Everytime I disconnect the USB cable the annoying and incorrect message:
Unplug charger from power supply to save energy.
Is displayed. How do I disbale this messge that is displayed in error?
Is this the correct method?
Or should I be doing something on the phone/computer to disconnect?
I realize I'm careless for letting my battery die so often, but I have trouble unlocking my phone if I:let the battery die and the phone shut itself offplug the usb charger into my computer and the phoneturn on the phoneI end up being unable to unlock the phone. If I press the power button or menu button, I am prompted with the message "Use keyguard switch to unlock screen and keys" But sliding the keyguard switch has no effect.

When I connect it to a usb, it disappears but will then reappear when I unplug. I've tried updating software but none is available, and there is no programs running on the phone. When I turn off and on I still get the same problem.

I just got my BB mini keyboard and for the first couple days I have had constant issue with it intermittently disconnecting. Other than the lack of custome options such as scrolling speeds and cursor rates, the functionality and feel of the keyboard is great.

Apart from the fact that I incidentally and but quite convincingly do NOT enjoy my new device as much as my old one I also don't understand where this message is coming from. Do I have to unsubscribe from some sort of service to start using the Nokia Flagship N97 Mini?
My Xperia x10 mini pro cable failed during the update. While the update is installing already, the cable got moved accidentally; therefore disconnecting the phone. Right now, my phone won't even turn on! It only shows an image of a phone with an exclamation point.

View 3 Replies View RelatedI have bought a X10 mini pro on ebay and replaced the 2GB card by a 16GB sdhc. I copied the contents of the former onto the latter via my PC.Since I did that, the phone starts to play one of the mp3 tracks I copied to it (always the same) as soon as I connect the USB cable, regardless whether it's for synchronising or charging.The song is not played by the audio player app - if I start a track there, then I here both at the same time. Killing all processes doesn't stop it either.The only way is to switch off the phone. Switching it on again doesn't restart the music, unless the cable is removed and plugged in again.Obviously this is more of an oddity than a problem, but it is somewhat annoying, especially since I usually intend to fill the battery when connecting the phone, not drain it with a song on its lips.

View 3 Replies View RelatedI plugged my x10 into my Macbook Pro with Sony Bridge for Mac installed and the touchscreen suddenly stopped working. When I unplugged the cable the touchscreen remained unresponsive but then after a while it became responsive for half a minute before going off again. All this time the phone keeps telling me I've got new email coming through but I don't know where that email is. Now I'm getting texts but I cannot read them.
How can I get my touchscreen to work again? This appears to be a software problem? Can I read or export SMS messages without using the touchscreen?
I would erally need to back up my SMS if I need to wipe the phone but so far have not found a way to do this. I have never updated the system of the phone so I assume it's still in the original factory OS.

When I connect my X10 mini pro through USB to my notebook, sd card file system crashes. Not always, but in 70% of cases. Formatting (FAT32) helps only. If i unmount the card, take it out of the phone and put it directly to the pc, it works fine, file sys never crashes.I have tried two different 4Gb Class 4 SD cards. Operared fine in phone, but same problem occured when connected to pc.I always unmount drive from windows before usb cable removal.Very annoying to take out the card for safe file transfer.Also GPS needs sometimes even 10-20+ mins to find satellites. I dont't think this is normal. Or is it?

However, I only got to "I'm in D", as when I pressed C (I was using qwerty keyboard), the whole thing closed. It happened several times, and I could only respond once I turned predictive text off. Now, every time I try to just type in "DC" in the message with predictive text on, the whole thing shuts down!Since this is a NAM phone, it's still running old firmware (wonder why updates are only available to phones in some parts of the world and not other?). Did anyone else experience that? Does new firmware fix it? Or am I again the only unlucky one with the weirdest bug
I am using the official charger that came with my iphone 5. one it doest charge just shows the "this cable or accessory is not certified......" i used another cable and it works just fine. but i when i use the official charger that came with it doesn't charge. just the same error.

Ok, I'd like to get this right for once and for all. I'm challenging the Move message to Mass storage feature. These are the steps:
0) I have two message in my Inbox, Remove and replace the battery and switch on the device. After that I format E:Mass Storage and close File manager
1) In Messaging Options I select Settings and than Other and change the Memory in user to E:Mass Storage
2) I'm asked if I'd like to "copy all messages to the new message memory". I click on "Yes"
3) I'm asked if I'd like to "Save original messages" and I click "No" as I'd like to use the new stoage exclusively
After that the Inbox is empty.
So I re configured the mail boxes as the Nokia Flagship N97 mini thrashed these. Yet after going through The Wizard of Ovi settings the mailboxes don't work as advertised nor as before. It downloads the headers correctly (although not complete) but opening an E-Mail instead of displaying the message shows an error message: Unable to display the rest of message.
In what way do I correctly open E-Mails on the N97 Mini?
Everything was working fine on my N8, but it just started to select an accessory as defult and after that is selected, it won't go back to normal.
If you connect the headphones, and they dissconect them, it keeps thinking that they are connected and the loudspeaker doesn't work, during calls I can't hear anything..
I went into settings-> phone-> accessories -> and the defult is set to headset.. but once I select headphones (which i didn't have to do before) it never goes back when I restard the phone, it shows the headphones icon, but there are no headphones connected to the phone..
my 808 keeps disconecting from my wi-fi whenever i move to a differant room or leave the phone for awhile

Software update on phone tells me to go online and get it done there. So I do and it downloads ok, all 272MB of it, but it keeps on disconnecting when trying to install to the N8. The phone switches off and stays off. I leave it for 10 minutes because of a post I seen just to be on the safe side but still nothing.

I then spotted an issue where I wasn't able to browse the internet (or any other internet application for that matter) without disconnecting the WiFi connection every time I want to load a new website or load a new page in the Ovi Store. The Router I am using is only running 54 Mbps, and I'm now using it with the password disabled, just to try if that changed anything, it didn't. I havn't been able to try using a 3G connection yet, as my service provider has somehow failed at supplying me with it at the moment.

View 2 Replies View RelatedMy 5530XM is acting up again (v.11 firmware). The symptoms are random disconnects from WLAN and, after doing a soft reset, unable to put shortcuts on the home screen (using the Shortcuts theme). I really think the problem is with the memory card because I can't turn the phone on with the card inside.
Is there a way to scan/repair problems with the memory card? I really, really want to avoid a hard reset. Last time I did that, I lost all my apps from the memory card (I have the Games Edition). I can try using PC Suite or Ovi Suite to back up my memory card apps, but I don't trust the suites that much. What I'd like to do is drag and drop my memory card apps to another location in my PC, but I cannot see the memory card apps in Windows Explorer.
