I can't connect my smartphone to PC using multimedia mode. Drivers for USB devise MTP can't be installed. Some time ago everything worked normally. I use Sony PC Companion v. 2.10.053.

My Xperia mini pro does not connect to my PC (Windows 7) in MTP(Media Transfer) mode. It is telling driver installation failed. However it connects in MSC(Mass storage) mode. I changed USB ports, Uninstalled and reinstalled PC companion few times, uninstalled from Device manager of PC and allowed it to reinstall, but not successful. Where can i obtain the correct driver for MTP mode?

View 2 Replies View RelatedThe multimedia key on my Nokia N79 is broken (nr 3 in the picture). My plan was to map the 'multimedia menu' functionality on the left selection key (nr 2). But the 'multimedia menu' doesn't appear in the list of possible mappings. It is also impossible to reach the 'multimedia menu' via the normal menu.
Conclusion: if the multimedia key is broken, it appears that it is impossible to use the 'multimedia menu'
Does anyone know a workaround? Or, if Nokia is reading this, can you add the 'multimedia menu' to the mapping-options for the selection keys?

Yes it is in auto rotate with full animations on. Tried repair from SE companion, hard and soft reset but to no avail.
When i check services using the *#*#7378423#*#* request, accelerometer appears to work just fine as does the Slide flip Keyboard count. I originally thought it might of been hardware fault. But these tell me otherwise.
Although, admittedly it did switch to portrait view once for a split second whilst sliding the keyboard in half way. I haven't been able to replicate it since.
I have a very annoying problem with my Xperia Mini. I put it in silent mode, but it comes out of silent mode every half or full hour. This is really embarassing during meetings, etc. This was the problem in original android. Then I upgraded android to 4 ICS. After the upgrade, it was more stable for some time, but now the problem has started again. Does anyone else have this problem?

View 3 Replies View Relatedi have bought my x10 mini and i am update it from android 1.6 to android 2.1 by myself using sony PC companion. yes , i am able to install it in about 1 hour , i have notice that the battery consumption after the update is terrible, battery would not recover although the screen is turn off , battery temperature is about 34 deg celcius.I am then turn off all the data transfer , wifi , GPS, background process , kill all the running app application and measure the battery consumption rate !!! it give me 20 minute/percent of battery which is very not desired ! For "my" X10 mini SE 2.1 update ecleair got bug on CPU management, it run continously without going to sleep mode!

The phone was working fine and I had great battery backup than ever before also I learned how to manage RAM and installed apps. Everything was going fine but all of the sudden I'm not being able to connect in MTP mode in PC companion it just says "No Phone Connected". Another serious issue is phone does not charge when connected to my laptop in MTP but the arc light in the phone shows its charging. I already try reinstalling PC companion but still the same.

It is somehow stuck in a reset loop, it starts in safe mode, is locked and won't allow me to press any buttons at all. Once it is turned on i have to remove the battery to turn it off. My warranty has run out for this phone now but I do like it and don't currently have the money to get a new one really.
