I can no longer find the prestigious N8 photo editor and video editor in the menu after Belle refresh. Is anyone else experiencing this? Is this what should happen

I think I lost them either after Belle Refresh or either after the hard reset. I tried reinstalling the software but I still dont have them. Is there any way I could download them?

View 8 Replies View RelatedSince the Belle Refresh update on N8 I've been having a bug concerning text fields in the browser. When a text field is active and the keyboard is visible, clicking buttons on the screen will make you click other nearby links or buttons instead. For example, if you click Search in my attached image, the "Sign in" link will get clicked instead. That happens on other sites aswell. It also happens if you click on empty space with a link underneath it. As if the touch-screen area moves up a bit when the keyboard appears. Right now I'm using the enter key, but I'm still used to just clicking buttons on the screen.

Batterytime is beyond miserable now Removing the weather widget from the start screen did NOT solve the problem. 100 % certain it's the weather widget's fault. Nokia either needs to provide an update solution quickly or provide a way to completely remove the widget and NOT have it installed again upon connection to Nokia Suite
after updated to my nokia n8 anna version to belle i got succesfull. But i try to clear my ram it ask securuty code. I tried with default security code 12345 but no use. I never change my security code also from the date of purchase of my nokia n8.

View 3 Replies View RelatedI recently upgraded my Nokia C7-00 to Belle Refresh thinking that the update will sort out all the little glitches found in Belle. Only to discover that my C7 slows down to a crawl when the phone check for email or is busy accessing the internet. Also I have noticed that the sleeping screen application seems to be completely out of sync. When I press the menu button it takes a minute or so for sleeping screen to respond and then I have to wait a minute or some until the unlock responds on the device.

Nokia Suite (initially) wouldn't reflash, saying a SIM card was needed (which was in) but beta labs kindly took note of the error report and released a new Nokia Suite that did allow a reflash. This didn't reinstall the video editor however. I took my phone to a Nokia care point prior to this but they couldn't install it either.

View 9 Replies View RelatedI am unable to play Windows Media DRM files with Nokia Belle. This feature did work perfectly and without any issue on Symbian Anna SP1 that I was using. This time around I get no picture, just frames and garbled screen. The DRM license is valid, I did re-copy the files to Nokia N8 again since the DRM license was not preserved when I did backup my Nokia N8 before the update to Nokia Belle. There are no issues playing non-DRM files.I already regret upgrading to Nokia Belle due to the technical and user interface issue it already has (why are there two clocks on the main screen ?).I wish that I could downgrade securely back to Symbian Anna.

View 6 Replies View RelatedEverything on the 500 seems to work... except the video. I upgraded to Belle almost as soon as I got the phone... but under the Anna upgrade and now Belle I can't get any video. All I get is an error. What it will take to make the video work? The phone also has a tendency to run out of memory and crash but that doesn't happen often enough to make it really annoying, although I'm surprised it happens. I'm just trying the various options to video to reduce the quality of the video in the hope it will work, but so far no luck.
I suspect that given the buggy nature of the software we'll see at least one more update reasonably soon. I bought the phone specifically because it was Symbian... and so far (for the price) I'm pretty pleased. Nokia maps in particular were one of the main reasons it was Nokia over Android. Cheap parts prices, modular design and battery life were some of the other reasons. Only missing thing on this phone is a flash!!!
