Aug 13, 2012When i bought my phone, there are three musics there, since i dont like the songs i tried to delete them but it says cannot delete system file.

Nov 2, 2011So I just got a microSD card for my Xoom and understand that I'm not able to simply move movies and music using the internal file system from the Xoom internal memory to the SD card. So fine, I'll re-copy them from my PC to the SD card.But what about when my Google Music syncs, is it going to copy the Music to SD card with the other copied music? or still in internal memory? What about camera pictures and movies? Can you set it to save on the SD card? It take it apps cannot be 'moved to media area' either?onder when Google is going to fix these restrictions to their file system. 10 months later after release of Honeycomb seems a bit long to fix a basic file system function.

Jun 12, 2010I have approx 590 MP3 music tracks on my 5230 4gb memory card and I want to delete them all and start afresh. I have deleted the playlist but obviously my music is still there. I then tried to delete all my tracks by marking them all and then deleting but I got "general system error" message. Am trying to delete too many tracks at once, or is there a way of deleting them, or formatting my memory card to clear everything? I know I could take my card out and use a PC/card reader to clean but I didn't want to remove the card if possible.

It should be saved to the e: mass memory, but there is no settings in the application where to change the save location?. The phone automatically makes a folder named "Ovi Music Downloads" in the memory card. It should be created in the mass memory.

Although i have tried reinstalling windows media player, Ovi player etc., but those certain files just redownload in few seconds and also they have Unknown Artists and unknown Albums with them. Mar 21, 2010I do have a few months old X6, which has worked quite fine so far. Now, surprisingly Music Player gives just "System Error" when trying to use it i.e. trying to play a song from the lists. I can play the songs direct from the X6 file manager, but not by the Music Player.
I've done all the normal stuff, e.g. installed firmware again, hard reset, etc. without any success. Seems to be that the library index, or related has been corrupted. Library updating does not work neither. Any ideas? Does anyone now where to find the library index (or related) file to be deleted? And furthermore to re-build the index again?

Sep 18, 2011i had transferred my music downloaded on my phone to my pc but was unable to play it on the pc then i registered my pc on the ovi player still cant play the files it says that the songs are protected under microsoft VRM & needs small update which i tried to run but it continues to say that cant connect to internet whereas i m connected to the internet.
also the musc i had trasferred on to my pc when i m trying to transfer the files back to my device the pc it does not allow me & says that this content requires licence...

Jun 26, 2011I know this has been posted like a hundred times or more and I've followed all the threads around this but if anyone has a new suggestion that would be REALLY apreciated .Have a C-5 with latest firmware. Has around 365 songs in it now but when i add new ones it doesn't see them.Have tried refresh, trashed the databases etc. Reformated the card and loaded them back bit by bit and that worked and then added 9 new ones - that worked. Played it this morning for a few hours and tried to ad some more. Doesn't see them in the refresh. Card is a Sandisk 4gb - should be good - no bad sectors etc
