I am wondering how to adjust the speed of playback of MP3 files. I like to listen to books and some readers are really slow. With Windows Media Player, I can set the playback to 1.4 and not go nuts waiting for them to sound out each word. How can I do this on my Nokia C6-00?

I have a new HTC one M8 and a 64gb sd card. Last week my phone deleted an album that was playing fine. Put the songs back on the phone, played for a couple of days and now says that won't play - "unable to play this type of audio file".

So I've just found that I have lost all the controls on my Samsung Galaxy S5 whilst playing videos in the video player.Normally whilst playing a video, a simple tap on the screen you can pause, seek, rewind, screenshot, and adjust brightness volume and play speed.These options are now all totally gone, like they never existed. I've killed the video player in running apps, and also restarted my device and the still the controls are not back,.

With the T-Mobile wireless broadband I can browse stations, but when trying to play a station it states "Playback Failed". When trying to connect through my w/lan (which works, as I can use it to browse the internet) the "Internet Radio Applet" states "No Network Connection". After trying this several times I have uninstalled the applet from the phone memory and installed it again in the 8 GB mass memory. No change - the same problems persist. What is wrong with Internet Radio on the N95 8GB?

View 1 Replies View RelatedI just got this last week in the hopes of replacing my ageing Garmins (Edge 705 for the bike and Forerunner 405 for runs) and have just put in 2 short rides over the weekend. I manage a couple of online training sites (don't ask me why) including the awesome Sportracks and these typically can either import .CSV or .TCX files.So I got the CSV exported from the MotoACTV website and basically imported it wholesale into Sportracks. Also I used an online tool to convert the CSV to TCX where I upload to Garminconnect and Strava (online). What I observed is that the speed shows 'spikes and dips' I guess overall the average speed will be the same over distance and I've checked this to be true but what with the 'spikes and dips'? This has basically sent the power estimation algorithm in Strava and Sportracks to overestimate the power due the the sudden deceleration 'dips' and sudden acceleration 'recovery from dips'. I don't see the same issue on the speed curve on the motoactv site itself.

The issue I am having is the vocals are horrible. Can barely hear them and they sound like I am in a empty hall. When I am listening out of the phone speaker all sounds fine. Should I be connecting a different way? Or is there a setting I am missing somewhere? I tried playing with the built in eq but not much difference.

However, the phone does not recognize files when I go to Nokia Music application. Software says that all the Music "folders" (Albums, Genres etc.) are empty. I have tried putting the mp3 files in all possible folders ( music, documents etc) on phone, but no luck. I have also tried several different mp3 files.

Although i have tried reinstalling windows media player, Ovi player etc., but those certain files just redownload in few seconds and also they have Unknown Artists and unknown Albums with them. My Galaxy S6 keeps randomly pausing music playback while I have it connected to the aux input in my car for no apparent reason. Phone is rooted on the stock AT&T Rom and has been restored via ODIN twice without any change. It did this before root as well without change. I have disabled nuplayer in the dev settings and tried resyncing my library multiple times thinking it was due to corrupted files. This clearly is a samsung issue and seems to be apparent with older generations of the Galaxy series as well. Having to keep fiddling with the damn phone while I'm driving to unpause the music, raise the volume past the warning, just to do it again a few minutes later. Tried the stock music app as well as doubletwist, no changes. Could this be caused by some motion sensing feature that needs to be disabled?

View 10 Replies View RelatedI do have a few months old X6, which has worked quite fine so far. Now, surprisingly Music Player gives just "System Error" when trying to use it i.e. trying to play a song from the lists. I can play the songs direct from the X6 file manager, but not by the Music Player.
I've done all the normal stuff, e.g. installed firmware again, hard reset, etc. without any success. Seems to be that the library index, or related has been corrupted. Library updating does not work neither. Any ideas? Does anyone now where to find the library index (or related) file to be deleted? And furthermore to re-build the index again?
Anyone else experiencing this issue. When playing music and ipod player open, when I want to unlock phone and go back to homescreen, the sound briefly cuts out and goes silent for split second.

I've had this phone for nearly a month, but I've only been able to play the Slacker radio app once. For five minutes. I've tried Pandora and SoundCloud as well, even switched between WiFi and mobile data at home and on my university campus with no luck. I just get a playback error from SoundCloud.

When I use the speaker option for hands free phone calls, it's loud and you can clearly hear, but not so with playing music or a video.
