With the update of Microsoft applications email client is not working. Two icons namely..freestyleemail and email widget..have cropped up...and unfortunately none are working as on clicking icons dpn't open or response.
View 12 RepliesThe email client on my N8 with Belle suddenly stopped working. I have configured my email with IMAP (Standard not OVI!) and it was working OK until a couple of days ago. Now I can not retrieve/send any email - I always get the message: "Unable to sign in. Try again.". I also tried and removed this particular account and added it once again (as a matter of fact I did this about 10 times!!!) but still no emails are shown. Of course this same mail is working perfectly on all of my PCs and notebooks.

My wifi stays constantly connected after the microsoft apps update. Running latest belle on n8. Powersave mode is active, and no apps are running. I have rebooted several times, and upon reboot the wifi connects and never disconnects. I have removed any widgets that access data and the problem remains, however those widgets were there prior to the update and wifi worked normally.

Apart from some small bugs, like if inbox is empty you can't get to your sent folder, I can send and receive emails properly. However, I can't find a normal pop3 setting Leave mail on server. Which means it will download all new messages from the server, and nothing else.Now it more or less behaves like a mapi client and syncs against the server and removes all messages from the inbox that I have deleted from the server. But I want to have the messages on the phone until I delete them.Any email program out there that I can use on the Nokia E7 that can be used as a normal pop3 client? Apart from this email problem I would say that Nokia E7 is the best phone I have had so far. If I only could get the Nokia E7 hardware and use N900 software it would be perfect

Just things like the rss widget (at last!) and the fancy clocks etc.However it consumed another 15mb of precious c drive leaving the phone with just 5mb and lots of messages to make space.Having the 2.1 microsoft apps I tried deleting the powerpoint broadcast app (i never use) which then removed the whole office app suite!So I formatted the mass memory- did a *#7370# and started again. Connected to the PC suite and there was only one piece of software to update a social update.I am now on 111.030.0609.223.01 - which should have ms apps = but no ms apps on my phone!!What should I do? Why the heck can't you download it from nokia store and is my only option a visit to nokia care?

View 4 Replies View RelatedI downloaded the Microsoft Apps 2.1 via SW update but it is not getting installed. I get an error as "Unfortunately there was a problem getting your updates. You can use your 603 as normal. Please try again later to complete the update". I tried more than 20 times now, but everytime I get the same error.
Is there a problem with Microsoft Apps for 603? I have enough memory on my phone to have this 45 MB application installed. I do not where the downloaded file gets saved. Does anybody know about this.
And how do I uninstall the previous version of Microsoft Apps from my phone, I do not see an option for that on the icon.

On my 808 I opted to delete Lync and this caused deleting of all MS apps including office.

View 1 Replies View RelatedI just set up Exchange 2010 and it runs greats supports SSL for IMAP POP and Activesync. IMAP is great because you have access to all your Inbox folders (with Active Sync / Exchange you can only have 1 such mailbox - blows). I've set up IMAP to my server on Android and BBs for my company clients - works great. I use IMAP at home with Outlook - great! I set up my Nokia Belle C7 and it pulls 20 random old messages off the server. I cannot figure out why it refuses to update the inbox contents.
I set to subscribe to all my other IMAP inbox folders no prob, it sees them. It outright refuses to see anything but the random old messages in my inbox? Whats going on? My phone is C7 Belle updated completely. I set up the account again as a "Hotmail" account and specified the exchange server - works very well and syncs well. Here you don't have access to any Inbox folders. Is this a bug with Nokia IMAP and exchange? I have another IMAP account which does work with Nokia.

Today I did a factory reset using *#7370# for some reasons and updated my N8-00 to latest Nokia Belle Refresh. But Microsoft Apps 2.01 is not installed and I am unable to install it again through Nokia Suite!

Before i updated to Belle, there was no issue with the battery monitor. But after i updated and then installed Battery Monitor, it is kind of stuck on the loading screen for a long long time. it just keeps loading and loading.
