View 1 Replies View RelatedI am having this Xperia Mini Pro in my family since May 2012. When I purchased, it came with GB, and very soon there after, the update/upgrade to ICS was released. The upgrade was duly installed through the PC Companion.
I had initially noticed that there is no "Automatic" option under Menu → Settings → Display → Brightness. But then, the handset was in use mainly by my wife and I didn't think much about it since she always keeps the brightness at maximum or near there. Recently we swapped handsets and since I'm a heavy user, I looked for the setting to reduce battery usage, but couldn't find it!
I thought there must be some miss/bug in the software. I downloaded "Andro Sensor" from the market and there is no "Ambient Light Sensor" shown by that app! In fact, it says Light sensor not supported - see screen shot below:
Where as in the "White Paper on SK17" found on Sony's website [URL], at page 5, it says "Yes" against "Ambient Light Sensor".
My question is whether the sensor is there in the production version or not? It is there, then it appears the sensor in my handset is not working and needs repair/replacement under warranty?
After the recent update to 4.1.B.0.587, I observe that my display brightness fluctuates randomly, and this happens very often.
I've just noticed that after upgrading I cannot power off my iphone, when I try to switch it off I see apple logo again...
Info:
iPhone 4, iOS 5.1

View 1 Replies View RelatedI have bought a X10 mini pro on ebay and replaced the 2GB card by a 16GB sdhc. I copied the contents of the former onto the latter via my PC.Since I did that, the phone starts to play one of the mp3 tracks I copied to it (always the same) as soon as I connect the USB cable, regardless whether it's for synchronising or charging. The song is not played by the audio player app - if I start a track there, then I here both at the same time. Killing all processes doesn't stop it either. The only way is to switch off the phone. Switching it on again doesn't restart the music, unless the cable is removed and plugged in again.Obviously this is more of an oddity than a problem, but it is somewhat annoying, especially since I usually intend to fill the battery when connecting the phone, not drain it with a song on its lips.
View 6 Replies View RelatedI was downgrade the OS and the PC restart automatic during the process and it now won't turn on anymore. All it does now is blinking twice in RED LED. DM not detect it and nothing on the screen. Is there anyway to recover this phone?

View 3 Replies View RelatedI plugged my x10 into my Macbook Pro with Sony Bridge for Mac installed and the touchscreen suddenly stopped working. When I unplugged the cable the touchscreen remained unresponsive but then after a while it became responsive for half a minute before going off again. All this time the phone keeps telling me I've got new email coming through but I don't know where that email is. Now I'm getting texts but I cannot read them.
How can I get my touchscreen to work again? This appears to be a software problem? Can I read or export SMS messages without using the touchscreen?
I would erally need to back up my SMS if I need to wipe the phone but so far have not found a way to do this. I have never updated the system of the phone so I assume it's still in the original factory OS.
Recently i have purchased Nokia 5233 mobile and i activated Mobile Office. Now i am facing a problem like once i exit from internet GPRS connection resumes automatically. Even i tried to disconnect connectivity from Options --> Connectivity --> Connection Manager --> Disconnect. But i couldn't stop resume GPRS connection. I did enquire with SIM customer care they said whether it would be problem with virus.
But i have installed Trend Micro software and i did manual scan for virus. It founf 0 virus.Whether is it problem with virus or software / hardware?
Kindly suggest me how to resolve from automatic restart of GPRS connections.
After a software check using the update service, i restarted the device and the settings icon ( to access all device configuration , wireless settings etc..) was missing. Any known solution to restore it without a full reinstall ? I am on android 2.1.
