I updated my nokia N8-00. it's not playing flv files and all other flash contents. First few seconds screen halts on the image of first frame of video then screen goes whte and flash player's symbol small "f " shows on top left corner. Although I have reinstalled Belle but problem still remains as it was.

View 4 Replies View RelatedI recently bought a Nokia 701 and I noticed that sometimes after receiving a call (That being after the call ends) if I was listening to the music player the music is slowed down and crackly after the call. (bug occurs atleast with headphones plugged in. Not sure if without. The music is distorted even after I remove my headphones.) This bug can be fixed with a restart.

View 1 Replies View RelatedI am unable to play Windows Media DRM files with Nokia Belle. This feature did work perfectly and without any issue on Symbian Anna SP1 that I was using. This time around I get no picture, just frames and garbled screen. The DRM license is valid, I did re-copy the files to Nokia N8 again since the DRM license was not preserved when I did backup my Nokia N8 before the update to Nokia Belle. There are no issues playing non-DRM files.I already regret upgrading to Nokia Belle due to the technical and user interface issue it already has (why are there two clocks on the main screen ?).I wish that I could downgrade securely back to Symbian Anna.

I upgraded to Belle almost as soon as I got the phone... but under the Anna upgrade and now Belle I can't get any video. All I get is an error. What it will take to make the video work? The phone also has a tendency to run out of memory and crash but that doesn't happen often enough to make it really annoying, although I'm surprised it happens. I'm just trying the various options to video to reduce the quality of the video in the hope it will work, but so far no luck.
I suspect that given the buggy nature of the software we'll see at least one more update reasonably soon. I bought the phone specifically because it was Symbian... and so far (for the price) I'm pretty pleased. Nokia maps in particular were one of the main reasons it was Nokia over Android. Cheap parts prices, modular design and battery life were some of the other reasons. Only missing thing on this phone is a flash!!!

Its currently on Anna but want to upgrade to Belle so I install the Nokia suite 3.3.86 which is where my issues started. It takes me 20 minutes just to get to the software update tab due to the constant message of not responding! When I get to the update tab I search for updates and says after 10 minutes cannot connect to server. I can't longer use the e-mail client to access my hotmail account. The problem started happening around 2 weeks ago and the situation remains, the client continues to tell me the password is wrong, but it's not.I've tried to set up the account with Mail for Exchange, and while it initially seem to work, then suddenly the e-mail from last month all start going to the Deleted Items folder in Hotmail, even after having configured the phone never to delete any messages, so I stopped using that solution as well.

When I connect my phone to my laptop with the USB cable I cannot see the pictures in Windows Explorer, the folder where they should be is just blank, this is very fustrating as it means I cannot cut and paste photos off my phone, i can only copy them via the import function.
I have had my N8 for a long time now and never had this problem. Also, it keeps saving the images as 001, 002, 003 etc, even though I select in options to save as date.
I do not want to have to do a hard reset and loose everything and have to install it all again which i had to do when i updated to Belle.
whether we can upgrade to symbian belle on Nokia 5800 (S60V5)?

I tried updating thru Nokia Suite but its taking a veryy long time just to check for update, i think its past 1 hr already. is there an alternative way to upgrade? we have no wifi here so i cant update thru my N8.Updating thru Nokia suite is becoming a pain. i dont know why its taking so effin long. its not downloading yet its just on checking status.
