Since a recent upgrade, my phone no longer shows 'connect in media transfer mode' in the bar when attached with usb. It shows 'SD card connected". This isn't mentioned in the guide. How do I transfer media files now?
View 2 RepliesFor over a week I am not being able to connect my phone in MTP mode, Mass Storage Mode" just work fine I had this issue before and it got resolved automatically, However I was facing issues such as intermittent GPRS connectivity so few weeks before i did repair using the SEUS. The phone was working fine and I had great battery backup than ever before also I learned how to manage RAM and installed apps. Everything was going fine but all of the sudden I'm not being able to connect in MTP mode in PC companion it just says "No Phone Connected". Another serious issue is phone does not charge when connected to my laptop in MTP but the arc light in the phone shows its charging. I already try reinstalling PC companion but still the same.

View 4 Replies View RelatedMy iPhone 5 is suddenly stuck in recovery mode. It won't turn on, the connect to iTunes logo just shows up. I really don't want to restore it because I have 300+ pictures from vacation that have not yet been synced to my photo stream. I guess my question is is there anyway that I can kick my phone out of recovery mode long enough to get those photos in my stream without restoring it? I know there are programs on the Internet that claim to do this but I doubt they work.

View 1 Replies View RelatedI've just updated to 2.1 and installed PC Companion and Media Go, hoping this would relieve my pain with trying to transfer music to my phone (has an 8gb sd card)... all I've ended up with is more problems as the phone dismounts from the usb connection while trying to transfer music. Strange part is it disappears from Media Go, but is still listed as connected on PC Companion and the phone says it's still connected!?!

View 3 Replies View RelatedI have a problem when i try to connect my z5 compact to pc companion using wifi. it said " can not connect to pc companion using wifi " when i try pairing my old xperia ZL it works without any problem. and then i noticed that there is no option for wireless media transfer in connectivity menu.

Since upgrading to Version 5.0.1 neither the media manger nor blackberry media synch now work. the media manager always prompts to install and downloads but then does nothing. The blackberry media sync gets so far after launch the gives an error message. I have tried uninstalling and reinstalling a number of times but cannot get the media manager to install so cannot now get any media off my phone or on to it. Any ideas anyone?
View 5 Replies View RelatedI'm trying to add some ringtones to my Torch. They are there and I can see them in the file manager or when I sync to my Mac. But when I go to the ringtones folder, they are not listed. There is an option to select music for a ringtone, so I put the mp3 file in the music folder along with other music files, but none show up.
The same thing happens when I take pictures with the phone. If I look at the pictures folder, it says no pictures. But if I go through file manager to the media card, I can see the pictures.
I cant pick up call when my display is dark/sleep. It is only ringing and when i try to press power button to show display its reject that call.

However it connects in MSC(Mass storage) mode. I am extremely disappointed with Sony.I purchased my first sony phone Xperia mini Pro. With GB all 3 G data connection and all network connections worked perfectly fine.Upgraded to official ICS. Now I can not connect to 3 G data network at all.Wasted almost 2 days thinking that this is a problem with my network service provider.After searching Google it looks like bug in Sony ICS upgrade. I tried to restart both the box and the phone. Tried the repair option. Stamina mode is off. Data too.
I can't connect my smartphone to PC using multimedia mode. Drivers for USB devise MTP can't be installed. Some time ago everything worked normally. I use Sony PC Companion v. 2.10.053.
