Is it possible to have my BlackBerry to turn off automatically but I switch it back on whenever I want? I've tried the auto on/off but it asks for the timing of which it will be back on.
View 7 RepliesI was downgrade the OS and the PC restart automatic during the process and it now won't turn on anymore. All it does now is blinking twice in RED LED. DM not detect it and nothing on the screen. Is there anyway to recover this phone?
View 4 Replies View RelatedCurrent OS 5.0.0.681...I try to reboot 4-5 times and get the same result after word "verifying security software" my curve was shutdown.I try to reinstall OS and downgrade OS to old version but can not help.But it's can reboot in "save mode" , if I leave BB for 5-10 mins in save mode the screen will shut down but BB still working, it can receive a call in save mode.This problem should be focus in "software" or "hardware", anyone can tell me?
View 5 Replies View RelatedI have my HTC sensation for little over a month now, and up until four days ago there were never any problems whatsoever aside from normal use issues. But since then I have had several occasions upon which the phone just shut down for no reason. Four days ago it was the first time, and from then on once a day. But yesterday it shut itself down for THREE times within four hours.
This is becoming quite the nuisance since i can't recall having installed anything that could cause this nor have i dropped the phone and I don't know what the problem could possibly be, I've thought it might be a battery issue or something?
the shutdowns appeared to be during the same time of day, namely from 16:00 to 21:00, never before or after this period (but maybe this will change in the future).
Customer service center said to update the software and it wont hang , after updating the software also the same problem im facing does any one have

View 3 Replies View RelatedI've been using a daily horoscope program with no problem since I first got my phone a few months ago. Today when I went to use it, it told me an update was available, so I choose to accept the update. When it asked if I wanted to reboot/restart the phone now or later, I selected now. The phone proceeded to update the software and now I can't use my phone at all.
I tried connecting my phone to my computer so I could restore it, but desktop manager says it can't communicate with my phone. And when I plug in the power cord, my phone doesn't even register that it's charging up. So, since so much of my life is connected to my phone, and I can't use my phone at all, I'm squirming. Of course, AT&T online tech support is closed Sundays; I guess nobody else has a phone emergency on Sundays. All I get is a white screen that tells me to reload software.
Sometime my sensation will automatic restart...and the battery level from 85% drow to 3%. What problem with it?

I have recently had some problems with my BB 8900. My BB just suddenly shut down and when i tried to turn it back on it just didn't work. When I try to charge it by USB cable it looks like it charging, and when the red light goes off, the screen turns white and there is a battery with a lightning running trough it. I really do not know what to do. I tried to take out and put the battery back in, but I get the same response.

Even i tried to disconnect connectivity from Options --> Connectivity --> Connection Manager --> Disconnect. But i couldn't stop resume GPRS connection. I always took the back of the phone off too so that it wasn't coming through 2 little holes through the top. View 5 Replies View Relatedhi. had 8900 for few months on orange uk with data plan. have been using email, internet and windows live and blackberry messenger all fine using either wi fi or mobile now all of a sudden its stop working and i cant use none. when i try to connect to internet i get a msg say this is a wi fi service please ensure your device has a wi fi connection , bb messenger wont send mgs or receive windows live jus says this service is not enabled for this handheld. ive contacted orange but they havnt helped they did say it could be a update of facebook causing problem?. have tried removing battery and restoring removed service books etc nothings fixed. can anyone help plz?

However whenever I check for updates via the blackberry site the desktop manger pops up and does not offer this upgrade. All it says it 4.6.1 (current) and the rest are downgrades, so I'm not quite sure what I need to do to get the new OS to even appear, much less download it and work.

A red light links and it gets off. override I have to restart the phone. Many times it again shutdown within minutes of restarting the same.
