I think I lost them either after Belle Refresh or either after the hard reset. I tried reinstalling the software but I still dont have them. Is there any way I could download them?

View 19 Replies View RelatedHow to get the video editor back? I had to do a hard reset a few weeks ago after FP1 came out as the phone wouldn't start. Nokia Suite (initially) wouldn't reflash, saying a SIM card was needed (which was in) but beta labs kindly took note of the error report and released a new Nokia Suite that did allow a reflash. This didn't reinstall the video editor however. I took my phone to a Nokia care point prior to this but they couldn't install it either.

When launching camera I can record video without any problem but when switching to photo mode nothing appear, it enter the interface to take the photo but no image appear on the screen. View 8 Replies View RelatedHad some real problems with my N8 so it's been to the Nokia Repair Shop and had a complete rebuild. Everything seemed alright apart from the Conversations feature, often when I send a text message within it, an error message of 'Feature Not Supported' but after a number of attempts it eventually sends.
That's fine for people I have sent messages to but it seems when I send a new message to a new contact just through creating a new message I get an error of 'Message Editor: Feature Not Supported' which means I can't wish my friend Happy Birthday today!!!! This happens all the time when using the New Message function. I've tried to restore to factory defaults but with no luck.
Symbian has been around for a very long time but I'm still struggling to find asimple free text editor where I can create a *.txt file and write down information in it or perhaps I don't know about it, so I was wondering is anyone familiar in any free text editor compatible with Belle?

View 10 Replies View RelatedI was trying to edit some photos by using crop function in iphone. It seems to be fine before I upgrade to 5.1.
Iphone will hang after croping about 5 photos and then the phone will reboot itself. I had tried many times and it will happen in the same photo.
If I skip editing that photo and then it will face the problem in another photo later on.

Every time I try to crop a picture or use their "auto edit" from just the standard run of the mill gallery, it exits out. I've restarted the phone, taken the battery out, cleared the cache, i'm at a loss and it's SO annoying. What can I do???

Someone sent me a photo. How ever they took it its not the correct orientation.I know I can zoom rotate and all of that, but I would like to save it in the correct orientation.Seems like there is not option for that on the Storm2.

I just bought a brand the N8 a couple of days ago, and went to change the caller photo on one of my friends, so that I'd see his ugly face when he was calling me. I'm not sure how I messed this up but that now everyone in my phonebook has his face stuck to the background of the call-screen whenever I call someone or receive a call.
I tried to just rename the photo but then when I tried to make a call my phone would deny it. I simply could not make a call from it. How wasted is that?
So I rename the photo, reboot my phone, and I'm still calling everyone with his ugly face stuck to my ear.
When I try to resize a photo using the editing function in the Gallery, I'm unable to save the resized photo.I'll do the resize, tap on the "check mark" and then press on the "memory card" icon to save and nothing happens.If anyone can tell me how to save a resized photo as a copy for emailing while preserving the original large photo, that would be great.

Is there any remote possibility for Nokia to add a vignetting tool to the photo editors for the N8 (which would hopefully include the 808)?
Vignetting is a pretty powerful tool that can help isolate subjects and seems to be a bit of an oversight on Nokia's part to leave it out, considering how good the cams are and the editors have often a good amount of adjustments that save me from running to Lightroom or Silver Efex Pro all the time.
I synced my N8 with windows media player after the anna update but couldn't see any pictures in the photo app. Pictures are already on the device inside "pictures" (not "images") folder in E: drive. After playing a bit, i figured out that photos app only read the pictures inside "images" folder of E: drive. Is there any possible way to make photo app read files in the "pictures" folder or make Windows Media Player sync with the "images" folder instead of "pictures" folder.
