset using #7370# but the phone kept responding with "request not complete".

There is simply no space in n97's c: to install all of nokia apps and e: has a lot of gb !!! I understand that the apps will operate slower if installed on e, but really there is no alternative! And if there isn't, is there at least an option for nokia messaging to store its data on the mass memory? It is one of the best nokia apps/services, but using it with 5-6 mailboxes means that I will not have free space on c and memory errors start to appear. Any option to install your apps in E:?

They appear to be installed by an operator and are all on some language unknown to me, maybe Polish or Czech. I guess that's because my phone's product code is from one of those countries. Examples are: "MTV WebTV", "Postr", "TV2.hu", "AXN", "DunaMobil", "Ozone", etc. Anyway, for me they are junk apps and I don't need or understand them at all, they also take up a lot of space on my C drive. The problem is I can't delete them. When I try to delete any of them the phone immediately says "Removing cancelled".

View 9 Replies View RelatedThe latest Nokia Maps update refuses to install either via Nokia Suite or OTA (version 3.8.105) but simply says that something went wrong/isntall failed and doesn't even report an error code. I installed another update for the phone 1 week or so ago and Maps wouldn't connect to a GPS-satellite and thus was unable to navigate but this seems to have corrected itself with the reset. I've tried soft resetting and returning the phone to factory settings but the update still refuses to download and install.

Tried countless times to open Nokia Ovi store however a "required update" is necessary. Clicked to update to 3.22.054, downloaded 4.54mb fine then installing, then "required update failed". Retry failed each time too. Tried to uninstall via application manager but it self cancelled before installing. Tried turning phone on and off to reset with 3 vibrations and still no joy.
Also Google maps app wont install so i suspect it may be install related rather than app related.
Got 72.3Mb free c memory and 4Gb's free mass memory.

View 3 Replies View RelatedI don't seem to be able to sync my contacts to my Microsoft Outlook (2003) from my N8. It worked fine with the N85. I get an error message from Ovi Suite that neither Calendar nor Contacts could be synced but the Calendar does get updated. Unfortunately not the contacts. When I go to Sync Options and select Outlook for contacts and calendar I get a message from Outlook that it cannot connect to the Exchange Server, but I don't use Exchange server, I use a private e-mail account. I have tried to set up the account again as per the Ovi Suite error message (Error 83860004) but nothing. Of course also restarting Ovi Suite.

View 2 Replies View RelatedI updated to Anna on an N8 during the first days of the release and I'm still enjoying my phone.
Firstly, Swype isn't working on my phone, it has never worked before and i was hoping it would with the Anna update but it still doesn't. Whenever I install the App, my phone freezes, i can't open anything that requires use of the Keyboard(Messages, Conversations, WhatsApp). The phone just keeps quite until I uninstall Swype.
Secondly, When you use Grid, there is an icon called Signal Boost, when opening it, it says System error... Not sure if anyone has ever experienced this.
Lastly (for now), are we supposed to purchase Shazam and QuickOffice 7 or a plan is being made to have an update that allows full access to both the apps in the near future? N8-00,Galaxy Tab 10.1
I configured communicator on my N8. Had to install a certificate to access the office network . Am able to access it but every few seconds I keep getting asked for the phone key store password. Is there anyway to avoid it? Tried moving the personal certificate as a phone certificate, but that doesn't help with the authentication.

Just things like the rss widget (at last!) and the fancy clocks etc.However it consumed another 15mb of precious c drive leaving the phone with just 5mb and lots of messages to make space.Having the 2.1 microsoft apps I tried deleting the powerpoint broadcast app (i never use) which then removed the whole office app suite!So I formatted the mass memory- did a *#7370# and started again. Connected to the PC suite and there was only one piece of software to update a social update.I am now on 111.030.0609.223.01 - which should have ms apps = but no ms apps on my phone!!What should I do? Why the heck can't you download it from nokia store and is my only option a visit to nokia care?
