I have nokia E90 and i had the firmware version 3 on it when the V4 was released i could do an update for it easly with no problems, but now i want to reinstall the V4 firmware but it says no new updates for my mobile?and no REINSTALL option found?please help me with it as my product code is:0562934.

is there anyway i can reinstall c3 firmware, since i have 7.20 rm-614. im facing a couple of bugs like there numbers in my call log that aren't even my contacts, i still see their names & cant even delete thm either it says "invalid selection". (even after restore factory settings).. plus my conversations menu showing a couple of msgs as standalone. apart from that i cant see Internet videos no matter what i do. i've followed a way to do it, a lot of people were succesful in doing it but i cant get it to work. i guess reinstalling firmware might work.

View 22 Replies View RelatedAfter the 5.0 update, I went to add my Moto 360 as a trusted device and when I went to the Smart Lock menu option under Security settings I was surprised that there wasn't a Smart Lock menu option in there.
This is right out of the release notes from motorola: "Android Lollipop adds native support for allowing trusted devices to keep your phone unlocked (such as your Moto 360, a Bluetooth car kit or headset, etc.). Smart Lock replaces the prior trusted device capability in your Motorola phone. Note that you will need to add your trusted devices back after the transition to Lollipop in the Security settings menu under Smart Lock."
Noticed this option missing when your Moto X 2014 was upgraded to Lollipop.

However, when trying to connect via BT in Ovi suite I get the message "Device not found". I have tried reinstalling Ovi Suite, updating Ovi Suite to the last version, unpairing the phone and PC... Windows 7 has no trouble finding and pairing it but Ovi Suite just doesn't find it....

I am needing some help with re-installing Prismic Wallpaper Manager that I had bought and installed whilst I was running on Global f/w. Now I am back on UK 51, it doesn't run the install when I double click on the DEB file. Got the following advice back from their support desk:
Do you have the latest firmware? If so you can simply open the .deb in the File Manager program and it will install. If you don't, you can use XTerm (you may need to 'sudo gainroot')and run:
dpkg -i prismicwm_1.4.4_armel.deb
In which ever directory you've put the file, this should install it. If it complains about dependencies, do: apt-get install packagename. Where packagename is whatever it's complaining about (eg. gnome-python). So please can you re-interpret it into step-by-step?

I've tried to update or reinstall PC Suite, but each time I try I get the messageOlder version of Nokia Connectivity Driver cannot be removed. Contact support I've uninstalled PC Suite, but now it wont let me re-install it.
View 8 Replies View Relatedi have 5233 after i had updated my phone software to v12.1.092(via phone fota) i had to hard reset the phone due to some problem. now my problem is solved but the social networking widgets that came with the phone are not preset like facebook,Internet,etc also something called api bridge is not installed. then i updated my phone software to v21.1.004(via phone fota) but still i don't have those widgets.
after the hard reset i had done for some days i sometimes used to get popup which said installing and it used to load for a few seconds and said cannot install unauthorized software on memory card and install would fail. i have no problems with my phone but want to know how to reinstall all the preinstalled widgets that the phone came with.
I think I lost them either after Belle Refresh or either after the hard reset. I tried reinstalling the software but I still dont have them. Is there any way I could download them?

I was about to download Opera Mini 4.2 for my Bold 9700 w/ 5.0 firmware. Opera's website doesn't show a version for the 9700 so I was going to download the version for the 9000. The only problem is the 9000 version doesn't have the 5.0 firmware option available. What version are you guys using on your 9700's?

View 4 Replies View RelatedI have received this week my new N900. Everything superb until last Friday when I was in my car listening music through the A2DP profile (stereo bluetooth), received a call, was using also 3G and all this meanwhile the N900 was plugged to the car charger (borrowed from a N97). That was quite usual with my HTC Diamond. But suddenly when I left the car the N900 bricked, so I restarted but since then the only thing I could see is the NOKIA logo with the white wallpaper.
Later at home i tried to remove the battery, put it back again, plugged to the adapter and i could see a small usb logo on the right top corner. Then I followed the guides found here to flash und update the firmware (flasher-3.5 and so on, with my windows 7 pc). First I reinstalled the latest firmware file (.bin) and it seems to be OK, with no error comand. Then I rebooted the N900 but the result was the same, it stopped 30-40 segs later and switch off. I though it was also necessary to do the eMMC, so i repeated following the new steps, but in this case i found these messages from the flasher:
-USB not found
-USB raw data transfer EP found at EP2
-SU_GET_UPDATE_STATUS_REQ terrminated with error code 1.
I have no idea what do they mean but the case is that now I can see no usb logo on the top when I plug the usb adapter (either USB or AC), so it is now impossible to comunicate with the pc. I have tried again to remove the battery, even in a Nokia center with another battery from the 8500 which i didn't know was the same, but no result. The most strangest thing is that the N900 refuses to be charged as once it is plugged to the AC, a yellow light appears and on the screen I can only see the nokia logo on a dark backlight (as I said, with no usb logo now), but 30 segs later it is continously switching off.
I am already mentally prepared to ask Nokia for a replacement, but I still resist to accept there is no solution to revive this little but complex device.
if i try to search using the browse function, i keep getting for any section is "no results found" is there server down or something cause it was working fine the other day.

It would find my router at home and conect to it, it would find wireless hotspots everywhere and connect to them etc... Now, all of the sudden, it will not find anything anymore. Even if I am standing in front of my router, it will say "No WLAN network found".
I just updated her phone to the newest firmware and reset everything to factory defaults, and the phone still refuses to find any WLAN's. I went into the menu and made sure that it does show WLAN availability etc...
When i try to flash my n900 it says usb device not found. waiting. when i connect my n900 in usb mode it does nothing.im using windows vista please help!

View 14 Replies View RelatedI bought a N900 from UAE last week and I am using it in Surat, Gujarat, all works fine but I am not able to find nokia messaging to configure email accounts and also I am not able to connect any widgets or messenger( msn, gmail, yahoo) on the phone. Only I am able to browse internet on the maemo browser and firefox which I installed later. Please give me any tips or tricks how can I get it up and working. As even if I try to configure the default email account of hotmail or gmail, it is configured quickly but cannot send receive emails in the inbox. Just gets the error message " could connect to imap and or server proxy port number is wrong. Tried all I could from the help of service providers, but no luck as they are all totally unaware of any settings regarding this phone in India. Please people help me with this..

View 5 Replies View RelatedI've just bought a Nokia 5800 and downloaded the latest version of Ovi Maps. I'd rather use this in offline mode, and it works well about 60% of the time. But quite often I get the error "route not found" when I try and set a route. The only way round this is to go online, and then a route can always be found.Having looked on the web I see a lot of people are having this problem but I haven't found a definitve fix yet. I've tried unistalling and reinstalling but the problem persists.

Above that I get a "route not found". I dont get this problem selecting walk. If I configure the application to be on-line then I can create a drive of any length.I've tried removing the application and maps and then reinstalling but get the same problem.
View 32 Replies View Relatedi have since transferred a bunch of music from my PC to my phone. however, only about 10% of all albums were able to automatically include the album art. alternatively, i had to manually add the album art for each album - provided if the album art could be found in the gallery. what's curious is that, when connected by usb to my PC, and because adobe photo starter pops up by default for any connected media device of mine, i could see that the album art images, which could not be found in the gallery (and hence unable to be manually added), were very well present somewhere in my phone. clearly, i have trouble locating them. furthermore, whenever i delete an album art image from my gallery, i can kiss the said album art goodbye from the album/music app too. my questions are:
1) where are the album art images which are floating somewhere in my phone/memory card ie. how can i locate them?...........
