View 1 Replies View RelatedWas messing around with iMovie today. When doing a transition between a video and a picture the backing track virtually doubles in volume!
View 6 Replies View RelatedI have created a side by side comparison of the 2 devices captured and edited on 2 different iMovies.
The iPhone4 quality is awesome and not so far away on the quality of an HDSLR.

May u tell me where is the option for video editing in nokia n79?
View 4 Replies View RelatedI've had this phone for 2 weeks but haven't been able to find any video editing application. It's definitely listed in the specification. I've checked the menu when opening a file and there's no option to edit there either.
View 8 Replies View RelatedI think I lost them either after Belle Refresh or either after the hard reset. I tried reinstalling the software but I still dont have them. Is there any way I could download them?
View 4 Replies View RelatedHow to get the video editor back? I had to do a hard reset a few weeks ago after FP1 came out as the phone wouldn't start. Nokia Suite (initially) wouldn't reflash, saying a SIM card was needed (which was in) but beta labs kindly took note of the error report and released a new Nokia Suite that did allow a reflash. This didn't reinstall the video editor however. I took my phone to a Nokia care point prior to this but they couldn't install it either.

View 4 Replies View RelatedI am trying to get my videos from my iPhone 4 into my friend's macbook to edit in iMovie HD. I have my iPhone synced to my computer, so I do not want to sync with her itunes library.
In iMovie when i go to file->import, the iPhone is not an available device to select. I feel like I am being an idiot here....
I thought about emailing it to myself, but I've read that that compresses the file and I'm trying to get max quality.
Just curious. I don't see it in the app store yet. Does anyone have any info on it yet, like release date?

Fixes numerous things but more importantly it address the issue where the phone / app would crash if you tried exporting a vid with alot of still images.
Does anyone know where to find the new iMovie app on the app store? I do have the iphone 4 but I can't seem to find the app unless it's not released yet but Engadget did use it in their review.
View 7 Replies View RelatedI just got back from D.C. and would like to put together a little movie. I read a "manual" on Apple but it isn't right or I don't know how to read. I can put the pictures in and know how to mess with the transitions but how do I put in a Title and music? Forgive me if this is a stupid question, I was really thinking about taking my iPhone 4 to the closest Apple Store and have an Agent help me but I dont know if they will and it's an hour away.

View 10 Replies View RelatedI have purchased iMovie for my iPhone 4 about 1 year ago. It has been working fine, up until now since I updated to ios 5.1; where it will not transfer back to my phone after the update/restire. It is on my computer but cannot install on my iPhone. I keep getting a ''iMovie failed to install'' message appearing on my phone.
I just got off the phone with tech support regarding this issue and could get nothing out from the representant other than '' Sir, I cannot assist you unless you purchase the tech support package for 29.95$''
I legitimately purchased this app for 5.99, and now you're telling me to shove it?? I have made it very clear to the representant that I will never purchase a support plan, and she nonetheless insisted 5-6 times that I purchase it.
I will take that 29.95$, burn it, **** on it, and feed it to a cat before EVER surrendering it to Apple. What kind of company would not take responsibility for its own breakdowns.
I have owned two generations of iPods, I have an iPhone 4, and heck I was even considering getting a MacBook; but with HORRIBLE service like this, FORGET IT - ABSOLUTELY NOT. I find it very unfortunate that Apple sits up on their throne not giving a fudge about customer support, knowing all the rich twads will keep buying Apple products anyways.

I made a birthday movie in iMovie, for a friend - but I cant send it to her!I dont want to send it as email, FB, Twitter, I want to send it as a iMessage. On my Nokia it was sooo easy to transfer files, make folders for work files, send any file the way I want to and so on.I have used Mac since the late 80s, but I still cant find out how to send it!(My apple heart bleeds when I have to say, iPhone is not working well as a phone, or a help at work like the Nokia did, it is just a fun, fun, toy, as long as I dont want to make a movie on my MacBook Pro and send it on my iPhone...).

I was trying out iMovie and added a them with about 50 pictures. One question, how do you remove a picture once you've added it? When I see it on the timeline I only see an option to change the time.
Also when I export the movie I'm not sure that it's finishing as I can't find the finished product. Thought it would show up under Camera Roll or Photo Library.
Seems to me this product is still rough around the edges. Is there a good tutorial somewhere on Apple's site?
I dont no why but everytime I extract my iMovie video it says it was put into my camera roll but it isnt there.
View 4 Replies View RelatedI know the "share" option compresses videos. What about the old copy paste method? Or a third party app? Thoughts..Also, I heard the iMovie app can send non compressed videos. Can someone confirm this?

My iPhone 3 camcorder films will not import into iMovie, though they will import into a slideshow. Why is this? It happens when I "select All" of an album from iPhoto and input into iMovie, bt only the stills get inputted.

I was trying to edit some photos by using crop function in iphone. It seems to be fine before I upgrade to 5.1.
Iphone will hang after croping about 5 photos and then the phone will reboot itself. I had tried many times and it will happen in the same photo.
If I skip editing that photo and then it will face the problem in another photo later on.

At WWDC they made it sound like iMovie for iPhone 4 was the only way to edit and export movies shot on the iPhone 4. Is it possible to export the 720p video to the Mac or do I have to use iMovie for iPhone 4?
View 5 Replies View RelatedThis is done completely on iPhone using iMovie trailer templates. [URL] the only problem with iMovie trailer template is you can't add photos directly, where as you can add photos to project and make video out of it and then export them to camera roll there by selecting those videos in trailer template.

I leave location services off because it kills battery life, and I very rarely use it. Coupled with the graphical power needed for the iMovie app, the battery life is rather worse than with my normal settings. Other apps don't have this asinine need for location services to be turned on, so why does the Apple built iMovie app need to?
*Edit* I know that it does this so it knows which location to use on the Travel theme, but why isn't there an option to turn it off?
On vacations, I shoot various movies on my Iphone 4. It got full, so I transfered 1g of videos to a PC and then continued shooting. I went home, and cleared some space on the phone and wanted to transfer back the videos to the iPhone as to edit the whole videos/pictures with Imovie for iPhone.
Now I can't find a way to transfer these videos back to my phone without Itunes "optimizing" them.
Questions ?Is the optimizing process degrading the quality of videos and pictures so much that I need to find another way to transfer my files to the Iphone before I edit them in a new Imovie project ?
If so, how do I transfer full quality pictures and videos to my Iphone ? In a way that would enable me to use them in a Imovie project.
Also, I am using a PC with vista and an Iphone 4 with iOS 4.0.
This was shot and edited in 720p entirely on an iPhone 4 using iMovie. I received my iPhone 4 in the mail a day early and my friend didn't want to go wait for his alone, so I decide to go along and document the entire event with my new iPhone's HD camera. (Some of those in line were noticeably annoyed at my use of the new phone while they waited, but I tried to conceal it as much as possible). We got to the Santa Barbara State Street Apple Store around 5:30am and were about 25th in the reservation line. I had a ton of fun, and am so glad I went, Apple really knows how to release a product, maybe next time I'll just reserve it rather than get it shipped. EDIT: So I learned some tricks while editing that I thought I should share those for others playing around with iMovie
I typically work within Final Cut Pro when editing video, so going into iMovie I was met with several limitations, but I figured out a few workarounds for most of the issues I faced: Titles remain over an entire clip, so if you want titles just to appear at the beginning of a clip, (Like seen at the very beginning of my video) you must trim the end of a clip to the length you wish. Then import that same clip again, and trim the beginning to the length of your first clip. Make sure you remove the crossfade as well......
