View 3 RepliesMy X10i battery is showing some weird problems, so before trying a new battery, i am wanting to reset the phone through SEUS.But here is another problem - due to some problem at the charging port in phone, my phone can only charge through charger via electric outlet, and no charging or data transfer possible any longer through the data cable via computer or laptop [this is confirmed by SE customer care; as per them, entire motherborad of the phone need to be changed to correct the problem, which is a very costly affair (a little over half of the current phone price) so i am avoiding that]. is there any other way to reset/update my phone - like through memory card or OTA - so that i can try to cross- check the battery problem? If yes, then how? Secondly, under these circumstances will i be able to upgrade the phone as an Android 2.3 upgrade is due on August?

View 3 Replies View RelatedSince updating my D6503 to Lollipop 5.0.2 (Build 23.1.A.0.726) yesterday, I can't connect to my workplace's Wi-Fi anymore. I'm still able to connect to my home and public Wi-Fi networks.
Â
My workplace network settings:
WPA2 EnterpriseEAP method: PEAPPhase 2 authentication: MSCHAPV2CA certificate: (Unspecified)DHCP server.I am able to connect to this network using my credentials on other devices - but my Xperia Z2 just refuses to establish a connection. I've tried "forgetting" the network, restarting the phone (including in safe mode). No success.
I am extremely disappointed with Sony.I purchased my first sony phone Xperia mini Pro. With GB all 3 G data connection and all network connections worked perfectly fine.Upgraded to official ICS. Now I can not connect to 3 G data network at all.Wasted almost 2 days thinking that this is a problem with my network service provider. After searching Google it looks like bug in Sony ICS upgrade. I had a high respect for Sony. Now I feel terrible. I feel my switching from Nokia to Sony is a big mistake.I am from India. Can any body tell me how to fix this problem on ICS on Sony Xperia Mini pro.Should I go back to GB ?

View 1 Replies View RelatedI'm sure the title set off a few noob alarms Everything I've read online says USB 3.0 is backwards compatible with USB 2.0. I recently bought a pair of Anker micro USB 3.0 cables from Amazon UK (can't post a link). When I use these to try to connect my Samsung S5 to my computers, I get mixed results.
On my desktop: plugging into a USB 3.0 port on the motherboard works fine. The USB front panel of my case is USB 2.0 only. Plugging the phone into these ports using the Anker cable results in the phone only charging, Windows does see it. These ports work fine with the phone if I use a micro USB 2.0 cable.
On my laptop, all the ports as USB 2.0. Plugging the phone into the standard ports results in the phone only charging, Linux does mount the phone. However, plug the phone into the yellow "always on" port and my phone is detected.Do I have duff cable, duff phone or there some odd incompatibility here?

i bought an iphone 6 but when i connect my iphone to my windows 7 laptop via the usb cable, nothing happens. My iphone doesnt charge or connect to itunes or my computer. But everytime i plug my iphone to computer, i hear the sound that confirms its connected.
Its not the usb cable's fault because i used the same cable to connect my ipod 5 to computer and everything worked normally. My itunes is also up to date. Why my computer knows the iphone is plugged in but doesnt do anything about it?
