from last week social client & nokia blogs not working. Facebook / Twitter / Conversations / Blog etc... are not opening. Get a blank white screen with only option to exit. Surprisingly the social widget is getting updated with posts from both Facebook & Twitter! But if i click to open then its the same issue...

When it was working i had problem about imaging facebook photos. The photos that i click on were so blurry that i could not see it clearly. I had hope to see a fix about that problem but it was same until it stopped working.
the Nokia Social app in my Nokia 701 simply stopped working; tapping on the icon shows the "welcome to social" screen and then goes back to previous screen.I have uninstalled the app, restarted the phone and reinstalled it but the problem persists. I keep my phone software updated from time to time.

At first, I was instructed to uninstall and reinstall the app. I did this but the new app refuses to connect to the internet. I've redownloaded and reinstalled the app several times with the same result. An error script pops up whenever I start the app, and then the app comes vs with some preloaded accounts that I can't change.

View 1 Replies View RelatedUpon buying the Nokia E6-00, I was told that I was able to use a app on the phone to connect with my social networking sites such as Facebook. After taking the phone home and learning how to use it, I decided on connecting my social networking sites to my mobile. Unfortunately, when opening the the app (using the path Menu > Applications > Social) it began to load and then suddenly, the app shut down back to the Applications screen. I then restarted my phone and had the same problem no matter how many time I tried to access it. I have also searched for software updates and completed the update that appeared on the 28th August 2011 and this did not fix my problem.how to fix this as I am unable to find something to resolve this problem on other websites and in the other forums on the Nokia site.

Sony Ericsson Satio phone (Jailbreaked), which runs exactly the same OS as the Nokia 5800, Symbian S60V5. It is such a pity that I cant find any applications for my SE ANYWHERE, so I've tried numerous versions of the Ovi Store in my phone. One of them started up, but told me "Resource not exist" when I tried clicking something, one of them didn't start at all, and most of them were unable to install.
View 4 Replies View RelatedThe email client on my N8 with Belle suddenly stopped working. I have configured my email with IMAP (Standard not OVI!) and it was working OK until a couple of days ago. Now I can not retrieve/send any email - I always get the message: "Unable to sign in. Try again.". I also tried and removed this particular account and added it once again (as a matter of fact I did this about 10 times!!!) but still no emails are shown. Of course this same mail is working perfectly on all of my PCs and notebooks.

View 9 Replies View RelatedTwo moths ago, there was an update to nokia chat. I've installed it, but afer that nokia chat ceased to function. When I entered it, it just said "Service temporarily unavailable.lease try later". Same thing happened with Social. I hoped that this would get solved with symbian anna, but it didn't. Now, when i enter the app, only the loading screen appears, the one with welcome to ovi, an then nothing. It just exits the app. Note that I uninstalled and reinstalled these apps many, many times, but still, they do not work.

I can use the same application by using the phone browser but the inbuilt ones keep giving me errors like 'Login failed' or 'Service unavailable'. Especially Face book and Twitter.

Apart from some small bugs, like if inbox is empty you can't get to your sent folder, I can send and receive emails properly. However, I can't find a normal pop3 setting Leave mail on server. Which means it will download all new messages from the server, and nothing else.Now it more or less behaves like a mapi client and syncs against the server and removes all messages from the inbox that I have deleted from the server. But I want to have the messages on the phone until I delete them.Any email program out there that I can use on the Nokia E7 that can be used as a normal pop3 client? Apart from this email problem I would say that Nokia E7 is the best phone I have had so far. If I only could get the Nokia E7 hardware and use N900 software it would be perfect

To help HTC improve Mail, select 'Tell HTC' to send an error to HTC'I've hit Tell HTC and followed the prompts, but so far nothing has happened Because of this, I have started using the mail widget so I can view incoming emails, but I can't send emails or open my inbox. similar thing was happening with my messages for a while before this started. If I tried to access my messages from the app icon a similar message would pop up (I told HTC every time) I started using the messages widget which worked and finally the problem stopped altogether.
